Acase Superleggera PRO

i know that slim/sleek/svelte is all the rage these days, but if you're like me, you're paranoid about drops. i've used this case on my n4 since day one and couldn't be happier with it. i'm definitely picking up an n5 version of it when i get around to ordering my n5. (which should be tomorrow, woo!)
just wanted to throw this case out there as option for those who want more serious protection than the slim and hybrid stuff currently out there. if this case is anything like it's n4 counterpart, it's not going to add a ton of bulk to the phone. i think the protection/bulk trade-off is right in a sweet spot with this case.

This seems similar to the dual layer Incipio cases for some phones. If it is then I agree this is a great balance for cases offering heavy duty protection.

I have one on the way for my mother in laws phone, if pictures haven't been posted by the time I get mine i'll put some up

I ordered the red one. Unfortunately the release date has been delayed a week (14th of Nov. to 22nd of Nov.)

I ordered the white one on Nov 1st and was expected to ship on the 12th, never got a shipping confirmation so I'm assuming mine was delayed too. Disappointing but at least I got it with the free shipping offer!

I just received this email from the vendor on Amazon about the Acase Superleggera I ordered about a week ago:

That's annoying. I was looking forward to seeing if the Nexus 5 case lived up to the 4's well deserved hype. I've ordered two cases already for a combined $13, but I was looking at also getting this case for the best protection.

we just ordered one the other day and got a shipping confirmation for the purple one saying it was on the way...

Did you order it through the Digital Media Source or the CTC store, they both offered the same products, but getting it through CTC store was half the price.

Sorry i was mistaken, I think it was actually $0.99 with $4.50 shipping when I ordered the white one. Still no shipping confirmation... It was suppose to be delivered by the 19th. I'll give them a day or two more before I ask about it. Not really in a hurry as I have the Spigen Ultra Hybrid as well as the Am Case bumper delivering today.

CTC Store... I'm a cheap ass lol.

Did the CTC store shutdown or something? None of the nexus 5 acases are available to purchase from them, and the CTC store (on amazon) doesn't seem to be selling anything at all.

yeah I'm beginning to think something is up with the CTC store myself. The low prices seem to good to be true. Mine say it has shipped and was supposed to be delivered already but I have yet to see it.

I had an order in at that price but I cancelled it, now I regret it, I can't find the cheaper listing now...

I'll go and contact them tonight and see what is with them dissaperaing on amazon.

I also noticed CTC store had pretty much disappeared.
I cancelled my order with them around 4pm est and bought it from another vendor.
At 5:30pm est they sent me a message telling me that they're sorry, they shipped my package today, and to write "REFUSED" on it and send it back.
At 6:15pm est they sent me a notification saying it had shipped.
I'm going to play along and give them the benefit of the doubt, but the way they're going about things seems very peculiar.

Where can I buy this case shipped to or in Canada?

Egh I have this for the Nexus 4 and it gets damaged so easily on the back. The material takes permanent scratches like nothing.

I ordered my new one on March 31st and they still didn't give me anything, it's worth a shot though

Just got a free Air Jacket Grip calling Moto CS.
Ordered phone on the 1st during the Mothers Day sale, they havnt shipped yet so called to get an estimated date of delivery and kindly asked if i can get the promo as well.
Guy on the phone was nice enough to give me the case but a no go on the screen protector. Still...free case, woo!

Got one off Ebay

I managed to get the 360 silver face and black leather band for $95 shipped. It is used but the guy said he used it once and didn't like it, he also got it for free as a promotion. So I figured for $95 I'll pick one up....

I hope it works out. Although claims from Ebay sellers are best taken with a grain of salt.

Yep, that is a good way to go!! Grabbed one off of CL (craiglist) for $85 and slapped a eBay $11 steel band on it and it is like new! No scratches, no cracks. Mine was still running the old (original OS) so I had to update it but other then that I could not be happier! What a deal on a great looking watch that also does a lot more!

As I said, I hope it works out.
I can say I also have purchased some things through EBay sellers that went "flawless". But I've also had buys from highly ranked Ebay sellers, that were far less than flawless.
I know a bad experience can occur with any seller, even big named stores. But I've had a more reliable overall experience with major stores.

Well, i don't have the luck you have to live in a country where amazon could deliver, so i'm pretty happy i ordered it on ebay for that cheap of a price! don't mind the wait, furthermore it took only 2 weeks when delivery was announced to take up to 6 weeks

I had this case, and me as well as 4 others on reddit so far have all cracked our screens from a less than 2 foot drop when it landed on its face. Be careful with it, I feel like it does more damage than it prevents.

I had one of the cases delievered today and the quality seems pretty good. That said, for a $1.20 cost it was worth the buy anyway...waiting for the protector

Thanks for the post. Ordered one of the cases and a set of screen protectors. Not sure of the quality for the protectors, but having an extra set might come in handy at some point.

I own both for the Pixel 3XL. Both are good quality. The Vault has a slightly thinner back but also has a bumpy grainy texture. I prefer the feel of the Legion. Both worked with the Google Pixel Stand and a 3rd party wireless charging stand.

I've been using the Waterfall for a few weeks and just put on the Vault. I had a Vault on my Pixel 2 XL and the textured back is much better on this one. The only negative is that the case has a thicker back and as a result the fingerprint sensor is really deep and makes swiping on it difficult and uncomfortable.

Did you contact them through their website? I sent them photos of how bad the Pixel 3 XL screen protectors were and they refunded me without me even asking for one. They responded 3 days after I filled out the contact form.

Yes, and they got back to me but are asking for pictures of the package and the shipping label (which I don't have, I threw the package they shipped in away when I got them). Let's see what happens next
