Hi guys,
I have a rooted one X and want to install he latest update. I tried to relock my bootloader by starting fastboot and then type:
" fastboot oem relock"
Now my phone should be relocked and it does show relocked in pink in the bootloader, but under that stands security warning I don't kno if thats normal or important or something. I rebooted my phone and downloaded the update but when i try to install it i still get into the bootloader.
What am I doing wrong and how do I unlock my bootloader again after the update?

You unlock by flashing the unlock_code.bin file again like you first did.
To apply an ota update you also need to reflash the stock recovery

Okay I unlocked my bootloader flashed my recovery.img and relocked my bootloader again. But still it reboots into the bootloader. Could it be my backup of the recovery.img is already wrong?? and if so where can i get the right one

I Relocked the bootloader and got back to stock recovery.. But while updating i have an error.. Phone with red square on him..
Idk what i'm doing wrong. i have status relocked.. Maybe something wrong with stock recovery?
I tried the recovery image attached to this post first time it deleted al my data second time the update succeeded
Still can't update.. tried some other recoveries, but still get error while updating..
try to flash the stock boot.img first.

It returns me to bootloader))
You can try to following download stock recovery and download the RUU of your phone ( the same version as your latest official update ) then go to fastboot
Type
Fastboot flash recovery "your stock recovery " .img
Hit enter
Fastboot flash OEM lock
This might give an error but when you type it again it wil work
Now put your phone in fastboot again and then start your RUU from your pc if it gives an error just search for another One it will take about 10 min but after your phone will work fine

Today i tried to install this crappy Custom Rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...light=bootloop Renovate 1.1 i installed 2 other Roms before and all of those was succesfully , then i tested this and i got into a bootloop , so i restored my backup , this bootloops too and the 2 other roms bootloop too , i tried so much things now i can go to bootloader but its Relocked Security Warning what can i do?
It does not help if you post it in several places.
Unlock your bootloader, wipe and flash a rom.
Then do fastboot flash boot boot.img

Hello , Some one help me long back ago i rooted my phone by unlocking bootloader via HTCDev and flashed TWRP recovery , now i relocked it and trying to flash stock recovery, im getting errors , recovery is not flashing and if i try to unlock bootloader again i will get confirmation screen and if i select yes .. it displays msg as Entering Into Recovery and strucks there . Now i got lollipop update .. i want to install it ,

Hi,
a couple of weeks back i rooted the phone (HTC DESIRE 820 dual sim) with twrp recovery. I was looking to find some custom lollipop rom. Yday official OTA update was released and i downloaded it. Tried installing it but it would not install the update.
I extracted the OTA.zip file using winrar and then firmware.zip file. I used the recovery.img and flashed it using flashify app from the play store. Tried installing OTA update now, still no success.
Then using the same app i tried to flash the boot.img file. This is where is problem started. It will not go beyond the fastboot.
I tried reflash the entire firmware.zip using
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
I get this error.
FAILED (remote: 12 signature verify fail)
How can i fix this. Hope i have not bricked the device. Please can someone Help

The steps i used to flash rom
fastboot devices
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip <zip file>
fastboot reboot
After flashing , i have also update htc 820 to lollipop update, no issues. Everything works fine.
can you plz explain all steps to solve this problem..
