Yes, just check bugs in second post

"Crash 15s after booting"
A little vague, what crashes 15 seconds after booting?

Qualcomm location, caused by gps blobs, tries to connect, spend much time and gives a crash, fine now?

Yeah, was wondering if it was the setup process which would be a lot more serious. I think GPS is a common issue with all the roms just now.

Added to the OnePlus 5 Index Thread here.

Np, just gps works, but gives a crash, i think most users would find an advice of the crash usefull and not the gps issue, easier to understand.
10-12 18:27:00.600 1221 1299 E ActivityManager: ANR in system
10-12 18:27:00.600 1221 1299 E ActivityManager: PID: 1221
10-12 18:27:00.600 1221 1299 E ActivityManager: Reason: executing service com.qualcomm.location/.LocationService

Does this mean the GPS is functionally any different to other pie ROMs sir just that it's failure is verbose rather than silent?

The gps, i dont know about other roms, i just used what worked for me, is still an early stage for pie.

villarleg said:
No, it's okay, but if you ask in good manners I answer without problem, I just published the rom and only receive criticism that this is vague... There are other manners to ask something.

What's this about manners? I'm sorry if I've inadvertently caused offence. I literally cannot decipher some of your sentences and it is in the interest of potential users to attempt to clarify.
If I get the time to install and test myself I'd answer myself, but for now I thought I'd ask you what you meant.
Thanks for publishing, it really is appreciated. Please take some of the questions as compliments, it means we're interested

Oh, not for you, sry for my english, i think that you asked for my answer to that user, its an early build, but it hasnt many bugs, just gps blobs gives a crash and rotation is not working, im working in porting features to AOKP so im going to use LOS device trees, issues will be the same.

Fixed rotation

New build:
-Fixed crash after boot caused by gps blobs (Using crdroid blobs now)
-Tons of features added, check second post.

Nice job mate
Keep the good work :highfive:

Gcam works in this rom? With or without fix module?

Any idea why battery bar colour settings keep going back to defaulf?
Example, I've set the bar to be green. Save settings and all ok.
Then when exploring ROM control menus, the battery bar colour seems to default back to white.

Okay so I haven't done a build for a while now. But loads have changed since then. MANY features have been added. And DUI is being added now. I'm just waiting for DUI to get merged and I'll do a build then. Oh and btw, it's official now
PS. I'll update the op once I'm back from school
You sir, are something else. Respect.

Rom is build from sources not from other threads. Check here https://android.googlesource.com/platform/frameworks/base/+refs
https://github.com/PureNexusProject-Mod/android_frameworks_base/commits/n-mr2
Instead of copy pasting do go through the sources and see what is there. And for your original work, do you have your own device tree or kernel? And building ROMs in google cloud is completely free almost for 3months if you know how to use it. If someone needs donation it is the original dev of the ROM and dev which device tree and kernel you are using in the ROM.

Just to clarify, what exactly is your work for which you want credits? The kernel source is untouched from ontherunvaro and I don't see a device tree. And IMO, the PayTM banner is a bit TOO BIG. Sends the wrong message. If users like your work, they will automatically donate. PS: it's r17 and not r18 like miju mentioned. Please take care
Have a nice day

Look at your commits. Remove citrus.mk other wouldn't be there if it was build from scratch. The nice way is to fork it and give proper authorship to the commits instead of showing it as your own. Just learn without being ignorant.

seriously , that's totally squash commits from davi aex tree into 1 commits called " My commits"
i can see it https://github.com/PureNexusProject...mmit/2e3cc4c92a2216fddaf8d7106b89d085ba21c414
there is a du
also if we browse files starting from this commits "https://github.com/PureNexusProject...ree/14f4770593f36d77f847f9ac54bb2b88b89d5717"
we can found citrus and du files...
and why there is a rr string right there
https://github.com/PureNexusProject...kages/apps/Settings/res/values/rr_strings.xml
okay we already knew all of those lines comes from fedor, alvaro, and davi, diego, csranol
if you want to start something from scratch , we appreciate it ( seriously yes!)
but please, don't lie to us about your scratch tree, alright?
You respect us, we respect you

Bro in case you don't remember, xposed is official and working on all our custom n roms.
So if you just install gravitybox and set that feature on back button yourself, then every ROM in this forum will technically have what you want.
Also, each and every los ROM has that feature. Either in ROM settings, or in developer options (in end of list)
//Use brain, don't be dumb.

If the ROM system is same, and cosmic version and security patches same too, then I think you should only make patch. It will save your and user's data.
Very smooth rom..... sir....
I will use all of your roms as the roms are Soo smooth and with less bugs.....

The point of ROMs is to find the one which best suits your need.:cyclops:
So your aim should not be to try all roms. Your aim should be to find a suitable stable rom which meets your daily needs.
All devs usually have a rom which they don't change for a very very long time. HDHR is using los14.1 from a couple months maybe. I was using viper since a month.
It's very nice to see you appreciate our works and wait so eagerly for it. It's great to have users like you. But remember there's a world outside of ROMs. My advice is to not waste time in changing roms too frequently. It's ok if you change once in a month or more. But wiping a stable rom within a week or days is considered bad for use. It points to addiction and it's our duty on xda as fellow users to warn you against this. Even I was a victim of ROM addiction when I was new. Time gave me knowledge and experience.
Anyways, it your wish to do whatever you want and I don't stop you from using anything available here in xda. But it's my duty to tell everyone this.
Peace out
Good advice..even i was addicted by frequently trying every rom
Thank you @tanish2k09.....for guidance....
But still there are many who would change the ROM...
And about stability it's quite stable.....
Sir @AKS12 your roms are really stable sir..
Keep it up sir..... Hope we get many roms..
No more posts and reply please because this would make the thread dirty...
And also this ROM is like a type of mine first love ROM....
So plz understand guys....just cool...
And no more reply to this post too...
Just have a pm instead of these....
Hope all would understand.....

Ffmpeg... Hmm...
It's not purely for our device. That lib is ported. It is not unexpected that media playback with advanced control is buggy.
If a reboot doesn't fix it, then I think nothing can be done. But before also I've been surprised by @AKS12 with his patches that couldn't have imagined to come up with. Idk how he does it but he's really good at it.
Good Work Bro
I tried compiling but it had camera bug
Good to see stable cosmic

Hey another day another rom, that's what you might be thinking. but we at stag (I'll try not to use big words, because the idea is to be simple) aim at something towards elegance. We are learners just like everyone out there, This is small something we have started which helps us learn every single day. Why Stag, you might question, my answer would be why not. After all Harry's patronus was a stag(pun intended). Anyway, so the aim here is to provide a really good experience to everyone who uses, everyone on telegram channel can contact us and request, everything will be considered, because if you as users feel something missing, it obviously must be missing. So looking forward for people using our StagOS and giving us all your precious feedback.
~Sic Parvis Magna~
PS: for people wondering what sic parvis magna is, it translates to great endings from small beginnings, Something i picked up while playing a game.

ROM review:
The ROM is very smooth and experience of scrolling through the rom is great. It feels like a bit different rom than our regular aosp roms out there.
All things are working as expected no bugs found as of now. It could be a daily driver.
Make sure of one thing if you're installing that to download stagos gapps from the link from op. K tried installing gapps but it threw a warning so i downloaded stagos gapps just to make sure.
Room is smooth... But I'm having random soft reboots now and then... Also extra right key button is not perfectly placed (sharing screenshot)
