Hello i have Lg G3 D858HK went unresponsive after using facebook apps while listening to the music.
It completely unresponsive and i pull out the battery and turn it on.
Only blank screen with blue and red led sign. Is my motherboard problem?
I tried to boot into twrp and reflash the rom i used which is Fulmic 8.0 and
same problem blank screen.
I start digging into countless of thread like LG G3 Hard Brick Recovery
I managed to flash partition using extracted .tot from LGD858HKATv10d, still it won't boot.
I continue with LG flash tool 2014 on download mode with trial and error with the problem always stuck at 4% S/W upgrade
and keep continue to ask me to disconnect and reconnect the phone. Somehow i managed to flash firmware
using new firmware D858HK30b_00_0906.kdz.
I thought the problem is gone, now it stuck on bootloop and sometime with dead android guy with warning marks on his body.
I do factory reset still not working.
Is it i flash the wrong kdz file?
I have clueless right now as where to seek help. I don't know what is the actual problem
motherboard or software.

Hi everyone, new member. Recently my g3 got in a bootloop so i hard reset it. Everything seemed to work fine but after a short time the device used to get stuck and restart. I followed a guide how to revert back everything to stock but something went wrong and the device got stuck on MiniOS and then Reset Status 2.
i tried to fix it by flashing it with .kdz file but for some reason now when i turn it on it says: Secure booting error and the screen turns black and the led starts flashing red and blue.
I cannot access download mode cause it goes straight to the lg logo and black screen but u can access recovery mode. i already tried a hard reset but its no use as the device gets back to the black screen.
Any help would be immensely appreciated as this is my second g3 in 4 months and im tempted to throw it away.
Thanks and good day

So recently I had bricked my phone due to being silly with the wipe in TWRP trying to install CM12.1 and had to follow some guides to get the stock firmware which took some time getting to happen. Used the LG Flash Tool 2014 for this.
So far its back into Lollipop when it said Android is upgrading and boots into the standard LG stock of Lollipop. I'm glad I've managed to get back on the phone but I'm experiencing alot of issues with the phone in general since this issue.
Below is what I am currently experiencing:
Turning the phone off doesnt happen, the LED cycles through blue and green and is forever stuck on this. The same goes for trying to reboot so I have to pull the battery.
Some of the apps/menus turn the phone into a black screen and freezes. Takes some time before the phone realizes I'm double tapping to wake it up or press the power button to lock the phone and get the lockscreen up. Again I have to battery pull just to get anywhere.
Sometimes the phone will randomly just load into the LG boot logo and get stuck there, not too sure what causes this to happen.
The phone would be on and all of a sudden not respond as if its turned off. The LED light will be red as if its charging but once again I have to battery pullfr
Earlier today I used a site which checked my IMEI number to see which KDZ i need to get and used that for flashing again as I reckon I used the wrong file initially.
Basically I have a D855 16gb model and I'm on Three in the UK. The IMEI site which I was recommended to use said I needed to use D85520l_00.kdz
Let me know if I need to add any further information.
Try to fresh flash....wipe data also you have to do cse flash ....backup nvram part first , but i dont know how to backup imei so search on forum and i am not sure it's needed or not but for safety i say this.try to find out correct kdz for your phone according to your imei number.
Hi there! Long time user but this will be my first post as I've exhausted all options. A while back i rooted my G3 on marsh mellow, everything was fine until one day it entered a bootloop in my pocket. I went about using the TOT method on androidrootz (I'm not allowed to post urls yet) to revive it as my recovery seemed to have been erased during the bootloop. After much trial and error I got the LG Flash tool to work! but not completely Using upgrade dl gives me the 3 at the end but then continues to bootloop, I tried doing a manual factory reset but it only flashed the factory reset screen and then continued into the boot loop. Another method suggested was to use Board dl, I also had success with that but I brings me to a new problem. After finishing the flash tool it boots to the mini OS and displays Auto Touch Test: Dont' touch the screen! but the screen is completely unresponsive and I can't even tap okay to clear the window. Holding down the power button while tapping does nothing and a manual factory reset doesn't either! So I'm stumped, any help would be appreciated! I feel like I'm so close to having it fixed but i just need that one piece. I either need to solve the bootloop with upgrade dl or the unresponsive mini OS with board dl.
Hi, I have an LG G3 VS985 on 47a (according to LGUP) and I recently tried installing an OTA update that I have been putting off for a while. During the update I got an error that froze the updating process so I pulled the battery. After pulling the battery I can not get passed the LG logo in the beginning. The logo will show up, turn black for a few seconds, vibrate, then restart again. I tried downgrading using the TOT and KDZ methods but kept getting a no ks version error or some other type of problem. So then I decided to use the newest 48a KDZ file and LGUP to update/overwrite what I have installed right now. The process starts and the phone shows that the installation is working but when LGUP gets to the point where it has to restart the phone (about 80%), it just keeps bootlooping instead of going on with the installation. I tried clearing cache, factory resetting, and everything else I can think of. I read that the bootloader might be corrupted? If that is the case, how would I go about fixing it? Thanks in advance.
Edit: Another strange thing happens when I plug my phone into a charger from the off state. Instead of showing how much battery is charged, it just shows a loading circle on the battery picture then proceeds to restart into the loop (without me touching the power).
Exact same problem I'm having
1 difference my led light does not work . Is there a fix? Need help
Hey everyone ,
I have an LG G4 (h815t) Hong Kong variant , the device is on the stock rom 5.1 lollipop. It had the bootloop issue but i managed to fix it thanks to XDA (u da real MVP) , however after a couple of days the device suddenly powered off, i tried to power it on again but no luck what so ever,so i removed the battery then pressed the power button for 60 seconds (as it was written in a thread), then i put the battery back again & powered on, this time the device booted on to the LG logo i thought the problem is now solved because even if it was on a bootloop i already had the solution for that, but it wasn't even a bootloop, the LG logo showed for a brief then it went to a black screen! (awesome right? ). i have tried to factory reset the device after that, i booted to recovery successfully & confirmed that i want to reset the phone but after the confirm the device went to a black screen on again! tried to get the device to the download mode & I've managed to do so after a couple of tries , then i tried to flash a kdz using the LG up tool but after i hit start to begin the flashing the percentage just get to 4% then the device somehow exits the download mode to a black screen & the LG tool reports an error. So now I'm stuck sadly
I've seen a solution on XDA in which i use an SD card to boot from to the download mode (as my internal storage could be corrupted),i boot from the SD card using a (single image.bin) file, but the author in that thread included the single image file to a specific G4 variant & of course i couldn't find the single image.bin for my variant (H815t). so here am i again stuck :crying:
-ANY HELP WOULD BE VERY VERY APPRECIATED.
