Yes, I think it'll work but maybe you'll face some bugs in camera.

I know this will sound like a really stupid question, but which is my phone? GearBest, the place where I ordered it, it's calling it Redmi Note 5 but, according to the hardware, appearently is a Note 5 Pro? I'm really lost here. That forum is for the Indian Redmi Note 5, which is a rebranded redmi 5 plus (china). Codename: - VINCE
^^^ That is why Indian's have a Redmi Note 5 Pro
So if your getting WHYRED, stay in these forums.

Yes is it Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Global Version with SD 636
I figure it out by installing Antutu, but does all Redmi Note 5 with dual camera considered as Pro or Whyred?
Chinese or Indian have same Whyred name?

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 China/global and Pro share one codename which is WHYRED. China and global version are almost the same (global version supports LTE B4 and B20 and China version doesn't ). Pro version has got different front camera sensor
So whenever You see Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 with dual camera and Snapdragon 636 it's code in WHYRED. If frontal camera is 20Mpx - it's Remi Note 5 Pro. If 12Mpx (or 13Mpx I can't remember) it's China or global. LTE B20 and B4 supported ? Then its global

This entire forum is dedicated to both RN5Pro and Global RN5, both labeled as WHYRED. So most of the things should work on both, unless it's noted otherwise. The builds (both rom and kernel) are unified, as it was done with OP 3/3T.
Is it Possible to get the AI Features of Redmi Note 5 AI (China) to Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro (India)? with any software upgrades or MOD? If Yes, How can we do this?

Front camera bokeh effect (potrait mode) which is available to Redmi Note 5 China will be available to Redmi Note 5 Pro. As for the assistant it will only be limited to Chinese variant and will be in their chinese language.
Does anyone know if poco m2 pro uses pwm?
i checked on notebookcheck but they didn't test this device.
as far as i know poco m2 pro is rebrand of redmi note 9 pro which uses pwm. but redmi note 9s which is almost same as redmi note 9 pro doesn't use pwm.
Hey guys, i'm in a bit of a dilemma and wondering if any of you can help me choose. My mi 9T broke and i need to buy a new phone, i could buy a brand new mi 11 lite for like 290 USD or a barely used secondhand mi 10t for around 320 USD.
Should i buy an older mi 10t? does it have any known issues? or should i buy a brand new mi 11 lite?
I come from a 9T using Pixel Experience and was super satisfied. Since I use custom roms, I'm not as satisfied with my 11 Lite in terms of software (also, I think the camera is even a downgrade from the excellent 9T using the Gcam).
If you like custom roms, at least take a look to the scene in the 10T forums before changing phones. I hope it's more active than this one.
