These are for the Dual sim variant (A16_DWG), I will see if I can get the Single sim firmware (A16_DWGL) in the future.
On the kernel source front:
The HTC Desire 10 EU kernel source on HTCDev includes your device's kernel source so with it you should be able to make something that works. Look for a16dwg in arch/arm/configs/ and arch/arm/boot/ for examples

Hi I am planning to flash a custom ROM on my HTC desire A8181.
One of the prerequisites i found is that i keep a copy of my Stock ROM ready.
I couldnt find the specific froyo RUU for my Bravo -HTC Desire on shipped-roms(dot)com website neither on XDA.
My Build number is 2.13.720.2 and Baseband Version 32.44.00.32U_5.09.05.30_2 . Is it necessary that i should use the exact same custom ROM or can i use one that is with the same baseband version.
Sorry if i dint make sense but i am jus a beginner and really energised to try out the latest ROM.
Pls help.

The number A8181 means, the phone is for europe and asia. So this could also be the right one:

Furthermore, this one is newer. The ruu you guys give him is older than this current version.

so one can install the latest Stock RUU for his/her device provided it is one that belongs to a device from the same region.
Jus to make my understanding clearer ..what sort of dependency (in version) does a Stock ROM have on a Device ?
I noticed that I have a 1.28.707.10 version of the firmware and from it the 707 region code. Looking at the downloadable sources in htcdev.com, I have found a match which is a 1.26 version. I wonder why there is no source for the 1.28.707.x? Is it the reason why we don't get the 1.29 yet? Is it safe to use an RUU file with 728 instead of 707 on my device?
Please advise.
I tried to unlock bootloader using Easy unlock tool and im getting
info err command error
the device goes to fastboot and this error appears
i can't continue forward
Using windows 8, i really don't know if it is a driver problem

BEFORE beginning the Unlock Bootloader process your product requires that you update the ROM to the version listed in the table below first, then download the RUU next to it to enable the unlocking capability.

I would first of all recommend to to unlock your bootloader at all, rather follow the instruction on the xda wiki to root your phone.
But either way you will need to get the drivers to work for adb and fastboot and win 8 has caused a lot of issue so try another PC if possible

Yes, it is the nougat version for T-Mobile PL. However, it's a custom made RUU which lacks HTC's signature. Only devices with S-OFF can get flashed with this file.
Is there an official implementation for this device or is it possible to use another compatible version as present on the downloads webpage. If so please specify which zip is the one I want.
