Motion Launch Gesture Default Camera App

Is there a way to change the default camera app that launches when I use the volume button motion gesture to launch the camera? I would like to use a different app than the default one that launches. My phone is rooted, and I don't mind messing with files.
I'm using a Sense based rom (Wolla v6.2)

Hi there. I love this phone but no matter what i use hardware key or software one i just hate those lights at the bottom of the phone.
I just like the mia1 as a blackbox so i made a simple magisk module to disable them with a simple echo cmd.
I made this for my personal use but before i searched on web if there was any other solution, and nothing was made recently.
The module is tested on a stock mia1.
It will work on other phones or mia1 rom if the kernel have the same path to the file i use. Testing won't bite as if it doesn't work nothing will break.

Using the gesture mode from android 9 will desactivate the button function.

Did you mean two buttons? I do activated that, but still working both physically and navbar aswell

If you're on stock rom enabling the navbar will desactivate the button function but not the led light.

Did a modify from another module that disable capacitive navigation buttons completely and the backlight and enabling navigation bar (build prop edit) for stock. Because when I pick the phone and accidentally tap on recent button, the screen turns on.
File in attachments. (That can be counted as update of this module)
EDIT: installing any other magisk modules that include init.d (like Cloudflare Magisk module) will enable the button lights. (but still the buttons will be disabled)

Working in stock ROM android 9

Replacing stock camera app with gcam

I've downloaded the latest gcam port and it works great on my RN8, problem is I cannot launch it with any of the default shortcuts, double press on power or double vol down press.
I can make it the default camera app through MIUI but it has no bearing on launching it as default camera app so in effect making it the default app is pointless.
The lockscreen camera button doesn't lauch it eaither despite again being the default app?
Any ideas anyone, anyone, Bueller, Bueller....................??

Really, 190 odd views & nobody out there knows??

If you disable the stock cams app so it leaves gcam as the only camera app would it make any difference , Just guessing as i have a moto G7 power

MIUI explicitly calls the stock camera, even if GCam is set as default the stock camera (com.android.camera) will be started.
Your best bet is to install a custom AOSP based ROM.

Button mapping motion sense

Just got button mapping pro to change motion actions but nothing works I changed edge actions no problem that worked great but nothing on motion sense any help would be great

Are you sure you read and followed the instructions at the top of the Motion Sense section?

All settings are done as directed and when I change motion sensor to close screen or even turn the flashlight on it does not work I've tried several different gestures for the motion and it will not work with button mapper I was able to change the side squeeze feature without any problem again any help will be awesome

You need to use a Pixel Live Wallpaper for it to work, otherwise motion sense does not turn on.

Button Mapper works in the apps where motion sense Is triggered, exanple YouTube or Google play music

Double tap to lock screen

Hi all.
Just bought a Realme X2 for my wife: from the first impression, it seems to be very good!
I didn't find a way to activate a double tap to turn the screen off though (I activated the double tap to wake...)
Is there any way to do that? Or, in alternative, is there a widget like in my MI9T that does (almost) the same?

Hi, double tap to sleep is currently not present in the stock launcher of color os 6.1. It can be added by installing a 3rd party launcher or wait for Realme UI update at March end which will have this option on the stock launcher.
