since this morning my phone has lost the wifi connection.
i have bought it one month ago and had no isiues with wifi. but suddenly this morning lost the connection and i cannot connect back.
i tried restart....back to original connection settings....restart rooter....i even download 2 apps to fix wifi connection but nothing...
please help

So I am having some wifi problems. Like most I have 5 or 6 wifis that I connect to on my phone. My issue is that I will need to use my data and my phone's wifi is stuck on trying to connect to a wifi network that is no longer available. I can't turn wifi off or anything. My only fix is to restart the phone. Any clues?

Yes. I believe I'm experiencing the same thing.
Here's my situation, I have the Rogers LGOG (Not rooted) and the reception @ work is extremely poor. So I turn on wifi to connect. I'm able to connect to my corporate wifi, but when I leave to go between floors and I'm out of my wifi range and return, I'm not able to connect. WI-FI is ON and it keeps searching for hotspots, but I'm not able to connect and the only way for it to work again is to reboot. Now, this does not happen consistently, but it has happened a few times to where I'm wondering is this a problem with the OS or is it the phone.
Any thoughts on this to point me to the right direction would be greatly appreciated. thank you.
Same problem with F180K, but there an OTA update arrived yesterday saying "Wifi bug fix".
Cant tell if they really fixed it, cause im waiting for my flight, so cant test it right now.

I have a att Lg optimus G E970, I think I have the same issue, only solution is restart
Hi all, I got this issiue snice yesterday, I tried to send some pictures from an old Nokia 2730 to my HOX with the bluetooth. I tried to send many times but it didn't work and i also tryed to connect both first to each other which worked but later i couldn't send the pic's to my phone. Then i dont remember i just pressed some buttons that came up and after that I noticed that my wifi got dropped. My wifi was on but didn't connect to our wifi internet at home. I also tried with the 3G and not even that worked. Also tried to restart the phone. Anyone knows how to fix this issiue I'll be greatful.

I've had the Tab S for a number of months now and I've never had any problem with it. But just a couple of days ago I updated it to Android Lollipop and since then for some reason one of my Wifi networks has stopped working on it. My main wifi still works on it but the other one isn't even though it works on all my other devices. I just get the "AP currently not in use. Internet connection to slow" problem. I looked around the internet and changed configured my wifi to static and put in the IP address and even though the wifi did connect I didn't get any internet connection still. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am on V30n rooted and I was before that on V30j I have D855 that was working all great, in recent month it just won't connect to wifi, it connects sometimes and most of the time I just see "saved" and it does not want to connect,
sometimes it connects for few seconds and dissconnects, I searched all over the internet with no clue of solving this!
btw I changed battery a few months ago but all went well since then.....
is it a hardware failure?
Hi there, same problem for me...since last week, it won't connect to wifi. When i toggle wifi on, it stucks on "activating wifi" and I can't deactivate it. I'm on marshmallow too, same version V30n , but not rooted...Please help...?

I hope somebody can help me. I have a very strange issue with my Sony Xperia XZ2 compact and my Wifi. It won't connect under any circumstances. It says "Establishing connection" but nothing happens. It worked in the first place but since two weeks, it stopped working.
What I tried yet: -
resetted the phone to default and updated to newest android
- resetted the router to default
- changed the wifi channel and Name/Password
The strange thing is: The phone connects to every other wifi, except my home wifi. And every other phone does connect to my home wifi. It seems to be a issue between my home router and my phone. But I have no clue what else I should do.
This really sucks. I really need Wifi at home.

well,i cant turn on the wifi option now
and it will reboot randomly as i try to turn on wifi
even i could turn on wifi still there is no signal and unable to connect to everything
BUT MY LTE WORKS VERY WELL
4G SIGNAL IS STRONG AS FXXK
