Different lte bands (modems) in whyred redmi note 5 pnones - Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Questions & Answers

I am about to order the Redmi Note 5 AI (Global) and just realised that the code name is still whyred.
So, we have the Indian (RN5 pro), China Ai and Global Ai whyred code-named phones! (to the best of my knowledge)
MIUI Roms do try to specify the difference but most custom Roms just says whyred.
The three whyreds have different LTE bands, therefore, they have different Modems.
I have searched all the threads here in xda about the differences in the modems but not yet clear on the following questions:
1) If I flash Chinse Ai Rom on Global Ai whyred, do I have to still flash Global Ai Modem?
2) Does flashing Global Ai Rom on Chinese Ai phone Unlock more LTE bands
3) What happens if I flash Global Ai Rom on Indian RN5 pro, will it gain more LTE bands?
4) Finally, will flashing general whyred custom Rom affect the Modem or LTE bands in the whyred phones?
5) Final Finally, Can someone explain to me flashing Modems and Anti Roll Back feature? does ARB affect flashing Modems?
Please I need some answers here and if you can use the question number reference while answering any of the questions

China RN5P Band20

I am curious whether flashing the baseband on the China Redmi note 5 pro will unlock LTE band 20.
Anyone tried it before on another Redmi device?
Or is there a sure fire way of unlocking B20?
No, it doesn't work that way with Qualcomm modems. You can't do software unlock cause there's nothing to unlock, it's all hardware.

Unlocking bands in EU version

Hello all.
I just bought a Xiaomi Note 8T and i realiced i have received a EUROPEAN version and i need the GLOBAL version.
My country (argentina) uses LTE bands 2, 4, 7, 8, 28, and my phone just have 7, 8 and 28. So, i don't know if the phone will work fine because i dont have the band 4, very important band in Argentina.
1) Can i unlock the band 4 in the european version? there is a chance modifying the firmware or is a hardware process? I readed some guides, like this https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note/general/unlock-lte-bands-step-step-xiaomi-mi-t3084774 , but just i dont know if that it may work.
2) If i flash a GLOBAL ROM, this may work?
Thanks.
bump, I have this issue too.

Question Flashing Global ROM to North American OP9 Pro question

If you were to get a dual-SIM tray and flash the global ROM to the NA OP9 Pro, would there be any issues using dual-SIM? Also, even if it did work, would there be any way that an update would remove that capability?
I've never flashed a ROM before, so please forgive my ignorance.
I was just thinking about this more, probably needs more than just installing a rom. probably a needs msm tool
I did exactly that (picked up dual sim tray, flashed EU OOS full) on my OnePlus 9 5g NA (AA) version, and the second sim still didn't read. As another member posted, it likely will require a custom MSM flash. I had hoped the TMobile conversion tool/procedure would work for that, but can't risk my main phone for now.

Question Will cross flashing modems open up different bands?

Hi I have an LE2120 cross flashed to global and am currently running nameless. I was wondering if flashing a NA modem would allow me to see all the NA bands including the Verizon UW bands. I ask this since as far as I can tell the hardware is the exact same on all the models with just a change in software. I appreciate your answers. Thank you.
Hi, here is a link with more info regarding you question for/on our device.
Modify OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, 8 and 8 Pro, 9 and 9 Pro NR/LTE-A band combos - MT-TECH.FI
On this instruction we will modify OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, 8 and 8 Pro band combo profiles with Qualcomm software. OnePlus has limited 5G access and 4G+/LTE+ Carrier Aggregation combinations and this instruction help you to unlock. However this instruction doesn’t unlock hardware defined combinations...

Question Is the NA version of OnePlus 11 different from Global?

Just was wondering if I can flash the EU or Global firmware on the NA variant?
will I have any problems if I do so? is there any difference in the hardware??
I saw many people said that the difference is the frequency bands for mobile networks but what i'm asking is on hardware level is there any difference??
