hello everyone, I´ve been looking everywhere on the web and cant seem to find a way that is clearly explained on how to disable the verity option on my system, I´m on the august update of android oreo build number OPNS27.76-12-22-9 on a xt-1235_02 moto z play, already with unlocked bootloader and rooted, but can´t use apps that work on system files due to this verity thing, is there anyone who knows what could I do to change this?
Hi..
I have the same problem.
Meu aparelho ficou preso no alerta de bootloadar após o instalar o magisk pelo TWRP.
Anyone help us?
Have you tried this:

Will this only work for the x force version(international) or will also work for droid 2(Verizon)
Droid Turbo 2 has locked bootloader. Without unlock You don't do anything.
If/when this phone gets rooted, it'll be plastered all over the forum.
I looked in my settings earlier today and there's a bootloader unlock option under the developer settings. I haven't bothered flipping it because of no root yet. has anyone tried it?

I have no clue what the purpose of it is... Tease?
That switch is supposed to prevent you from being able to unlock the bootloader by just booting straight into fastboot. If this is off someone would have to be able to get all the way into your phone (which should be password/pin protected) to flip that setting before they could just unlock via adb.
Obviously that setting only does something if the bootloader itself is allowed to be unlocked in the hardware, which the Turbo 2 is not.
when i look for my device on moto page for unlock, i dont see force, should i just select style?

You don't need to select anything. Just follow these steps:

Did you try to install Xposed in MXF with marshmallow? I'm in 6.0 now and tried to install xposed but before doing install/update in the app, I saw a message in red: "xposed is not (yet) compatible with android SDK version 23 or your processor architecture (arm64-v8a)". I don't know if it is ok to proceed.

@jwgallardo @Paulg123 Don't worry guys, it's normal, first install Xposed Alpha, then flash this in recovery mode : http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3580248&d=1450386638
After that Xposed will work (I did that).
Don't forget to check NO when TWRP will ask you to install SuperSu or your MXF fill be bricked (Its happen to me 2 times lol).

After flashing the xposed zip and cleaning cache, my X Force keeps saying 'Moto Voice has stopped' and 'NFC-service has stopped.' Anyone else here with the same problem?
EDIT: Fixed it by rebooting. After rebooting it started again with optimizing apps and after that there was no app crashing anymore.
Can i disable Motorola Notifications service? Anyone tried it?
We need the BLANK FLASH OREO !!! Our moto z play died.
Dont exist yet. You must wait.
No existe todavía, tendrás que esperar amigo, en este foro me dijeron que ni siquiera es probable que salga, es cuestión de suerte por lo que tendrías que esperar a que salgan todas las roms de Oreo a ver si alguna viene con el blankflash
How did you brick your device? Anyways, blankflash files are really rare and we'll probably never see a new one for our z play. Your best hope is to use a blankflash from the z2 play which I don't even know if it exists for Oreo, but the possibility is higher than on our device. I think that's what some people in this forum did to unbrick a certain nougat update.

No, don't even think of using the blankflash of a different phone.

I've just downloaded the 1.67 GB file from that link to have a look and unfortunately there is no blankflash included in that file.
The file does contain the fastboot stock images for flashing the Oreo firmware, but does not contain a blankflash for repairing corrupted bootloaders.
For those that are waiting for a blankflash, the wait continues, or you may have to consider a service repair or even buying a new device.

Yeah, that's correct regarding the Z2 albus blankflash - I recall it worked due to the similarities between the Snapdragon 625 and 626 CPUs, and the blankflash worked for some users downgrading from the 7.1.1 soak test and bricking on using 7.0 OTA updates.
However, that thus implies that, for newer bootloaders from 7.1.1. and 8.0, this blankflash may not work. As you mentioned, blankflashes are a very rare commodity (presumably for security reasons, as they allow you to replace a bootloader). Whether we see a Z Play or Z2 Play blankflash I have no idea, you may have better chances playing the lottery...

Unfortunately, if users have genuinely hard bricked, their bootloader is corrupted, so no fastboot mode. Without fastboot, flashing the stock ROM is not possible as far as I know.
You'd need a new blankflash or, if someone is willing to make one, you could try a full cloned image of the internal storage (including IMEI) from a working device. Making such an image is shown here for the G5S (though this image will likely not work for the Z Play, it'd have to be a Z Play specific image). https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76745171&postcount=244

Someone would have to make the image specific for the Z Play to try it - I imagine the G5S image won't work (different bootloader, CPU etc).

Hard brick means many things to many people. If you can't power up, the battery is probably drained. I am looking for folks that can cable to PC and get past this.
I can't install new fonts after Oreo update and even fonts installed/working on Nougat stopped working. Always says that the font one is not compatible.
Anybody knows why and how to fix it?

Bumping this thread, as I've just run in to the same problem.
I have a font (Bauhaus) installed on my Galaxy S8+ running Oreo, but I've just bought a Note 8, and while it's running the same version of Android, it won't let me install the font (I get the same error as the OP).
Looking around the web, it seems to be a common issue, as Samsung continue to reduce what we can do with our own phones.
Anybody know of a (non root) solution?
This is a very stranger thing... It happened with the A5 but didn't happen with my S8.
I updated from nougat to Oreo after received it and could install fonts with no problem.
It must be a random issue..
In time, I couldn't solve until I sell the A5..

You need to download the stock ROM, and extract the boot.img file from the ROM ZIP file. Then you simply patch it through magisk. Can You tell me exactly what you did so that I can help you in a better way?
