Andida 2600 maH BAttery for the Galaxy Note?

Hi, I was wondering if any of you had try that Andida battery yet? Andida usually make very good alternative battery to original but this product is still very new, I cant find any review anywhere yet about it.

Hello, I'm wondering the same if any user have any experience with this battery that claims 10 to 15% more battery juice for the note.
http://tinyurl.com/74h85h2
It seems that Japanese batteries instead of Chinese batteries have more xxx on providing the claimed power or mah. If that is the case, there is other two interesting batteries to explore:
3000 MAH
http://tinyurl.com/6wohgsy
2900 MAH
http://tinyurl.com/6sayynn
Also, these two batteries cost more than other ebay offers of 2 batteries plus charger. That seems to say something too. I am tempted to try the 3000MAH. Right now I'm just getting 12 hrs with my use style. I would love to extend to 15-16 hrs. That would allow me for a typical work day.
Right now I'm using 4-AA Imedion batteries within a Gomadic charger. This allows me three days of extra power before needing to charge the AA.
I know for sure Andida have a good reputation, I dont know about these 2 others brand.
For sure I would like to know more if some forum user experimented already.
Sorry about posting the other options. I felt in the marketing hype. It seems that company (e-cell) is not selling Japanese brands and others with others phones beware of that.
So it seems we should stay with already proven brands like Andida, Anker and others. I will try Andida and let you know.

I bought 1 original Samsung Battery and one other "oem" that I never trusted. I'm about to buy that 3000mAh ...Did you try it?
Sent from my Xoom on EOS ICS Everest
No, I didn't. The thing is that if you search within the forum for the "Gold" battery from business batteries, you'll find that everybody say it is not Japanese battery to begin with and just hold around 80% of the marketed mah. That is less than original samsung. Other said it lost juice around the 10 charge. It seems that all batteries sold from e-cell in ebay have this problems. Getting a battery for a phone that is old maybe is ok, but since we are looking more power I think we should look somewhere else.
OTOH, it seems brands like Andida, Anker and Mugen are more recognized brands. I will try the Andida and hope to hear something around 3000mah from Mugen.
Don't try the gold battery!!!!! I had it with my HTC desire. Its an outright fake. If you tear off the gold sticker, its a really lousy cell with cardboard stuffed. Lower than OEM!
In fact, I had 2 of this ****. Shameful dispray!!
I purchased 2 batteries from China for 5$, free shipping.
First the China batteries are light, my digital scale says for the genuine Note battery 49 grams, an both chinese are 41 grams.
There is 8-9 grams less material to accumalate current.
And its true, chinese cheap ones last, full charged, 20% less than genuine.
For me its OK for that price, if i need extra power, the two chinese are in my pocket, as spare batteries.
so these extended batteries are same size as stock?

I recommend you don't try any of those. The gold one is as stated. For the Fei pu si, they have a track record with HTC desire as well.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1024470
Stick to Mugen and Anilda.
using it andida 2600mah almost 10 charges what i say bad then original. My ori batt from 100% to 99% around 15min on andida confirm less then 10min just normal browsing.
Guys I even tried Chinese battery and (as someone said) it's just lower in terms of weight. It even SMELLS...but works! Performance is about a 20/30% less instead of oem ones and I just leave it in case of an emergency.
About the "Gold" battery of e-cell, I don't really trust in a battery which seems powerful (in mAh) keeping the same shame! It's not logical, by the way I advice you to buy only Genuine OEM batteries and PERSONALLY I don't trust in sellers who say "genuine...oem...IN BULK". Original Samsung battrries are NOT in a bulk

first off this is a test to see how the battery does under max load, max setting and max capability condition. so before you say "O i can last 4 hours screen on time with my stock" well you dint test it like i did, my testing are as follow
-Brightness were on 100% the whole time
-stability test were run at 1.78ghz clock
-tune in radio were running and streaming 192kbp music
-navigation were on
-wifi were turned on but not use
-bluetooth were on but not use
-phone were put in the same spot throughout the test (signal vary from place to place so in order to eliminate that i put it at the exact same spot)

if you have battery with 4.2v and anker with 4.35v than its mean anker have bigger capacity than 4.2v
you must charge anker battery with proper 4.35v charger or use your phone to charge..if not then the charging process will be not maximum.
stock battery also have 4.35v
http://learn.adafruit.com/li-ion-and-lipoly-batteries/proper-charging
you must use a proper lithium ion/polymer*battery charger. The good news is that nearly all batteries you will encounter are going to be 4.2V. And you can use a 4.2V charger for both lithium ion and lithium ion polymer. If you ever encounter a 4.35V battery, you can always use a 4.2V charger: it'll charge it up to 4.2V which is perfectly safe.

Hyperion make quality battery too if you dont mind the bulkiness, the problem is we all get stick to "brand names" but in actuallity I bet all these battery are made from the same place...take a look at MUGEN they are base out of Hong kong too. Look at your OEM they are made in china too.
point is, buy a generic brand, do what the factory setting tells ya and you should have good battery life.

Def keep us updated! I just saw on their site that the extended battery is coming soon, can't wait! I bought one of their ext batteries for my original HTC Inc and that thing was a beast! It did add some hefty bulk to the phone but I didn't mind. Curious to see what the design will be for the S3. Hopefully nothing outrageous while keeping the beauty of the phone intact.

What's the highest capacity battery which doesn't require a change of back cover?

There are many suggestions about batteries in this sub-forum that span across many geographies. What is the maximum mAh battery available in the US that fits in the Note without any new back cover? Please suggest reliable sellers.

Hi there, after viewing the forum, I can safely say go for the Anker 2700mah from Ebay. The Gold batt which is rumoured to be 3000mah is unlikely to be true and similar to the Anker 2700mah in actual capacity. In this sense, the anker one is certainly more reliable since its a brand that I used since HTC G1.
Just my 2 cents, I know there are people who claimed the Gold batt outperforms the Anker. Frankly, I have both and they are really similar.

Thanks, Rambo. My understanding is that the Anker battery lasts only a little longer than the OEM battery, so I wonder if it is worth spending any amount to buy that Anker 2700mAh battery.
Could more people with experiences with other batteries provide input, too? Please suggest only those batteries that can fit inside the Note as is and do not require any new back covers.

But you don't need to change the back cover with the 3000 mah battery. However, IO bought a Gold 3050 mah battery and did not notice much difference from the stock.

I have the same question myself. After much search, I believe currently the highest capacity you can get without changing the back cover is the Gold 3500 mah. I do have one myself. The reviews in Amazon are very positive.

I'm using an Ecell Gold 3500mAh for about 3 weeks now. My standard charge cycle was every second day, now it is every third day most of the time.
After reading some of the comments here I am so confused. I thought gold batteries were just fake stock ones in capacity at best, and that the only reliable stock sized battery was the Anker 2700 mah one.
Now I see people saying that there are 3250mah batteries, which are stock sized and are awesome, and my inner voice is just telling me that it looks too good to be true. It's a pity that there isn't someone who can scientifically or at least with a bit more accuracy shed some light on this issue.

It is confusing. I think it's because there are some gold ones that do have a higher Mah (although probably not as high as advertised), and some don't.
I have bought this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008CYPL6Y/
The reviews are good, and it's not much money. Only on the first charge cycle but it seems to be lasting longer already. Will report back in a few days.

Review of Anker 60W 6-port desktop USB charger w/lots of pics!!!

This is a review of Anker 60W 6-port desktop USB charger. http://www.ianker.com/product/A2123111 , available on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00P936188/
It's very interesting how some gadgets become a very important part of our everyday life. I used to consider my smartphone, smartwatch, some headphones and audio players part of it, and now I added multi-port usb desktop charger to that list! When you have one or two devices to worry about - you can use individual wall charger. But considering an average household where you have at least 2-3 smartphones, a few tablets, wireless headsets, smartwatches, wireless speakers, portable video games, etc - you can end up covering every electric outlet with a wall charger spread around the house. A solution? Get yourself a multi-port desktop charger, preferably with an extended power chord for extra flexibility. Easy said than done because now you have to worry about being able to supply enough current to keep all the plugged in devices charging at the maximum speed. Do you want the best solution? Here is what I found.
I have reviewed Anker's previous 25W and 40W multi-port chargers, and also 60W charger from another company, but their latest 6-port 60W desktop USB charger simply the most efficient and compact solution to date. I'm not hyping it up, just stating the fact. You get a slick compact design, a bit larger than it's predecessors but still smaller and more compact than Bolse unit. You have a total of 60W of power which translates into 12A of current shared between 6 available full size USB ports. And the most important - PowerIQ technology which senses maximum sink of your connected device and sources up to 2.4A of current per port. Just keep in mind, you can't exceed a total of 12A, but still can have simultaneous connection of 5 latest iPads charging at full speed of 2.4A per port!!! Or combination of 6 different devices with up to 2A per port all at the same time.
This is just a no brainer, for under $36 you are getting the most powerful and compact desktop charger able to supply a whooping 12A of current across 6 smart ports. Plus, you are getting 18-month warranty and top notch support. Also, I want to mention that I appreciate how Anker is constantly trying to update their packaging to cut down on waste. This time they have instructions printed inside of external packaging sleeve - just brilliant! Overall, in my opinion this is one of those "must have" devices that you need in your house. I have 40W 5 port charger on the first floor of our house and this new 60W 6 port charger going upstairs to get us covered around the house.
Here are the pics.

Underpowered
I just test this 60W Anker, but unfortunately it was underpowered. My power banks draw much less current than if I'm using Samsung 2A wall charger. Anker claims that each port are capable of 2.4A, it's far from the truth. Now, I understand why reviewers didn't want test the outputs by using charger doctor.

I didn't use Charger Doctor because it's very inaccurate. As I mentioned in my Charger Doctor review, it's helpful to use it for relative comparison rather than accurate measurement. I'm actually a bit surprised you can read 2.14A from Samsung wall charger. Isn't that 2A charger? And they don't even supply exactly 2A but rather 1.8A due to efficiency conversion drop.
I'm gonna try to remember taking some measurements when I get back home, using both Sammy wall charger and Anker 60W charger and Charger Doctor.
Also keep in mind, the charger will provide (source) as much current as the connected device needs (sinks). Anker wall chargers and their ext batteries use smart IC that adjusts the current according to how much devices sinks. Have you run the same experiment charging up your phone or a tablet? Charging an external battery is NOT a good test because some batteries have variable charging speed preventing them from overheating and when it gets close to full, ext battery enters a trickle stage of a slow charging at reduced current.
Anker 60W 6-port vs Samsung 2A wall chargers
I agreed that this charger doctor might not accurate, but with Samsung 2A wall charger (ex-S4) and Xiaomi power banks (Input = 2A) it will show exactly 2.1A Proven by others as well :

The Sammy 2A wall charger charged faster (2A) than the Anker 60w (1.5A).
Instead using other cable, Mi powerbank will draw power best using cable that come with it, just try it using charger doctor.

Right, the original Mi cable is good can draw straight 2.1A but the durability is not so good.
How much noise do these things make?
With every chinacharger on the market I have had noise issues.
They make a very high squeeking noise which drives me insane at night.
It's difficult to hear if your just doing things or talking, but when it's quiet I hear a buzzing or a high squeaking noise.
Not compatible with Xiaomi power banks ?
I'm very grateful if you could test to recharge your Xiaomi power bank as mine only tops @1.5A :crying:

Sorry man, been busy with a lot of reviews.
I just tried it with different Anker chargers and Choetech and some other brands, and it always charges somewhere between 1.3A and 1.5A, not just Anker but others as well. They all use smart IQ charging chip, and I think Xiaomi bank has a variable charging speed, since I see the charging current varying. And as my original test showed, original Samsung wall charger gives the fastest charging speed.
