custom rom on Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 AI Edition

I would like to buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 AI Edition (please see the image in the attached file ), but is there a difference between this version and the pro version, is there any difference in the system version and the possibility of installing custom rom ?

yes there's difference in camera hardware between AI version and pro version but don't worry
but all custom rom here in xda works on both device it's Unified same oneplus 3 and 3t

only difference is in camera. rest everything same you can use same roms on all the whyred. they have same code as well.

I'm planning of getting one also, would like to know if the camera can be modded also? Such as camera 2 api.

Which is version of this phone? Whyred or Vince? Which ROM's Can I install? From this forum (Redmi Note 5 Pro or Redmi Note 5 / 5 Plus).
And could you tell me a few tips about this phone? Currently, I am using Redmi Note 3, but here is a strange functions like Antirollback etc.

Do not update your miui 9 after 9.5.17 if you wish to be on the safer side.
As long as you stay below miui 9 9.5.17 (& 8.7.5 in case of miui 10) you're safe and can change roms without any problem.

Whyred = Redmi Note 5 Pro for India / Redmi Note 5 everywhere else
Vince = Redmi Note 5 for India / Redmi 5 Plus everywhere else.

No, your device is whyred. You have a Snapdragon 636; Vince has Snapdragon 625. You have dual cameras, Vince is single camera.
If you install a ROM meant for a different device, you will have a nice new brick. Please, use only whyred ROMs on your device.

Can anyone make a port of the official Xiaomi Redmi Note 8/8T camera for the Pixel Experience Rom 10, i need it but there is only a camera app with one camera usable on the rom. In my case i have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T
