Hello!
I have a Verizon Galaxy Nexus and I need some help with putting it back on the right track. Fastboot doesn't recognize it in the bootloader.

Hello all,
I just got my new Galaxy Nexus and i want to root my phone.
I saw the CF-Root v5.1 and wanted to try it.
But now would like to know 2 things.
1. How can i see if my phone is OEM Unlocked
and
2. Do i need the GSM or the LTE version.
i guess it has to do with my provider so
my provider:KPN
country: the Netherlands
I just configured my whole phone and don't really like to reinstall it again
Thanks in advance,

1. If the bootloader is unlocked there will be a picture of an open lock under the Google logo when you boot up. But, if you didn't unlock it in fastboot, it will be locked. Rooting doesn't unlock it.
2. GSM
Be aware that unlocking your boot loader will completely wipe your phones memory. Your current setup will be lost
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Tanks everyone.
I sorted it all out and now got it up and running
First i had a little problem with the drivers, but i found and installed the bare naked drivers beta 0.5 (somewhere on xda) and it worked!
THANKYOUU!!!!

I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Nexus locked to a carrier running yakjuxw. Do i have to unlock my Samsung galaxy nexus to change it to Takju to get 4.2? Will unlocking it do something to my carrier? I currently am running android 4.1.1 yakjuxw and i really want the 4.2 update but i am scared to change it to takju because of it being locked to a carrier.
firmware is independent of SIM lock.
go ahead and flash.
It's not necessary.

Not necessary to sim unlock, but bootloader unlock is required.
Oh okay thanks you all I'm going to go change my yakjuxw to takju now wish me luck!
Hey guys!
When my phone -N2- boots I see a T-mobile animation after the samsung galaxy note 2 n7100 text. Does that mean I got a locked bootloader? I couldn't flash probam rom because of error status 7 which makes me think I have a locked bootloader. Is there any way that I can check my bootloader status?
Thanks!
Is anyone working on a bootloader unlock for the Verizon Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition? Obviously I'm prevented from installing TWRP :'(
