Hi Friends,
I'm trying to unloack my Z1C using the latest verson of flashtool and after connecting it in flashmode it will not display the window showing model numbers and display a window asking to switch off and connect again in flashmode.
I've tried it on 3 PC's, still not unlocked the Bootloader. What is the difference between unlocking bootloader from Sony official method and Flashtool method. Please guide me.
Regards
Shashi
Iirc the first unlock has to be done the official way, then you can (re)lock using flashtool. And the correct drivers have to be installed of course.

[Q] bootloader unlock allowed: no - Xperia Play what ROM options are possible

what for mod options are available at a R800i with a locked bootloader.
i have tryed to open it with flashtool but without success
official unlock is not possible i know
i would like switch to CM but without open bootloader - no chance.
which alternative products would be possisble
sorry for my bad english
Try unlocking the bootloader with the testpoint method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2187172
Xperia Play test points: http://i.imgur.com/bY6qdBh.jpg
I have "Bootloader unlocke Status: No" as well, but this method worked for me. But since it won't have fastboot, you will need to flash custom kernels via Flashtool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2739559
But if that doesn't work, then get yourself rooted and install this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pvy.CWMinstaler&hl=en
This will install a custom recovery which will allow you to flash ROMs that allow locked bootloader.
so wait, to unlock the bootloader on an R800at you have to take the phone apart??? (thought it would be like on an HTC Evo V when I had to short 2 contacts with a paperclip, the contacts were exposed when you removed the battery cover....

[Q] Can't unlock Xperia M bootloader

I'm unable to unlock my Xpeira M Single Sim Bootloader. I have checked in the service menu that it is unlockable and I also have a unlocking key but when I connect my phone in flashmode it says that "Your phone bootloader cannot be officially unlocked". What should I do?

Install custom ROM or root with out unlock bootloader

Hi my Sony Xperia xa2 say bootloader unlock no is there anyway to force software or at least root with out unlock bootloader thanks
This is not possible. In order to flash anything to the device, the bootloader must be unlocked. The whole point of the bootloader lock is to prevent flashing anything; firmware is updated via OTA.
