Nameless kernel r14 test version for non treble
Dark moon kernel is stock is comes readily with the ROM

Any treble based rom with moxie 5.1 kernel.
I'm using AEX 5.8 + Moxie 5.1 kernel
I can easily play 5 matches with smooth graphics and high fps with battery temps under 45°

Dude heating will be there if you play while charging
The only ROM I can suggest u is cardinal aosp I guess it's the fastest out there is developed by ppl who developed citrus
So same kernel basically
U won't need any enhancements here except GPU boost GPU driver update and boosts and cooling mod
Always non treble is better than treble roms in terms of performance
Rr is treble rom
Try cardinal
If ur feeling lag in bootleggers

I have only 4 roms currently that I can suggest
All are non treble
Cardinal aosp
Modded nitrogen os
Bootleggers
Jaguar Oreo ( if u don't want volte)
Speedy roms are cardinal bootleggers jaguar
Maybe jaguar is the speedest I uninstalled long back so I don't remember coz it didn't had volte
Currently I'm on bootleggers and satisfied with its pubg performance
I play on balanced settings in 1080p
Occasional stutters
If u want performance play on 540p any one of these can play at med settings without stutters at a good frame rate
Search in roms section for links
I will only give u cardinal aosp link for now
https://sourceforge.net/projects/ca...0-OREO-z2_plus-OFFICIAL-20180818.zip/download

No heating with GPU driver update
Use it to get better frame rates
You'll have better frame rates at 540 p ( stock ) obviously
And even use GPU boost mod magisk module

Cardinal ROM has minute bugs
Try modded nitrogen os
I know GPU boost doesn't help much
But it'll change some lines in build prop to increase GPU performance
It's in magisk module downloads

Mokee is best..I've been using it for long time...right now I'm using cyanide...which has some criticalbugs bugs...gps not working...but it's the best customized Rom so far for redmi 1s. AICP Rom is also good. Mokee is best with God's kernel latest version.

SLIM 6 is where your search ends.
Marshmallow roms almost are same just 5%-30% different from each other in matter of performance, battery, mods compatibility and almost all roms has it. There are so many workarounds people claiming that they r not having them now by adding music player(and related mods if any) to battery optimization or Use custom kernel (set cores to 2 online while screen off or disable hotplug). And by far after using almost all roms and kernels i have settled with this config MiUi multi rom 6.7.7 + Phantom kernel v7 + Viper4Android+Project X crystal sound so far I'm getting 12H standby+3H SOT I'm medium to heavy user. You can also try LP roms (Especially Flyme most beautiful rom for redmi 1s) they are best but not updated coupled with gods or xcelerate is great. If you want only MM try Mokee MM(almost bug less).

Well , Exodus is the smoothest and fastest mm ROM for redmi 1s. It's fast and fluid. Moreover no audio suspemd bug is there on stock kernel of this ROM. It's feature rich too.but believe me I have tetsed it for 3-4 months and it's the best ROM in terms of fluidity and speed. Second choice is slim which is still under development

Stability and performance of oreo based roms?

Are the available oreo based rom better than the viper os 3.1.1 based on 7.1.2 wrt to battery life, performance and heating?
And can cam2 api be enabled on viper 3.1.1?
Nope...none of the oreo roms are better than it.

Yes you can enable camera 3 api on Viper. I have used Viper for a long time, it is really good I thing that it has been the longest time with out changing the rom. But the last 2 versions of AEX are realy realy good, i cant say better but realy close.I currently use aex, because I like tu have the latest software, even if I don't use the new features. Aex had some very big issues with performance, but they are fixed now.

Try nitrogen OS.. as smooth if not more than viper.. march security patches.. looks wise as well just like viper.. very good rom.. negligible heating.. dev is same as well for both jneto3000 .. i did not stay as i have weak network in my area and custom roms already suffer from weaker signal as compared to stock plus no video call in volte.. so had to go back to stock but definitely a good rom

And this enables the camera2 API? I don't need to flash anything else?
Can you tell me where you found the zip (like a thread or a website or something).

Hey the best rom is noughat
Mi & 1+ are most stable & no bugs
If any bugs are there the maintainers can mix the rom.
For me the rom i awesome & perfect for me

Best perfomance ROM/kernel for whyred

I using Pixel Experience with stock kernel, any suggestion? Try to use other kernels but no effect or i finding bad. Or i got bad benchmark (Antutu)
Doesn t matter if Oreo/Pie version, i like overlocking and thanks for help
Havoc OS 2.0.. Better , faster and so much beautifull than Ressurrection Remix or any other ROM. Also battery is amazing
How much points you for in Antutu benchmark? Do you recommend me some fast kernel?

Can't install Antutu on my phone, it ask me to install Antutu 3DBench, but on the playstore it tell's me that my phone isn't compatible, i'm on the latest MIUI Global. Any idea ?
Yeah the 3dbench is a required separate to download addon for the 3dbenchmarks. Try getting them both from here but ensure that the version number for both base apk and the 3dbench apk is same.
https://www.apkmonk.com/app/com.antutu.ABenchMark/
And, https://www.apkmonk.com/app/com.antutu.benchmark.full/
BTW the app might be showing incompatible on your playstore likely due to some edits made to your buildprop or regional settings, are you on official global miui or some modded one? Asking cause on official and xiaomi.eu I haven't faced such problems ever.

Uninstall others mods like akt, lkt, nfs etc and also reset kernel tuning apps to default settings before flashing.

I'm gonna try with the APK, i'm on a fresh (and clean) install of the official MIUI global ROM, 10.2, magisk installed but not mods yet.
i also tried to change region (U.S/FR/CHN) nothing change for the playstore app.
Edit: The only zip that change my buildprop is the camera2api enabler, could it be that ?
Edit²: i tried to flash the latest official with the MIUI updater, to reset the Buildprop, still the same won't let me install it. Anyway, thank you for the Kernel, i'm trying it

Try RR v7.0
I have tried several custom ROMs and so far I have found RR v7.0 Pie ROM the most stable and smooth ROM.

You found RR to be stable? Went from PE to RR, and the performance drop significantly. Used Pixel experience with built in Derp kernel, havent found anything smoother.

RR did the job for me. I am taking about the latest PIE ROM. Oreo was slow for me. I didn't like the PE ROM much.
Dear friends, I have a question: -Which is the best on the battery ???

I have limited experience with ROMs. So please wait for people who has tested more ROMs for better feedback.
I always prefer using Custom ROMs as stock as possible. I don't ROOT or add any extra custom modification, like battery management or such extra stuff.
I have seen MiUi feels bit sluggish but gives excellent battery back-up, especially if you don't game. Productivity wise, it felt 40/50% better than most other ROMs & I guess additional battery management apps & mods (underclocking CPU/GPU, reducing system animation levels, etc) may even double that.
Thanks

Arrow Oreo last version or crdroid last version with prototype 3.18 kernel.. definitely give upto 2 days when combined with akt battery saver profile and balanced on spectrum..
Deep CAF pie also good.. can easily give upto 2 day back up of not much usage.
I recently moved away from jag Oreo latest as off screen drain was 1% - 1.2% per hour even after a week of letting it "settle"..
I don't keep WiFi/location/ WiFi scanning on at all... Just regular stuff that have on my phone..

Both are old treble roms .. you need to do f2v and use old treble twrp if you have flashed recent pie ROMs..
Attached both for you here just in case.. extract.. flash f2v then twrp.. reboot to recovery.. flash f2v again and reboot to recovery.. good to go

Not sure now.. Are you able to see vendor or factory partition in twrp?? If not then qfil is the only way forward I think. Your picture is too blurred .. Can't see anything..
