One question. If I want to switch between beta to Stable rom how can i know if the version is more recent than other because the number of version doesn't have the same logical for the version number ?

No bugs,
May/02 Version is the third version and very stable! May be the next version is the open beta version
As title.
I have wrongly installed the Beta 8.1 OPP6.171019.012 version...
Will this cause some problem on my phone?
Can I step back to the stable 8.1 OPP6.171019.011 version?
Thanks
You likely won't have many issues, I was using the BETA before the 8.1 release and it was very stable. It certainly won't hurt your phone.
ok thanks
So I know that right now to go back to stable from the beta you'll need to use the rollback release and then wipe (blah blah blah); but what I'm really wondering is this: so say that I join the beta. Whenever the stable Oreo finally releases, would I be able to flash the new stable Oreo over the beta? Or would I need to do a wipe? Also, would the last Oreo beta be a "stable", or would that channel just be beta until the support for the phone is dropped? Sorry for the dumb questions, just really couldn't find an answer.

I have another question, will they keep releasing beta versions now that there is a stable version out? Really my question is that is there any reason to stay on the beta builds, now that there is a stable release.
I would think that there would be more beta releases, otherwise why would they release ob3, then a day later release the stable?

I don't think the stable build rolling out now has all the features that the open beta 3 has. I assume the beta builds are still going to continue and be pertinent.
Hi Guys,
I just saw this article releasing the file updates to be done in the System Updates of our MI MIX 2 Settings.
piunikaweb[.]com/2019/10/25/mi-6-mi-mix-2-miui-11-stable/
Has anyone tried this?
I have the global version 10.3.5 stable as of the moment, I want to know if there's someone who literally tried upgrading their MI MIX 2 to MIUI 11 China Version
Thanks
i saw those treads but i didnt find the option,in that blog we have to choose the update file under settings.....system update.....even i was wondering the same if it works or not.
I'm running Xiaomi.eu which is based on China version. I'm on 9.10.24 and this is miui 11. Everything works fine for me.

I'm confused. So you're right now on 9.10.24 but you didn't tried upgrading to 11 yet? Am i understanding you correctly?
Because my question is that if some guys here from the global version used this kind of file from the chinese version and upgrade their MIUI to 11 from china version same as provided in the article, also how did it worked out? I mean feedbacks or anything like that on MIUI 11.

9.10.24 is miui 11 but beta version. There is a stable version also available. Check out Xiaomi.eu
Will it is a wise decision to flash MIUI china beta rom from MIUI indian global rom??
Why to do this ?
as global rom is not regularly updated
IMHO, It's not worth it ! If the phone is working fine now, leave it that way !

well I tried chinese beta rom few weeks back because I just have a nack for beta versions lol..anyway..the only thing I had to deal with was the huge amount of bloatware(even more than global roms)..full of chinese crap..and even file manager and themes app ask for IMEI and IMSI permissions...also it doesn't have google apps installed so you have to flash gapps separately(not an issue for me though)..now if you wanna stay on china rom then I recommend uninstalling all the bloatware and even file manager and then use file manager by xiaomi.inc from play store(or any other file manager)..Only other issue you will face is all the bloatware will come back after updating your rom so you have to remove everything and flash gapps all over again..
For this reason I suggest you use some other miui based rom preferably EU[no not the stock eu... find eu rom here](stable or beta is your choice)..EU stable rom is based on china stable and beta one is based on china beta. It'll have all features of china rom, debloated and much more customization, tweaks and optimization..other miui based roms include miui mix,mi room,mi novo, revolution os miui.
Hope it helps.
