Hi
After my Samsung J5 went on a trainride, I bought the A520F. I installed TWRP 3.2.1. and flashed official lineage rom 14.1 for A520 accordeon to the instructions.
Then I flashed su64 addon. No root, Then I flashed uninstall su64 addon. I then flashed SU addon. But still no root.
How do I get root? Afterwards I want to install magistik.

I used to have magisk installed before i went to 6.0, i lost it when upgrading to Renegade MM 6.0. Now when trying to install Magisk via app and update version i get errors. See screen shots.. any hrlp much apprecisted.
I recently rooted and installed TWRP on my oneplus3.
There is a stock update available for my phone: OxygenOs 4.1.0.
TWRP seems to block the automated install and based on what I read on their website I shouldn't install it that way.
Can I download the stock ROM from h2os and safely install it with TWRP? I wanted to ensure this wouldn't cause issues
can we install magisk having a nougat custom pre rooted rom already flashed ???
I'm running a custom rom but cannot get magisk to work. I've done everything discussed in that rom's thread to get root but no success.
Does anyone know of a custom rom for the 2 XL that installs with magisk or SuperSU included?
Just to get more info, after flashing the rom and twrp zip, you boot into the os at least once before going back and flashing Magisk right?
lineage rom could be rooted natively. you doesn't need to install magisk to obtain root
Hey guys, currently I'm on 12.1.2.0RJDMIMX with unlocked bootloader, rooted with magisk and TWRP installed. May I know the steps to update to the latest 12.5.1.0.RJDMIXM without losing data and root?
Back then when I was using OnePlus, the procedure to update while rooted was
Download latest update
Boot to TWRP
Flash Magisk Uninstaller ( not sure if this was necessary but did it anyways )
Flash the new update
Install latest Magisk
Reboot
Is the procedure same as for MIUI? Thanks in advance!
