Hi,
I have very annoying issue in my Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
I'm running LiquidSmooth 3.1 (4.4.4 KitKat) ROM.
Cutting to the chase, when I'm recording video (through stock app or google camera from Play store) my phone records right channel audio very well (bottom microphone). Unfortunately audio recorded by top mic (left channel; camcorder mic) is very looooow on volume.
Example: I record a video, then I upload it on my computer, starts playing it - I can hear audio in right speaker, left one seems totally quiet. When turning volume up to the max, I can hear audio in left speaker but it's still very quiet.
I thought it's just video recording problem, but I tested it with Easy Voice Recorder Pro - when recording mono, everything is fine. When recording stereo - same issue as while recording videos.
Does anybody encountered same issue? Is it software issue, maybe whole ROM related? Or is it hardware issue?
Thanks

Well, not especially rom related, but all AOSP, CM etc. seem to have those sound issues atm. If it is important for you, consider a TW rom.

Okay, thanks for answer.
Is it happening to everyone or just some unlucky people?

It is very common issue for all users, as I said: atm=at the moment. Even phone calls can suffer from mic troubles.
One important thing: It might be solved already lately or in the next hours or days. Read in the threads
On Poweramp, it's very less noticeable bc of it's grand processing power but on every other media platform like YT, Spotify, Deezer, SoundCloud it's very irritating like an RF disturbance. Ruins the listening experience. If you're not able to notice it in songs then play any non-music YT video while the enhancer is turned on, you'll immediately and apparently notice. Please tell me a solution to this.
Same. It's definitely a software issue as I been listening to a podcast in Podcast Addict on headphones without any crackling and then it gets triggered when I go to check an email or something similar on the phone. Other times it seems to be there from the start of a listening session. Does it stop for you if you turn off the enhancer? I'll have to check to see if mine is on. I get it across speaker and headphones.
I face that problem what is the solution for that plse tell me..any solution there plse tell me

I bought a s20 ultra with 128gb and the sound is really great on usual apps(YouTube, Spotify any other app) but with the tiktok app i got only crackling and squizuing sounds like poor connection quality, when I download the video from tiktok the sound problem is gone. So I thought it is a software problem from tiktok. But now I noticed on a video on a webpages (newspaper) the sound crackling was there again. So what could be the problem? Tried to deactivate ADP and Dolby Atmos but the problem is still there. What could be the problem?
So I got the phone yesterday. Very exciting experience to be honest. But there's something that I don't quite understand. When I play a YouTube video, a song or whenever the stereo speakers are used, they make a strange continuous sound or something, it's not loud, it's just there. I don't know if this is the way it works on all these phones, or should I go and change it for another one. Please let me know if all of you guys have this sound of nothing coming from the stereo speakers.
I'm getting the strange sound as well when the speakers are used. Its pretty much there regardless on what volume I'm on (Except 0 volume of course) but it stops when I pause a video/music. Then when I start playing again, the sound starts to come back.

it is dolby atmos problem you don't like that noise , going to sound option and turn off the dolby atmos.
Hmm... No problem at all with my device (stock MIUI 12.0.5.0 Global), with or without Dolby Atmos.
I suggest further testing with apps such this:
Function Generator
I have same problem with my F3, weird noise while using Dolby Atmos on speakers, did not check on headset.
No issue when Atmos is off.
Hello, Xiaomi pad 5 owners,
I have a problem when I connect my bluetooth headset to my pad 5, the problem is the sound gets interrupted (I don't know if I have used the right expression) and that's annoying me!
If you didn't get it, it's like:
She works at nights, by th'e'e'e'e water
She’s gone astray, so far away
From her fat'a'aher’s daughter
I hope anyone help me!
Note: The headset is working very well on my Huawei Nova 5t without any problems.
Try with another music player.

Unfortunately, it's happening with any app not just music playes.
When I tried Apple airpods (Original) there wasn't any problem, but unfortunately it's not mine.
reinstall miui or check if you install anything on the last few days.
