Hi,
I recently purchased a Huawei Honor Band Zero smartwatch and pairing it with the P8000 is a pain in the ass. I may have tried around 100 times (no exaggeration) and I managed to get it just once. But then, once I got too far from the phone while wearing the watch and it disconnected, I haven't been able to pair the two again.
I've tried with my previous phone, a Xiaomi Redmi 1S, and they pair every time in seconds. Then I can send data from the watch to the phone, and setup the watch from the phone.
I asked @BlueFlame4, author of the visi0nary kernel, whether this could be solved at the kernel level (along with other bluetooth related issues, such as music skipping over BT) and he thinks that maybe the BT stack is messed up, but the solution could be hard to achieve.
Well, today I've been trying again and have discovered a difference between the Redmi 1S and the P8000. When I turn on BT on the Redmi 1S, the watch appears as both a known and paired device. If I tap the device's settings button I can see an input device profile I can activate or not on the phone, such as BT headsets showing audio and voice profiles or options to share phone contacts. Well, on the P8000, I see no box to set up the watch as an input profile. But I remember seeing it the only time the watch paired correctly with the phone.
How can this be possible? Any way (the phone is rooted, so I can do almost anything) to get it working like it does with the Redmi 1S?
Thanks.

Hi there,
I am using the elephone p8000 and would like to use a notification watch.
Right now I have the mi band which is good, but a bit ugly and not able to show the time.
That's why I was looking for a watch that would vibrate when a call was incoming.
My first try was the cogito watch classic but apparently the Bluetooth didn't work good together.
Now I am about to order the Elephone w2.
Does anyone have any experience with that combo or has another idea for a rather simple notification watch that is working with this phone?
Thanks in advance
I have a martian smart watch this seems to work fine with the p8000

Thx for the feedback. I hope that there is no problem with watches I'm general then and that the w2 will work.
No loudspeaked
Hi,
Due to one bug you will not be able to use BT loud speaket, call's will not be transfered when two bloutooth device connected same time.

Oh wtf?
Hi,
I have that watch now and am more or less happy with it. More because it seems to be working, less because it really lacks the vibration on new notifications for me.
That is all I'd need from a "smart" / notification watch, but I don't get it in the w2.
And as the bluetooth apparently is really bad and my last other watch wasn't working, I won't check other watches on the P8000 anymore and wait unitl I have another phone.

I use a Huawei watch with P8000 and it works perfectly.
Oh, would you mind telling which one exactly?

There is only 1 Huawei watch. Different cases/straps but internal hardware is same throughout. Had a LG Watch R before and this also worked. No problems using watch for notifications and car Bluetooth for calls simultaneously.
Ok thx
I've been using a Huawei Honor Band Zero for months. In the beginning it didn't work with the P8000 but did ok with other phones. It was solved after Huawei released the first firmware upgrade (there have been around 6 more updates after the first one). No problems with calls, since the Honor Band Zero doesn't have a microphone and only allows you to reject calls, and not answer them. It's more like a Mi Band but with wristwatch functions and appearance
Can you tell something about that watch? Is it good with vibrations when receiving also WhatsApp and so on?
Hi, right more I have a Moto 360 2nd gen and it works like a charm. Just for reference if somebody is looking into that thread
Greetings all, does anyone run into problem to connect two bluetooth earbuds and they play at once? Because i've bought new bluetooth wireless headsets, that supports bluetooth 5.0 but my Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro wont connect both headsets at one time, i mean won't play music at the same time, is there any solution for that? I pair the two headsets without any problem, but i have music only in one, not both in the same time.
Help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!
Have u find any solution?
My Bluetooth is acting weird too.... working with media and calls but not with viber , messenger....
That happened to me too.
But it wasn't the phone problem but it were the earphones issue, i just simply factory reset them and it worked.
My earphones Haylou GT1 pro.
I hope it helped
