Where to buy?

Hi y'all
This device is the one I should have waited for.. I jumped in and got a Mi Mix 2 about 3 months ago.. But coming from a Huawei Media Pad X2 it feels very small. I want the Mi Max 3...where is the best place to get one at the best price and shipped quickly to the United Kingdom? I want the 6gb/128gb model. My ceramic 8gb/128gb Mi Mix 2 should more than cover the cost

EGlobalCentral.UK ordered mine from there, 4/64gb €244 with code SAVE559 . 1 week estimated shipping.

Wondering if Mi Max 2 feels very small how is Mi Max 3 going to feel any different!? Don't let bigger diagonal screen size fool you. The difference is for the software buttons which Mi Max 2 doesn't need....
Overall don't think you'll feel it any bigger... If I recall it correctly screen width is 1.3mm smaller on 3.

I have a xiaomi Mi Mix 2 currently using gesture control. (No on screen buttons)

I'm looking for a while the mi max 3 128.
But today, it seems very difficult to find one on retail store...
Or at very expensive Price. 64gb=240$ best price, 128gb=380$!!!!
What's the probleme? Any Idea? It's very difficult to got one. On aliexpress, impossible to find one...

Yeah, weird thing about that model. One day I bought one from some AliExpress seller, 2 days later it went from 310$ to 380$. Guess I bought it just in time.

Xiaomi don't release and seems to not release global rom for 6GB.
And Xiaomi want to blocked the possibilities to flash global rom, on a chinese device....

I disagree.... Only 128gb device got an expensive Price... Not the 64GB... So...

Do not buy mi max 3.The phone is ni upgrade from mi max 2.i am really disappointed about this phone.More than month, and this thing is too big.Camera is not very good.To this moment i gave 6 7 xiaomi phones, and this one is biggest ****.

Someone is salty.
I find the Max 3 to be one of the best phones I've had so far. But this is coming from someone that loves big screen / battery phones.

I agree... I got the three Mi Max. The third is clearly the best one.

I've the 2 and love it. Have just ordered the 6/128 from tradingschenzen as the bigger screen area, better camera and faster proc are all really appealing. My only worry is the lack of custom roms (currently rocking msm extended and love it on the 2) but once I can root for adblock, afwall and debloating I'll be happy.

But as long as I can root, got Adblock, and youtoube Vanced... Eventually a custom kernel for Oc... I'm happy.

New Roms

Hi, i've been on holiday for a week, and now i find the roms section full of new ones. Have i missed something? One year without roms and now a ton in a week?
And... Is there a better choice or at least a comparison list? I don't know which one ti chiose
I am currently on AOSIP, fully working, except GCam, the only thing i really miss....

I think that its because leaked xiaomi have anounced that mi max familly will be discontinued and now devs is interesting on mi max 3 for develop roms because no max 4 soon

I have 4/64 and i order a 6/128 blue for 200 bucks in case that we dont have an alternative to this 10/10 device

The battery of Active 2 how much hours then Active 1 do?

I think it is not a good idea. I bought the GWA 2 because I need the big size 44mm. If I needed the size 42mm , I'd buy the GWA 1. it's the same practically.

Although I can't speak of gwa1, what I can say is that the battery life in gwa2 44mm is excellent, much better than what I was reading on reviews. Lasts at least three full days, sometimes 4,even lasted more once I tried to stretch it..

With the software update difference between two models is not large in everyday usage.
- AW2 does have speaker which can be useful not just for calls , but aslo for alarms and reminders
- AW 2 have improved sensors
- AW 2 have little bit larger screen / smaller besel
- AW 2 have larger battery
Nevertheless, price of AW 2 is main determinating factor. In my country difference is almost 100€, so it's easy to decide :cyclops:

Mi Mix 2 Special Edition LCD

Hey there,
For the first time I broke a smartphone screen, and it's the one from my beloved Mi Mix 2 Special Edition.
The problem is I can't find a replacement screen that sais "Mi Mix 2 special edition". I know this phone is an abbreviation of the normal Mi Mix 2, but the outer measurements differ ( 151,8*75,5*7,7mm vs 150,5*74,6*7,7mm ), though i was wondering if that is only for the full phone, and the LCD might be the same. I tried the Mi live chat (which is a not so useful bot) and via email to Xiaomi global (no reply since days).
So, does anyone here know as a fact whether the normal Mi Mix 2 LCD will fit or not?
Any help is much appreciated.

That's interesting, cause I got confirmation from a repair store that the displays match. We will see when it arrives (in about 6 weeks)

Hi there, i found this online and i was wondering if the mix2 screen match the limited special edition you have. i have the same model mix2 phllipe stark edition and the screen was broken and i could not get any help from xiaomi service since the production is out of the market. i was wondering if the standard mi mix2 screen you ordered fit your phone. it will be appreciated to get your answer.
