I have a problem trying to delete saved wi-fi networks on the device. It is missing an option to "forget" the network. I have tried resetting the network settings and also factory reset. However the saved networks will not be deleted. Please help me.

Hi, I've just flashed the Android Revolution HD 3.3 rom and 12.41.60.19_26.06.04.14_M radio.
I noticed that I was not able to use data connection until I manually enter the APN for my network provider.
Back when I was using the stock rom, it used to load APN settings automatically when I put in the sim card (I have two sim card from different networks, when I switch the cards, the APN settings changes automatically). I was wondering if there's anyway to make this rom do the same thing?
If not, this is not a big problem when I'm in town, as I can enter both networks APN and choose them manually instead.
However, will I'll need to research into APN for other networks before I travel? What happens to the APN settings while I'm on roaming?
===
Edit: In case this matters: I am in Hong Kong, using CSL and 3.
Edit2: both provides are in the apns-conf.xml file, somehow the APN still aren't switching automatically
hi
I'm using above device with 4.1.2 but having this issue with Gmail, Facebook YouTube etc on network data whereas I am able to browse normally on opera or but Wifi but no other browser.
I've tried all fixes I know of
- reset date and time
- factory reset X2
- editing hosts file
please help
You need to make sure apn settings are correct for your carrier.
Thanks
APN settings have been verified. BTW I am able to browse on data network, howbeit it only works on opera...
If after installing a new rom and find that your mobile data doesn't work, go to Settings/Connections/More Networks/
Access Point Names. If there is nothing written, simply Google (your carrier name) APN settings. After finding them, manually insert them into the empty spaces. If completed correctly, providing there isn't a problem within the kernel, your mobile data will start working almost immediately (providing you remembered to switch it on)
I hope this helps others that face the same problem.
Hi Guys
Many of you might be facing issues with connecting to mobile data on lollypop Rom,
I too faced the same issue so I installed AOSP Rom by agent47 link
You might have also tried using this but many failed to connect to data.
So I will tell you the procedure to connect to data.
1. Go to Sim Card Settings and Select your sim for Data [Sim 2 Recommended]
2. Now Go to Network Settings and Create an APN Profile for the your sim and activate Sim.
3. Now pull down notification bar and activate data. (you will see no data conection)
4. So go to network settings and switch the sim from 3g to 2g and vice versa untill the sim which you are using for data goes on 2g
5. Remember that if you are using data on sim2 then at first sim2 should be on 3g network so that when you will switch the sim1 network, sim 2 will automatically switch to 2g.
6. Now turn data on/off bu pulling down the notification bar.
7. And see...mobile data working

Whenever I type a password and connect to a WiFi network , the password is forgotten as soon as I turnoff WiFi. I tried looking it up and some people said it has something to do with efs . If it's corrupted, how do I fix it? And if there's an another solution , your help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Is your phone set up to backup data to Google? In other words, is the backup option in Settings enabled and an account selected?
If not, set it up. Also delete cache and data from Google Backup Transport and restart your phone.
