I am using Global Stable ROM v9.6.1.0, the Quick Snap Mode in MIUI Camera disappears. Is there any MOD that can enable the Quick Shot Mode?
I have replaced the MIUI Camera app come with the global stable rom with that from Chinese rom, the quick snap mode appeared again.
Work with MIUI 10 global stable.

You can use Root Explorer or other similar apps to replace MiuiCamera.apk under /system/priv-app/MiuiCamera with the attached file. You must have your phone rooted for this operation.

Hi, this is not my gcam and not my xml files, I only share 2 gcam tested by me (in android 10 custom rom and gsi) and fully working.
Thanks for the users who shared (happymilkman_ teftel and other user in Sakura group).
How to use xml files:
Make a folder in internal storage named : GCam
Inside that folder make another named : Configs7
In that folder put the xml files inside.
In gcam double click next to shutter button and choose your xml config and click in restore.
Finalstable xml is for revolt gcam.

Excellent! I found that the "Revolt-7.0(PiTG)" version works best for me using AOSiP 9.0 rom. I had to switch off the "portrait.depthdata" and switch on "mod.use_portrait_fix_format" and "portrait.allow_raw_blur" settings in Developer Settings because the portrait using front cam was giving a completely blurred photo. I used "FinalStable.xml" as the base config.

Of course it does need Cam2API. If that isn't activated they it could FC.

Isn't working for me on aosip pie, did u flash some fix?
revolt is working good for me on stock android 10
I'm using the Revolt version and it works just fine on Android 10 (I was one of the lucky guys where the OTA went without a hitch).
One question I have: is there any way to influence the image file name?
Yesterday I took a pic using the portrait setting and the photo was called "00100sPORTRAIT_00100_BURST20200325173925842_COVER.jpg".
I'd like to be able to change this to for example IMG_yyyymmdd-hhmmss.jpg or something equally simple.
Thanks in advance.
im using revolt too its working,, but sadly lastnight when silence day im tried to captured a milky way on this phone and not working lol (tried on night shot/astrofotography)
and all Raw files is broken when i put it on adobe lightroom.
well i think its time to buy a new phone lol~

Enable camera2api via temporary root and unlock bootloader. Otherwise, GCams won't work.

I use Parrot043 GCAM 7.3.020.
Front camera is working with following settings:
HDR+ you need to disable (display) flashlight
no HDR* with enabled (display) flashlight
No FC on stock android 10. But SlowMotion seems to be broken. Stock cam works, but with GCAM 5/6/7 video is stuttering.

No solution at the moment.
I'm having some issues with both cams and xml. I'm on stock 9.
The slow motion 120fps (1/4) freezes a lot of time. And when I set the 240fps (1/8) the app crash.
I already tried to reinstall the apps and didn't work... as far I remember both (1/4 and 1/8) works fine. I already rebooted the phone, nothing. The Manual Camera Compatibility app show all list ok...

xiaomi eu latest build is supported. if magisk module not working then just rename the original apk file with any other extensions for backup and copy the files from miuiCamera folder of the module to the respective folder in system partition.
Hey there, can anyone provide the screenshot of manual mode in video recording page? Thanks!

Working perfectly on latest Miui Eu beta Rom..Just copied all the given files to folders using root and after that I unrooted my device
i cannot flash it on magisk im running xiaomi Eu lastest beta
Works on my MI 9T Pro running MIUI 12.2 (20.9.10 beta) xiaomi.eu.
Had to do the manual install, Magisk Manager gave an Installation Failed error.
Everything but the long exposure mode seems to be working, when I try to take a long exposure photo the app crashes.
It's a very good app to take RAW images with every lens. Thanks!
I don't know if it's possible or not but I have my POCO F3 with the evolution x rom but even with the GCam I still prefer the stock camera that I had with MIUI is there any way that I can install the stock app camera to have full control on the sensors? Thanks in advance for any help

I tried to see what version is used on my phone and I believe it is this one (4.3 85MB), maybe that works? It could also be that you need to install it as an system app over recovery or so.

I am not sure but seems likely.
Maybe the following links help to get a better understanding. As I am using the stock rom and tweaked (rooted) all to my liking I have no need to do so myself
post on reddit (Can I install Xiaomi camera app as default on Custom ROM?)
post on xda (MIUI Stock Camera application)
Seems that this camera port is worth checking -> https://camera.aeonax.com/

Glad to help and be sure to not overlook the following link I just added in the previous reply https://camera.aeonax.com/
long story short will not work on poco F3 custom rom why post all this crap?
Sorry for the bump - I just got this phone, flashed ArrowOS on it and I'm trying to find ways to use the extra cameras of my device; neither the default Camera on this custom ROM nor GCam can apparently access them.
ANXCamera, indeed, doesn't flash properly. The F3 isn't in the list of supported models as far as I can see either.
Is there a recommended camera app for these features, or a specific pacage of the MIUI default camera app I could flash on my ROM these days? Thanks!

Try this Gcam: https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-bsg/f/dl75/
and use this XML (needs to be placed in /storage/emulated/0/GCam/Configs8):
Config Files for BSG 8.1
Stable settings for BSG 8.1 with xml config files support.
www.celsoazevedo.com
You might have to manually enable Camera 2 and 3 in Settings=>modules=>whitelist

I just realized that the Camera version installed on my F3 running MIUI 13.0.8 seems to be older than what can be found on other APK websites, could you please confirm your current camera Version?
Mine is 4.3.003960.5

I *think* we are not supposed to manually update the MIUI Camera ourselves, but rather I think we should let the ROM handle it.
It works, but one time I updated to a MIUI Camera version and it had a Leica-Theme (White/Red UI Theme). That specific version was probably meant for that one Xiaomi phone with Leica-branded camera.
Also another time I noticed that a MIUI Camera update I installed, had Quick Snapshot Mode removed. The feature where you could press Volume-Down for ~4 seconds while screen is off, to take a picture.
But yes, I think we by default run older MIUI Camera version.
To be honest tho, I think you can just go ahead and update it, if you want. ^^
