Hi Guys,
I just wanted to share my own framework-res.apk with you. I recommend using spare parts to slow down animations. This apk is only tested on Doc's RomKitchen Rom 9.5.5. (XWJS8) on a german Samsung I9000 Galaxy S ;-)
Disclaimer:

Features:
-less fade in/out than stock
-more zoom/scale in/out than stock
Known Bugs:
-little graphic glitch after lockscreen(just fixing it right now!)
+ keyboard anim not working ;(
Installation Instrucions :
-copy repackaged-unsigned3.apk to your sdcard
-rename it to "framework-res.apk"
-copy to /system/framework
-phone should do a short restart (no reboot)
-new framework should be activated
All in all: No Revolution but work in progress!

First i have stopped my project from porting the Darkyrom from Galaxy S to our Gio's But not for always because after my Exams i will start again whit it beacause i have then enough time!
This mod will be better then my other ICS mod!

Guide to get some sort of ICS lockscreen (Real ics lockscreen coming in further updates)
First go to settings--> cyanogogenmod settings --> lockscreen --> style options --> locksceen style en choose ring --> then choose ring-lock style en choose from there holo style ENJOY!
Guide for the Noobs:
- first download this mod/rom from the 2nd post
- then put it on your sd card
- install cwm recovery from your normal recovery by going to apply update.zip from sd card en choose the cwm.zip file CWM added in description
- after you installed CWM recovery go into CWM recovery by holding down the power+home button.
- then go to Wipe data/factory reset en do that after that go to Wipe Cache Partition do that en after that go to advanced tab en choose that the wipe dalvik cache.
- after you wiped your whole phone go to install zip from sdcard en choose zip from sd card then choose ICSGio V2 the click on yes en follow the instruction in the instructions in the AROMA installer.

How to setup the tiles?
it is installed the theme but if you first boot up the phone you must set your applications for the icons but i forgot that so thats why no theming on icons but if you do the setup icons themed

-downgrade it to 7.1 because problems with contacts list in 7.2 RC 5.6 if you click on a contact the phone says android.process.acore hass stopped unexpectly so thats why on 7.1 no problems sorry for everyone. i will ask it to squadzone if he can fix this. tonight new update recommended to download en install.

A Samsung bug was found in the expanded status bar - expanded panel showed up at top & bottom of screen when first pulling down. It has been fixed. Also, you now have a choice for SystemUI options: 1) stock, 2) clock centered, 3) clock/date centered. Options are in install script.

Notes about 1% battery icons.
When the ROM starts is will be using the default 1% battery icons.
To change the battery icons, use the 3Minit Battery Settings app. You will get a menu with 2 options: Selection and Setting.
Under Selection, pick the battery select the battery style you want: Authors -> will provide different users who have battery style available.
These styles will be downloaded and displayed for you to select one. Under Style, select how you want the charging icon display to look.

How to install:
1. reboot into recovery
2. make a backup of current ROM (IMPORTANT)
3. select install from TWRP menu
4. navigate to SM_P901_XXUANI1_NoWipe.zip or SM_P901_XXUANK2.zip
5. select zipfile
6. continue with Aroma install
7. will auto reboot at end of install after acknowledgement of successful installation.
8. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE PAGE AFTER THE INSTALLATION PAGE AND BEORE AROMA REBOOT
NOTE: This is a NON-WIPE ROM. It WILL NOT Delete your data. I STRONGLY recommend you do a data backup (Titanium Backup?) and factory reset before installing ROM.

If you can, look at the folder /system/etc/wifi. There should be 33 files in that folder. If there is only 25, then that is the problem. If there are 33 files, then try a re-install.
During setup you should be asked to connect to Wifi. Were you?
Did you connect successfully?

Kernel is stock except for minor ramdisk mods for superuser.

Not sure. But you can try. Make sure you do a backup first.

However I tried to reset the note, clear cache and dalvick cache and re-install a fresh copy.
The wifi works fine during the first steps of configuartion (google sign in, samasung accounts) then after that the same problem occurs.
wifi stops working and hangs.
I can`t turn it off/on.
airplane mode did not help.
After 3 times of resetting and re-installing. I decided to flash the stock rom.
I will try to re-install this rom after fixing wifi problem.

Did you do a data wipe? If yes, then I have no idea. Never seen or heard that happen before.
If you did not do a data wipe, then try that as something in your saved settings might be causing the problem.
EDIT: If you can, please send me a listing of the files in /system/etc/wifi and a copy of your /system/build.prop file.
EDIT2: Attached is a modified build.prop file. Please reinstall rom, wait for the auto reboot after you configure tablet (after 1st boot), then reboot into recovery and install the build.prop.zip file. Let me know the results

I tried to reset and flash a fresh copy..... with no success to keep wifi working.

I have had this happen on my Note 3 with stock firmware (ROM outside my region) a while back and ended up using someone else's custom rom. They knew how to set regional wifi info.
From what I have read, you could try wifi fix manager of the play store o some other wifi fix. It makes changes to your regional wifi settings.

I will look into it. I have never used exposed, so I will have to research how to integrate it.
Bluetooth
Does the lollipop rom have the bluetooth bug that prevents it from using bluetooth keyboards, especially the logitech note pro keyboard? This was a huge issue on stock 5.0.2 worldwide, fixed in almost all variants except p901. If someone can confirm this works with non-samsung bluetooth keyboards, I wouldn't mind, I'm tired of waiting for lousy Samsung to update.

WHEN ROM FIRST BOOTS UP YOU MUST NOT SET PHONE UP UNTIL THE REBOOT WINDOW POPS UP! ONCE REBOOT WINDOW POPS UP WAIT A COUPLE OF MINUTES AND THEN PRESS THE REBOOT BUTTON! AFTER THAT SET PHONE UP AS USUAL.
HOW TO FLASH
DIRECTIONS FOR FLASHING AROMA
* When installing vXI you don't want to wipe in recovery like usual... instead just flash vXIII and when in aroma choose the full wipe option. When flashing the rom you MUST full wipe! If not you will bootloop! Also when flashing for the first time when you get to theme options if you do not want a theme and just want it to be stock just simply skip that page by pressing next.. I have included a "Return back to stock" option for those who flashed a theme and for one reason or another don't like it or just prefer stock to go back in aroma and flash. Last thing.... if you are just flashing aroma to get rid of some bloat or to try out a different theme/return back to stock, or try out one of the optional apps included in aroma then full wipe is not necessary.
HOW TO FLASH ROM ON A DEFFERENT VARIENT ex. SPRINT/INTERNATIONAL USERS
* For those users who are not of the T-Mobile varient that would like to flash this rom I will include the link to UniKernal v8-002 Aroma to flash directly after flashing SICK as HELL. When in the UniKernal aroma you need to make sure and choose the patch option which will allow you to flash other roms not built for your carrier fixing the audio issue when making calls. I have tried on Sprint and it works perfect!
RECOMMENDATIONS/HOW TO SETUP ROM
* When doing a fresh install of SICK as HELL choose all options on the main menu of aroma options which are WIPE, INSTALL FULL ROM, DEBLOAT, THEMES/APPS. Again always FULL WIPE when installing rom. When coming to debloating the rom choose only the bloat in which you use. That's the beauty of root! Not having to have all that bull**** that comes pre-installed on our devices that we never use always running wasting our battery by running in the background somehow and also screwing with the performance... When you get to theme options if you just want stock then don't choose anything and click the next button. You can always come back later if you choose to use a theme or if you did choose a theme and just want to return to stock. But I hate stock personally and also hate all 99% of the themes offered in the theme store so I always choose and recommend "Black Ice" theme option. It's a clean ass theme with 80% transparent bgs throughout so you can see your wallpaper for the bg on almost every screen, and I made almost all the icons white and font white so that you can choose which color you'd like your phone to have. As far as the optional apps go that I have offered in aroma I recommend the XDA app that's offered and I use CM Music player. Moto weather widget is also pretty cool. After you have made all your decisions then flash rom. When rom boots let sit for 2 mins and then reboot! After finally getting to home page the first thing your gonna want to do is to go into SICK Rom Control and go into the status bar/clock options and change the alignment for the clock. If you don't then you will see no clock lol. And pick what ever color you'd like if you want? I personally choose "Custom clock" in clock style and under "Custom java format" I put "hh:mm:ss:" which adds seconds to the status bar clock ex. 07:30:21. Next I go into battery bar options and in options i change it to " Height: 10, Location on Screen: Bottom, Aignment on screen: Center, and then tick animate and choose pulse up/down and accelerate-decelerate." Then pick whatever colors you'd like. Next if you want change the drop down carrier text to whatever you'd like. After that choose the "Hold Back To Kill" option and set it to 600. When setting it up for the first time it will automatically direct you to Settings/Accessibility to turn the feature on. Now that you have the status bar options all done next I always go into AdAway and run it so that it will get rid of all annoying ads in apps and such. Next go into Fly On Mods. Either Choose the "Enable All Feature" or just go through it and choose the options that you want. Lastly I always go into launcher settings by holding down on the screen on home page. Choose whatever options you'd like. That's pretty much it as far as setting the rom up goes... on a side note I personally always after signing into the Play Store I hate when apps automatically update so I go directly into settings and change it to "Do not auto-update apps" option. One last side note... anytime you do a fresh install of a rom it takes a little time for it takes about 2 days to settle in which you will notice better performance and battery.

Before Flashing Wipe Both Caches.... If you decide not to then don't complain that your getting fc's of it's not working!
When you first open the launcher settings, you will see it with black text on a black bg, to fix please do the following:
Tap launcher settings, turn on the power saving mode then hit back once and you will see power mode enable.Now go back to settings and turn power mode off and everything will be back to normal. You only have to do this the first time you open the launcher settings.
To enable infinite scrolling of the home pages apply these settings:
Uncheck My Magazine and make sure that transition effect is set to something other than Plain-NoWrap.Then exit out of settings and uncheck the 6th gear page.Now you will have infinite scrolling of your pages. If you leave the 6th gear page checked, you will end up opening it when you reach the end of each side.
Some of those settings might not stick after rebooting, so you might have to set them up again.

Download zip file and flash in custom recovery. I personally use TWRP but whatever custom recovery you use is fine. Dirty flash is cool also no need to wipe caches but it never hurts... Reboot and enjoy! If you want to revert back to stock Samsung boot splash simply download the revert zip and flash in recovery the same way.

Delete this folder and reboot
"Initially Chrome is needed else Bootloop"

A: For Finder you must use S_Finder app.
Make sure you checked S_Finder app in Aroma while installing the ROM
7. My Second Sim not working, shows emergency calls only. How to fix it?
A: If Only SIM1 Slot works ( eg. Vodafone ) and SIM2 Slot ( eg. Jio ) shows Emergency calls,
then issue is STK, STK2 app
Make sure you checked STK, STK2 apps in Aroma while installing the ROM
8. My Samsung Sans Fonts disappeared after updating them in Galaxy Store? How to fix it?
A: ROM has custom Samsung Sans.apk with 1060 fonts,
So don't update this app in Galaxy store

Delete the samsungSans app in both
Data/app/SamsungSans & System/app/SamsungSans
Then
Reboot once
ThenCopy the SamsungSans.apk from rom zip to system/app
Set Permissions
Reboot and Enjoy
Dont forget, Never update this app again.
