Can someone else try turning of icons with frames please, I think Samsung cocked it up with August update.
I can't turn off icons with frames even with default theme.
Thanks

How do i change the picture on my lockscreen? For some reason its some pic of some grass and i would like to change it... Im running CM6 6.0
Theres a bug that makes the lockscreen background turn to grass when you change your wallpaper on cm6. Its quirky, sometimes it changes it while other times it doesn't. Simply reboot and your lockscreen with change to your current wallpaper. If you want to have a different lockscreen background than your wallpaper, download widget locker from the market. You can change the lock wallpaper and customize the sliders.
thanks for your responce ill download widgetlock screen and check that out
I seem to have a problem with replacing smaller icons in .apk files and getting them to display correctly.
for example i was trying to turn the power savings bar (quick shortcuts widget) blue instead of green. i can replace the colors in settings.apk/res/drawable-hdpi with no problem and it does change the color but i can't seem to keep the icon smooth.
using photoshop cs2 if i replace color and save with no other changes the icon is not nearly as crisp.
larger program icons are no problem and seem to look very good.
but smaller icons for the buttons such as the screen timeout icons end up slightly blurred compared to the original. this happens even if i select the blank areas first and invert and create a new layer.
im sure it's something stupid a setting ect. im missing but if anyone has an idea id be appreciative.
only seems to happen or be noticeable with the smaller 47 x 47 icons.
doesn't seem to happen on even the 48 x 48 icons or larger.
Hmmmmm seems i found a fix. its a little more work but creating my own larger icon and rescaling down to the smaller size seems to work quite well.
a little more work but at least i get the effect i wanted.
still would like to know if anyone has an ez way to just recolor an image.
Its hard to see the lock screen clock when I have a background with light color.
How can I change the color of the clock widget on the lock screen?
I have the same issue. There was a time where I changed the lock screen wallpaper and somehow the clock turned into a black font. I don't know how. I changed to a different background and it stayed black. Then about a month later I switched backgrounds again and it turned white again and hasn't changed ever since. If someone could please shed light on this issue I'd really appreciate it.
I found a solution for this. You need to change LG Theme, part of them has a dark color clock.
Apps look zoomed in afte the emui 9 update. Keyboard, status bar icons and notification bar look huge! It looks like when the resolution is lowered to 720p, but it's not. Text and display sizes are set to lowest. It just looks so weird. Anyone else has this problem?
I am facing the same issue. Looks bad to me
Hi everyone.
I managed somehow to see very, very transparent masking region on notification line. Straight rectangle just under the camera cutout. It is visible everywhere in UI but it is hardly noticeable. Even in full screen YouTube videos.
Can someone confirm is this some kind of UI masking region? I hope it is not screen burn-in problem.?
I managed to take a picture of screen in dark room with dark green wallpaper in full screen mode and brightness all the way to maximum, and it is clearly visible.
(Photo is edited so notification region can be seen.)
Dark green wallpaper and photo on a link below.

Thanks for answer in advance.
Yes, it is like a mask were the status bar is, it looks bad, when in the apps, it looks darker
I really don't know what I did, but fiddling with ui tuner, nova settings and I cant recall what else, the dark mask in the upper part is gone!
