Has anyone noticed that the 5z has a yellowish display. Night mode is not on and everything is in default.

Sometimes when I'm in a dimmer area, my display will be so dim I can hardly see it. This doesn't happen in brighter areas.
For reference, it is far far dimmer than brightness setting 1. I have the watch set to auto brightness and ambient off.
Anyone else seeing this?
Yeah, it seems that the 360's auto brightness setting is (at least sometimes) pretty aggressive in low light conditions.
Same here, and I hate that. I always have to go into the settings when the room light is dim, and switch off auto brightness and change to the 1 setting.

I'm almost positive it's a bug, the low brightness of 1 isn't too bright for very dark situations and the dimmed mode is simply too dim.
I'm pretty sure auto-brightness should turn on at level 1 (if it's dark) and then go to the ultra-dimmed mode before the screen times-out just like in normal brightness.
I don't think I've seen this bug happen in the daytime though, so it does seem like a bug at brightness level 1 only
Any solution to this problem? Drives me crazy.

Dark scenes in Netflix are unwatchable. Anyone else experiencing this? I have to either turn up brightness nearly to Max or turn off adaptive brightness

Usually turning off adaptive does the trick. Sadly some OLED panels suffer this "issue". Perhaps in the future there will be a custom kernel with extreme brightness mode.
Have you guys noticed that when you turn adaptive brightness off and slide the brightness slider up and down the screen temperature changes color?? This is happening on 4 pixel 2 xl that I have seen including mine...so strange. It is especially noticable on a white background. Is this only me?
edit: You can also see this with adaptive brightness on and when it ramps the brightness up and down, the color temperature changes with it.
I've noticed it while using the phone on the train, as the lighting changes, the temperature of the screen changes between warmer (more pink) to cooler (more blue/green). It doesn't last long and I assumed it's because of the adaptive brightness.
A grey shape fingerprint is visible under direct sunlight and high brightness in IQoo3 especially in white background .. Anybody having this issue ???

Washed out colors. Auto dimming of display. And what seems to be stuttering!
Anyone have experienced the same and any possible fix?
K have installed the latest update v4.15
Auto dimming is controlled by the auto slider on the drop down menu. You can also turn on the button on the top left side, and control it that way. As for washed out colors, you control the display in the display settings like a tv. You can make it any way you want. The display on mine is right up there with a LG OLED cx, and better than any Samsung phone I've had.
