Need build.prop for redmi note 5 pro running on miui. - Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Questions & Answers

I changed multiple build.prop values like the product name, brand name etc on my redmi note 5 pro miui version 9.5.19.0 to install fortnite. But after modifying the build.prop, some of the miui features have been disabled like no face unlock no silent or dnd toggle button. I want to restore back the values of the build prop. So can someone running miui (any version) on redmi note 5 pro post their build.prop here? You can just open the build prop file and copy the whole text and paste here as a reply. Thanks.

No one using redmi note 5 pro running on miui here?

People on xda rarely run stock MIUI9

Has anyone rooted their Mi Max 3?

I am looking to have long shutter speed in the Redmi Note 5 AI. And since the Mi Max 3 has it already with the same camera module. I'd like to experiment if it works with the Redmi note 5. FOr that I need some files from root. Can anyone help?
THe files are the s5k2l7 .so files found in vendor/lib
Xiaomi hasn't released the ROM in their page so I cant extract it myself from that.
Thank you.

Android One in Redmi 6 pro

Last time i checked, ( 10 minutes before posting this), The specs for Mi A2 Lite and Redmi 6 pro are totally the same, except the network bands. We can even assume that Redmi 6 pro is just rebranded version of Mi A2 Lite for India (and some other countries where they are being sold, if any). So, is it at all possible to flash that Android one directly into Redmi 6 pro, or do we need to make some modifications to the package.
Another short question...(as am a newbie and i would like the community to push my knowledge limit a little further). Is it at all possible to flash android one on to any other phone, whatever the specs maybe(same and different).
Edit - I found some interesting facts - Mi A2 Lite is indeed the Global version of Redmi 6 pro
- Redmi 6 pro uses a classic partitioning system while A2 lite uses the A/B system. So direct flashing the stock android one rom will brick it.
New questions - is there any ways to change the partition system from one to the other?
is there some way, we 'stock rom' lust hounds get a hand on it using this 6 pro?
And did you think about the notch?
Mi a2 rom
Did it work
Jay: Did you try A2 or A2 Lite?

Basically you can't flash Android one version of daisy on sakura. You can port android one for sakura or install a previous one which is ported and almost works fine.

Hey! I've been thinking the same thing, and I've tinkered around the fastboot stock images for both the A2 Lite and the 6 Pro. The stock image for Daisy contains a img named "partition" and I think this is what makes the A/B partition in the phone. I haven't tried it, But I'm think of doing it. editing all the flash_all.sh files in the Android One ROM from the A2 Lite, i.e replacing all codename "daisy" with "sakura" so it doesn't throw a invalid device error. I'll update

Missings Fonts on MIUI10

Hi,
did anybody encountered this wierd problem of missing certain kind of fonts in miui 10 stable version.
In instagram, using stylish fonts, neither instagram app, nor browser can see the fonts, instead boxes are shown.. in Mi Max Prime, in Redmi Note 4
but are visible in Redmi Note 5 Pro..
see images...
No Reply from anyone out there....
well ,I did some research myself.
what I found out was, In Mi Max Prime, System fonts has 147 files, whereas in Redmi Note 5 pro, system fonts has 180 files.
Now this is not Good on Xiaomi's part, why this BIAS!!
Whatever, I rooted again my Mi Max Prime, and put font files from Redmi Note 5 pro into my Mi Max prime and now , no Boxes...
Hello
At last after searching for hours, found someone who actually understands the problem. I have Redmi Note 4 MTK and facing the same issues. I don't know how you checked the difference in the no. of files or how you fixed it. Please help!!!

First you need to root your device.
Then using any file explorer with root permissions ( I personally like "X-plore"), you can browse system files.
In file manager, go to Root>system>fonts
In this folder there are all the font files, you just need to update them with any new phones' font files, as in my case , I used Redmi Note 5 pro's files. ( Just copy, paste, over-write, reboot)

Redmi note 8 miui 12

HI Guys,
As pe the official mi website, Upcoming MIUI 12 update does not include Floating Window and Animated Icon feature for Redmi Note 8. Buy these feature will be supported for Redmi Note 7 and Redmi 7 devices which is older than our device.
What could be the reason. Are we neglected...???
https://en.miui.com/
Probably forgot to include Note 8. Doesn't really make sense if an older device can have these features but the newer ones don't.
MIUI 12 global is new so i'd guess whatever on their site isn't final anyways.
Im i going to get a same experience with this device??...... Wtf
I was using redmi 3 pro before and they di the same with that device dropping update even when redmi 2 was still getting updates....
At least we have some stable android 10 on redmi 3 pro... But redmi note 8 doesn't seems to have that many stable rom... Hiks im sad
update: they fixed the webpage
