yes you can! however i use chinese keyboard as an additional input method as the rom i am using didnt come with the chinese language pack as part of froyo

How I install these apps in Cyanogen mod 9?
I could do it for samsung keyboard but I can't type in persian using it. When I change the language the letters on the keyboard remain english. Arabic and Ordu also have this problem but korean and French are ok.
I used deodexed .apk of my phone stock Rom and this instruction to load samsung keyboard in Cyanogen 9:

The problem is that I am forced to use the qwerty keyboard and the english prediction.

When I want to chose the international keyboard, only the english one is available.
I do not have the EN key on my keyboard, there is a mic instead.

I know just an only one elegant way how to set up Google Pixel C Keyboard and Tablet (USA) to work and really type with russian keyboard layout - created and implemented by russian user with nick Nessas.
- you can use special edition of application DragonKeyboard.apk (created/patched by Nessas). Nessas's method described by him itself on the forum of site 4pda.ru in the thread "Google Pixel C" and sub-thread with the header "Русский язык для физической клавиатуры". I suppose that this method implemented by user Nessas2 (from 4pda.ru) will work on all Google C keyboards including (DE) version.
- alternatively, you can contact with Nessas2 - the author of this unique patch on the 4pda.ru forum, and learn how to solve your problem in yours specific situation.
