Seidio

I was checking Seidio for a Rezound case today, and saw this:

Looks like they are working on a case likely like:

for the fire. Thought some others may find it nice, I have always loved seidio and am a strong believer in them.

I'm of the opposite opinion. I've always thought Seidio was overpriced and lacking in quality. I've had two of their cases and both broke within a couple months.

I think it would be the best case so far. I don't like the leather cases and soft cases like marware that people are buying so far.

Looking pretty neat.

I'm really looking forward to trying out some of these cases... especially from Seido their stuff is usually high quality. I've had several of their other cases for my android phones and they have yet to disappoint me. Just hurry up and gimmie one

At work at the moment, so haven't gotten a chance yet. It arrived just before I left for here.

The case is amazing. Pic from me installing CM7 on it using its stand.

I like the idea, but I'm afraid constantly.popping it out of the case in order to tilt it would 1 be annoying and 2 wear on/damage the kindle. Let me know what you think after using yours for a bit.

It adds a bit of bulk. The texture is actually not great. It fairly smooth so it feels like the Kindle is gonna fall out of your hand.
I plan on using it when traveling, but around the house the Fire will be naked.

What about popping it out for using the stand? Does it seem like it will wear on the kindle?

Nah,
Popping out of the multi-purpose stand is fairly easy. Doesn't stress the Kindle at all.

anybody else got one of these? i bought a case from them for my dads xoom, its okay, does its job. i thought about getting the blue on but ill probably just get black to not be flashy lol.
just wondering about the quality id get one of the stands with it too

You will love it! I love mine so much.

I love my marware case. Its light and does exactly what its suppose to do.

Check out the brief review at Amazon. Sounds good. Looks like a nice mixture of a thin case with a nice lip. I went ahead and placed my order from Amazon via Wireless Everything. I called them. They said they were selling the retail box version and that their standard shipping includes USPS First Class. I just recieved an email stating that it has shipped.
I'm going to get the Case-Mate Tough Case also went it comes out. Who knows though, maybe this one is overall a more stylish and functional case because of how thin it is.

It is certainly a nice case. Maybe I'll order one too. But I really wanted a tough case because I've had experience with that case and I know it to be a good one. Hmmm... decisions decisions. Hopefully when you guys get one you can upload some more pictures and your personal opinions.

I got the one like in the picture today with my note. Its a nice case for sure. Buttons are still easy to push and use. Its worth it.

Fired off an email, I'll post what they say. But I must agree, that I believe that they mean that it's not made by Samsung. On the item description it does say that it's genuine. Oh well, I'll see It seems like it's a good deal! hehe.

for anyone who is so inclined, the white/pink version is $10 less at amazon (and $5 less shipping to canada). that's what i got.

I received mine today, and it's wonderful. The only thing I would comment on is that the hard back makes it easy to slide around. Only having it face-down will keep it from slipping.

why is it $40

Those are really good for protection. I just wish they made a while and grey colored case.

Etsy Pouches

For my previous tablet and phone ownerships I've always opted to go for cases in order to protect my devices. For my previous Xoom i went with the bulky otterbox and for the nexus 4 I went with the Acase Superlaggera.
For the nexus 7 I wanted to go with something lighter and less bulky. I decided to just go with a Spigen screen protector for the tablet itself and to get a leather pouch. I began looking at puches on etsy. These are the ones that I was looking at:

They looked nice but were ultimately too expensive. I decided to buy the following one:

The shipping was really fast. The pouch protects the device pretty well and holds the tablet snuggly. It has some sort of felt material for the inner part of the pouch. The only negative I've experienced is that the leather is easy to mark but I guess it gives the pouch character.

I ordered that same pouch, but without the logo. Dark gray denim with green inside. Excited to see the quality of the pouch.
I never even thought to look at etsy for cases until I saw this thread. So thanks for the all of the great links!

yeah I also went without the logo. Red inside (GO TERPS) for me, but I went no logo becuase I read that it was 'painted on' and if I'm spending more $$ I was expecting sewn in, so it wasnt worth it. Quality actually looks really good from online though. Should be in in about 2-4 weeks so we'll see

Nexus 5 Official Bumper Case

Hi guys,
I have ordered the nexus 5 from the US and looking for a good case for it. What other than the google's official bumper. Especially the Red & Yellow one is amazing. I was thinking of ordering it for quite some time but till now it has been out of stock. Anyone know any other websites where I can find the official bumper for nexus 5 in Red or Yellow only. Not much of a grey fan which is available in ebay. I know its pricey and I can go for way better options like spigen and cruzerlite and so on... Anyways, help me out here...

i have the spigen neo-hybrid myself, and it is a very solid case, the buttons feel great, protection seems pretty solid, the back of the case gets marked up pretty well if you keep it with your keys or something, but they are easily wiped away with some spit. I just ordered the spigen ultra fit clear case and it should be here by the end of the week. Spigen makes some pretty solid cases although some of their cases has been plagued by issues such as the slim armor case.

Lol, of course my two LEAST favorite colors for the case would come back in stock. Hopefully it isn't too much longer for the black one to come back...

I Just wanna know if these cases are the same material and have the same "rubber" feeling of the original back of the phone, can someone who already received it answer me?

There have been reviews of the official cases for a while now if you're still on the fence. Generally both are a disappointment and overpriced.

Both? Who's had a Quick Cover to even be able to review it? Even the big shots didn't get one with the phone (The Verge, etc).

Feels great too me its not as gritty as stock back but again its nice. It will also protect your phones screen if you like to flip your phone over a lot

It's available but man, the international shipping is ridiculous. $13 for the case, but $18 just for shipping?? I've bought cases from US before and I've never been charged more than $10 for shipping......
