Which firmware is recommended?
You don't mention buttons, what works and doesn't for the OnePlus's buttons/slider, any device specific customisation or is it just bare bones AOSP?
You said RIL calls work but then you also said volte doesn't work.

Thanks, definitely need to give it a go then. I presume Magisk 16.7 will be ok for root, any idea if Substratum themes will work? (I know version 998 needed to be used on the DP Treble builds cos I was trying those before).
I presume, also, that Google Play won't allow us to restore our app set so we'll need to use Titanium Backup to backup/restore those?
Thanks for your hard work anyway

Flashed this the other day before it was released here. Not bad, smooth as hell. Just lacks a lot of features that I need. Other than that, amazing ROM. Now all we need is AOSiP for our device and we'll be set. ?

It's smoother than GSIs, has no dual-sim issues (because we use the regular QTI IMS code from Qualcomm), it has better GPS support (because we use Qualcomm's IZAT & XTRA aided GPS service), etc.
I've even added a little kernel patch to the thing so that double-tap to wake can be cleanly toggled from the settings menu.
Overall: It's just a more pleasant experience.
EDIT: A new build is available.
This build fixes a few mixer_path (speaker call) and passive voice-detection (ok google) issues.
Thanks you very much Sir . notification light may be not working though
You are the man! Thanks so much, Robert!

What's working : ... Fingerprint ...
does not work. and the thing is very necessary
The fingerprint did not work for me either.
One question: after installing 9.5.16 firmware is there any problem revert to 10.3.1?
System ui crash only in the first setting when enter in clock tab in aosip settings. It works fine after that.
The device is now certified in google play setting enabling some games which were previously not allowed in the previous gsi roms (device not certified) to be installed. Double-tap to wake works fine. Telecom voice seems to be clearer. Overall, it is smooth and fast. Thank you very much!
Seems like Samsung Wearables plugins don't install on this version (device is not compatible), have fp problem also. Everything else seems to run fine. Great work and effort. Thanks
The led not working is the only thing that is a bit annoying, finger print unlock is work fine all in all a good start well done... And thanks
Great job MrColdbird! Thank you very much! All seems to be working

There are less functions! And the unblocking a face doesnt work for me for some reason still here.
I'm very concerned about the overclocking and harming my device. I tried to downclock via kernel auditor, but it's very buggy. I hope you revert the frequencies to original values in the next releases.

Ehh, its more of a kernel thing, I think you have to request that with @mario_R since he is working on the 6.0 kernel on his thread.

What do you mean by "buggy"?
Works like a charm for me
Also about reverting frequencies to stock one- no i won't remove OC since it gives noticeable boost in UI rendering/games. If you don't want to use it then just flash MIUI stock kernel
