hi guys. i cannot install any custom rom like accent os lineage os and many more . if some rom boots then in that rom finger print sensor does not works like rr n xosp and back in jan and feb it was working in some roms like xosp and now it isnt . the phone just stucts at boot logo . like now now i m using miui 8 based on m .whenever i install cm 13 it shows error 7 even on cm 14 also . and when i install freedom os and accent os it shows (this package is for oneplus 3 this is a "'.. any fix u guys might know . i dont like oos the main reason is
First of all, you should read, read and search. Every thread has a search option. Second please don't start flashing crap on your phone if you littery have 0 knowledge. It's okay to be noob but at least do a little research. Now I'm trying to learn you something:
1. Go to the thread of the rom you want to flash
2. Read the entire post, double read the instructions.
3. If you still encounter any issues while you exactly did what the instructions said, then use the search option that every thread has.
4. If you still can't fix it yourself and have tried multiple times feel free to ask for help.
If you follow those steps you should fix your problem, if not READ it again... If you feel like you have tried enough I will be right here to help you

Download the correct ROM for your device. A ROM meant for OP3T will not work on OP3.
Check the firmware you have currently on the device and the required firmware version for the ROM you are flashing. Fingerprint sensor not working usually means a firmware mismatch.
Keep the twrp updated.
Clean flash as much as possible.
Follow the first reply to your question - read and understand before you do anything.

@sheepkill15 I have a question mate. Is there anything specific regarding the installaton process of your ROM? I installed your RR-O-v6.1.0-20180907 and 8.1 GApps mini but I've been sitting on a bootanimation for over 20 minutes now. Thanks for your effort and sharing the ROM with us.

There's nothing special to be done, but yes, sometimes it's stuck in bootloop. What I usually do is:
Hard reset, wipe everything except microsd, delete the zip from sd card, copy it again and install again.
Idk why it needs sometimes to be flashed again, but that way it will boot for sure. A normal first boot with this rom should be around 7 minutes

is there any bugs in this rom ? is it stable and support the Dual sim configuration means both sim card can be detected ? cuz am using HadesRom v4.5 it's cool! but i get fed up from the TOUCHWIZ and i want the original google roms give my A5 2017 the full power of CPU and GPU ! more faster and more powerful but with the original looks heavy sometimes after maybe a month of using !

In the current build, the biggest problem is that the buttons dont light up, but I fixed that in the meantime, just haven't uploaded it yet. The other noticeable issue is that the battery life is not perfect. I'm working on it too. The radio isn't working yet, but you don't use it, there's nothing more.
I don't know about dual sim, since I have the normal one.
Does anybody else face a problem of a laggy front camera using apps like snapchat/messenger/instagram?

problems are :
The Rom :
- Didn't detect my saved contacts on both sim cards.
- Didn't have the same quality of image but it's not bad.
- The calculator app still more than 1 min to open ( something weird)!
- Battery usage looks perfect !
- The configurations in settings gives a lot of helpful things such as the customization of the notification panel and the power menu !

so what i did now is that i rooted with magisk and i installed ( Root explorer R ) pro version and installed ( System apps uninstall ).
i deleted ( Calculator,Camera,browser,messaging,music player,gallery.....etc) then i installed an Alternative for them. so now i have my customized RR V6.2.0
it's awesome with root. But for who installed this rom you can go to settings and find the display PPI ( you will find it about 400ppi ) i changed it up to 424ppi( the original A5 2017 ppi ) and now works perfectly .

Friend I've been with your rom for a few days and it's the BEST ROM OF EVERYTHING! I say this in a matter of customization and having a purest experience that samsung ...
I have an A520F (two-chip model) and both are OK.
The problem is that it has some really annoying bugs as a problem to play media (especially songs that get squeaked and at first I was worried if my headphones had damaged), also has bugs in the camera that seem to limit their quality a lot, bugs in the interface in general that make the device reboot out of nowhere (it happened to me 1 or 2 times during the time I am with the rom on the device [4 days]), bugs on the physical buttons as previously said, among others ... These were the most important bugs I had with rom.
I have some suggestions for interesting implementations to make in the rom like stereo audio (it has this function in Hades), just leave the pixel launcher more notifications optimization on the always on display and one good thing I believe developers should do is provide a form of install a separate galaxy s9 camera package that is present in rom Hades for all roms.
You are doing a good job and good luck for more projects in the future. I'll probably record a YouTube video about your future rom and give you the credits.
Hi, I'm facing this issue with my oneplus 3 on custom roms based on android pie..it still happens and has become very difficult for me to use. im very eager to use pie on my device :/ .I've tried Havoc 9.0, Nitrogen OS 9.0, Pixel Experience and even skydragon but it still happens. Whenever the phone goes to sleep or i lock it, and then when i try to wake it up from the lock using either fingerprint or power button, the screen lights up in black and the two capacitive buttons light up, i can hear a lock screen sound also, but the display stays black. but the rom works like it should until the display doesnt turn off.. i have to reboot the device completely to solve it.. currently im on oxygen os 5.05. someone please help
Is your display original or has it been replaced? I have same problem because i replaced broken original LCD with cheap one from eBay.

I too replaced my display panel with a duplicate one recently and facing this issue (pressing the power button, but screens turns to black but pressing the power button again and again turns it on) since then. Not only pie ROM but also on Oreo custom roms. Only pie ROM that seems to be working is Nitrogen OS. There may be some problem or mismatch with display drivers. Also the profiles like SRGB and others are not working.
No problem on OOS 5.0.6

I forwarded the commit and the message to Dev of Havoc OS. He said he will ask the holy angel for what he can do.

Seems some additional commits are required.
Can you ask developer of Franco kernel about the comitts maybe he can help.

Yes I am using it currently. And Franco kernel also doesn't has any problem.
Other kernel give problems.
NitrogenOS also works. Guys please find a workaround, very hard to find better displays in market
Installed NitrogenOS 8.1 with fk-r39-anykernel2.zip (Franco Kernel) and everything works just fine now.
Interestingly, the problem persists in TWRP (I cannot let the display sleep during backup or restore otherwise, I cannot switch the display back on).

There is no suitable version of Xposed framework for NOS 9 (pie).
Fkr44 (latest version of the kernel) showed more lag time before the screen turns on (like 2-3 sec).
Had the best experience with the older kernel.
Any fixes or working rom guys ? I really want pie in my OnePlus 3

I had a similar issue with Havoc even with the original screen. So far, RR has been fine.

My screen just stops working after MI logo on all AOSP based custom ROMs. It simply powers off completely. I have tried Lineage OS 15.1, Arrow OS pie, Bootleggers ROM pie, and its the same on all of them.
I know the custom ROMs boot because i can hear the screen lock/unlock sound when I press the power button.
Tried wiping cache/dalvik; installing only rom, without Magisk. Don't know what else to try, but I really don't want to use MIUI because the main reason I bought this phone is because it has a rich dev community.
Also, the latest version of TWRP works, but RedWolf recovery has the same problem as AOSP ROMs: Screen just shuts off and after MI logo, but I know the recovery has started because it shows my devices' files on my PC when plugged into USB.
Stock MIUI, and MIUI AM custom ROM I have tried work just fine: The screen works perfectly normal.
Does anybody know of a fix, or has a similar issue? I have bought this phone to install an Open Source system and not be dependent on Google anymore, but now I'm stuck on MIUI which has both Google and Xiaomi bloat
Any help would be highly appreciated. My phone is Redmi Note 5 - Global edition (Whyred). I got it a month ago, and tried flashing as soon as my 360h unlock period expired.

Tested, works really well! Good job! Even the battery usage is great. It's smoother compared to 7.1.
As it's pointed out, Gapps breaks RIL. Everything else works except radio and offline charging. Installed Aurora Store and I'm pretty happy with it.
Things I tested:

I can confirm your tests, but can you please test Videorecording with 1080p. For me the Video Quality (only with 1080p!) is low, becouse there are randomly White lines from the left to the right in the Video. (Like in all builds after 08/2018)

I see the white lines, they're sporadic but they're there only with 1080p.

My findings so far: All things mentioned above are working for me as well, but with some exceptions:
GPS finds plenty of satelites, but doesn't snap in ( no position..).
Battery- charging freezes once, I had to reboot to go on.
In Whatsapp recorded video-sequences aren't playable ( frozen screen or artefacts..)
I couldn't find any menue to choose the touchscreen - triangles for moving the cursor in a text document.
I'm looking forward the next Version....:fingers-crossed:
Just tested this rom on my GT-I9301I for an hour or so and i have to say that auto-rotation doesn't work sometimes, also i don't know what exactly RIL is but i installed the gapps aroma (customized) and didn't realize any issue related to gapps until now, and also i got a new phone recently so the old phone doesn't have a sim card anymore, and i don't plan to put one on my GT-I9301I, so my old phone is somewhat like a test device now, i have tried some custom roms before but i didn't like them too much, this one doesn't look bad, except i wish you could do something about offline charging.

Waiting for an edititon for Sony sensor! On Sony sensor not works camera and flashlight, but rom is usable as daily driver.
Auto-rotate is working in YT Vanced and other apps only sometimes.
This is very cool ROM, better than Nougat!

If it gets stuck, you are probably running an outdated firmware. Get the latest from Sammobile or check the Telegram group. You will need Odin or Heimdall to install it. Be careful which firmware you are burning, it can brick your device if it's the wrong one.
For more than an hour it is stuck in the installation screen
