In my opinion is Turbo rom https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-1s/development/rom-turbo-rom-layers-t3346630
with phantom kernel v7 https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-1s/development/lp-mm-phantom-kernel-r1-t3254158 .
Tried various combinations , finally reverted back .

you can use substratum, but it will be in legacy mode

I don't know much about ROM porting, otherwise I would have done it myself. This looks promising, OOS is the smoothest ROM I ever used thats why requesting devs to take up this project.

there's already a port available but its by no means bugless or even close to stable .

Hi, I have recently unlocked my device, tried few 2 Roms , which have some bugs... I need to know if there is any bug free Rom ? also the Camera feature performance would be much more better n better ?

I recommend revolution os, is based miui rom and have so much features have like miuipro.(Like fix low sound)
İf you don't want so much features you can try mi room.
And for make camera better you can try google camera version 6. You can find this in Xiaomi Mi 6 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Heating and less sot happens in every rom
Either u have sacrifice battery is u more gaming performance
And you'll also have heating
If u want less heating flash thermal mod but I'll reduce performance
