Hi all,
I have a rooted phone with Acid audio Mod but still find the in call volume when speaking to someone quite low, is there any way to increase this?
on my SG3 i use to have STweaks which had a option for this if i remember correctly, not sure if this would work on the Note 2?
does the Megabass mod increase in call volume?
any feedback appreciated?
I don't know but the 'volume boost' feature is enough for more than loud volume, no need to flash any mods. Besides they distort the volume always.

hi,
where can i find this feature?
thanks
Install this sound mod from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32538351&postcount=16. Unzip it and paste in sytem/etc. First backup the original default_gain.conf.
Hi all!
With the help of this forum I managed to get CM 10.2 (TeamCanjica) working an my Ace 2! Hurray!! This breathed new life into my smartphone!
Right now I have the minor problem that the volume (loudness) of the music is too low when using headphones.
There are some apps in the google play store but these are adressed to Gingerbread not Jelly Bean. So they will not help I guess.
I suspected some settings in a system file, made a search and found these threads:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2400231
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2168836
But both threads mention files or directories which I do not find in my system directories (using the file explorer of CM).
Does anybody know where I can find the right files containing the volume settings in CM 10.2 (TeamCanjica)?
Maybe its silly question but do You set full permission in file manager options ?
While the listening music you can try slightly turn headphone jack. This may be help to you. I experienced this problem and solved with this way. By the way you can find and tune some sound settings in Sound Manager (Headphone / Speaker / Bluetooth etc.)

Full permission to what? As mentioned above I did not find any of the config files which were describes in the links above.
I guess I first have to find these config files. In CM 10.2 for Ace 2 they seem to be at an other place or have an other file name.

Thanks, I will try that.
Regarding the sound settings I have already found these sound settings. I turned off the sound limiter in the settings and pushed the volume up toas far as it will go. But unfortunately the volume is still too low. When using the headphones with an older Ipod Touch I hear the music significantly louder.
Hi. I have same problem. After try few mods like awesomebeats (after flash I have bootloop) I found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2203255 - you can change setting and add few feature to sound driver. It's work great for our problem.
Hey guys, anyone using GravityBox to enable the option to increase the volume steps (in media) ?
Does this actually increase the maximum volume? The output is really poor (quiet) compared to my old Samsung GS2.
Or do I have to edit some system file to increase the parameters?
No it doesn't increase the maximum volume, it just adds more steps until you reach maximum.
For those interested, I just found this from Auras on these XDA forums, originally for Z1 but also for Z1C ... increase volume mod

I have no idea about the code.
If you are not able to do it your way, as an alternative, you can install a custom kernel with audio tweaks and increase the volume through that.

Does anyone know how to increase headphone audio on rooted stable OOS?
Or does anyone know the difference between mixer_paths.xml and mixer_paths_tasha.xml ?
I dont wanna install ARISE, it makes sound quality worse. Even with only upping the audio it makes it worse.
I dont wanna install a custom kernel as well.
What i would like to do is mess with a file like mixer_paths.xml, edit a few lines and get a higher audio on jack for music.
That's all i want higher audio for music.
Is that even possible or do i need a custom kernel?
As we all know ,zuk z2 plus has a very low speaker and ear piece.
People usually use Dolpy Atmos module to make the volume louder . It works , but I tried different versions of it but the only one that worked for me was the nougat version and now I'm stuck with android nougat because the loud volume is very important for me.
What do you use to make uour volume louder guys ? I want to update to pie but all the roms I tested have a really low volume .

1.download a file explorer
2.Go to *root* > vendor > etc
3. Open mixer_paths_tasha.xml in editor.
4. To increase speaker volume -
Find "RX7 DIGITAL VOLUME" and change it's value from 84 to 87
5 to increase earpiece volume -
