I installed LineageOs 15.1 on my spare S5 (actually, upgraded from 14.1), and i get "update check failed, check your internet connection" when I try to check for newer lineage updates.
Shouldn't that be "your device is up to date"?
Any ideas?

Your best bet is to post this question within the following Official LineageOS thread that's specific to your device.

Hi. The phone is an LG V20, US996. Today i updated LineageOS when the notification showed up. The update didn't work automatically, so i updated it manually (Installed update located in /data/lineageos_updates via twrp 3.0.2-1). That stuck the device into bootloop...

Hi , is it a possibility to get the custom rom for my Tecno Spark 4 Lite and TWRP recovery ... please help me

Hey. I also have a Tecno spark 4 lite and I have manage to Port a TWRP recovery for it:laugh:, very proud of myself, as it was my first try to Port a recovery. Soon I was upload it and provide a link here.
For custom rom use GSI, I am using Phhusson Quack AOSP GSI and it is a good daily driver. For any questions related to this just PM me

What GSI version did you install? Did you also use the vndklite image?
I'm seeking to install an Android 11 based GSI on my Tecno Spark 4 Air (KC6)
Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

I have tried both vndk and vndk-lite version. Both work flawlessly on my device. Also GSI are generic so there is no" based on KC6" GSI. Look some tutorials on how to install GSI on youtube.

I got to install phhusson's vndklite GSI on the phone and almost everything worked except MTP. Did you face the same challenge?
I also tried other GSI builds like Andy Yan's unofficial Lineage in which MTP functioned correctly and Pixel experience managed by Ponces. (This one was very unstable for me)
Btw, are there major differences between the vndklite and vndk images?
Thanks

Has anyone had success in installing TWRP on their Edge X30s? I have a XT2201-6 model (Under display camera edition) and couldn't find it listed on the TWRP devices list. It does have a Motorola Edge though. If anyone has had success in installing TWRP, can you please share the TWRP image you used? Thank you
No TWRP currently, trying to building one but not successful yet.

My system is LineageOS 20. After using the 'fastboot boot' command, TWRP did not start and the device shut down directly.

Download Lineage Recovery. Simply download the latest recovery file, named boot.img.

According to the installation guide, you should use LineageOS Recovery. Why did you want to use TWRP?

I have successfully installed LineageOS, and I need TWRP for decrypting data and file management
Excuse my bad English.
Oh, I see. Did you get the TWRP from a post on this forum? If so, I would recommend you to ask your question in that post because there are real users, who can help you.

I wonder why do you want to do this. You can manage your files on LineageOS.
