Is their a way to turn off auto brightness? It is very annoying seeing the brightness level change so rapidly and I can't believe SE haven't picked up on this problem.
How do you guys manage with it?
Search the market for "Disable Auto Brightness Xperia", you'll need root though!

Click to collapse
Is it something you use? Do you notice the rapid brightness changing with autobrightness on to?
Thanks

Because there isn't.
I was just about to say... Cause I'd have it on and I can safely say there's no option for it on STOCK... It's manual control.
Can someone in the direction to fix my auto rotation on my t-mobile note 3
Have you checked to make sure auto rotate is on? If so, have you tried rebooting?

I have a s8+ from Verizon and whenever I enable screen rotation, it doesn't rotate, and if it does it takes a long time to change orientation, and it gets stuck in that orientation until I turn screen rotation off. And this is with all apps, it's not that bad on YouTube but all other apps it struggles. Has anyone had this problem?
I have the same issue and all I can suggest is a temporary fix. Install xposed and get forced screen rotation mod. I also added the menu button to my navbar through GravityBox and assigned screen rotation to the long press, for quick access
I did and I fixed it. In the quick settings panel click the icon that says Portrait.
EDIT:
I misread the original post. My solution may not apply to your problem. Mine was not rotating and I couldn't find the setting anywhere! I was looking for the screen rotation icon - not a "portrait" icon.
