Apn save

Hi.
I tried different roms but when i create and set an apn i cannot save it
Help me please

APNs can only be saved when there is a successful connection to the mobile operator. Usually you will not need to create or save an APN since this info is downloaded from the network on connection.
If you can't connect to the internet over 3G, first try to search the mobile operators. If you get an error, your 3G stick is not recognized. If you get a list of mobile operators but no internet connection, your SIM is not recognized, maybe you are trying to use a SIM from one network with a stick locked to another network. Hope this helps.

There is no comprehensive list of compatible modems so it's hard to say. Better to try out and report your findings to the community.
Manufacturer ROMs don't give access to mobile network settings, use this app or similar.
Both Malaysk and Booroondook included this functionality in their ROMs.
Checking if your 3G/4G modem works is pretty simple: go to Mobile Network Settings and click on Mobile Operators. If the stick works you will eventually get a list of mobile operators active in the area, If it does not you will get an error.

Tethering issue

When I activate my hotspot, I can connect other devices but they all display connect/no internet... Anyone having this issue. My sim works fine in my s8 and my leeco let pro 3 with no tethering issues.

Fixed it... Was an apn setting that was off

Which one? Having the same problem.

The us variation... Only way I got it to work was to set the correct APN and restart every time you want to use tethering

I put my sim in my s8 and copied the apn settings...

Ok new "temp" fix I should say... Set the apn type to "default,dun"

I just bought honor 7x and I am facing issues with hotspot. I cannot connect my laptop with the hotspot. Actually its connecting but the it shows " no internet access" every time I connect. I cannot access the internet. I have tried every "Broadcast channel", but it still wont connect to the internet. I also copied the apn setting from my older phone, but still nothing. Is there a solution to this problem. Also sometimes it connects to the internet but again turns to "limited" by itself. Please help me solve the issue.

No network detected - 7T

Hi All,
I am based in Sydney, just wondering if any of you faced any issues with the network/sim initially with the 7T ?
got a oneplus 7T couple of months back (from India) and once i insert the sims they get recognised as active sims but there is no network detected at all. Have done everything possible > network refresh, reset the phone few times.. nothing has worked.
Is there a possibility that it will work only with Indian mobile networks ?
But currently using a oneplus 5T, again purchased in India 3 years back, no issues with this phone at all.
any suggestions greatly appreciated !

have tried that few times as well.
when i try #*#*4663*#*# and check the Phone info the Mobile Radio Power is off.
Not able to enable that.
voice service : Radio Off
Current network: blank
Should i change the preferred network type?
Currently it is: LTE/TDSCDMA/CDMA/EvDo/GSM/WCDMA

Question Data/Connection Issue?

Hi, I have been using this phone for like the past 2 months or so and noticed that when I am on data, my apps can't connect to my lte or mobile plan. Does anybody else have this problem? I have to restart my phone every time this happens and find it annoying. The apps I mainly use and have this problem are discord, reddit, and some mobile games.

I had this happen. Turn off smart 5G

Settings > dual cards and mobile networks > smart 5g > off

That doesn't work for mine I've tried Network switching disabling the 5G double checks my APN settings. I'm on MetroPCS which I know is missing a few bands but I don't have call or message problems and I can use Google or chrome and it works just the apps won't use data

Question How to quick switch DATA between the SIM

As the title suggests, I ask you more experts if there is a quick way to quickly switch from a data connection on SIM1 to a data connection on SIM2 without having to first open all the submenus until you reach that of the sim on which to activate data traffic.
To do this I currently see no better solution than to browse the Menu: settings - internet network - sim - simX - Mobile data button - confirm by pressing ok
(instead for example on Xiaomi and Oneplus there is a toggle in the quick settings for the same android version)
If it doesn't exist, is there a way to retrieve it or a 3rd party application to use a widget?

Change your phone for a OnePlus. with pixel you never will receive awesome features like these, google just provide a generic android with a good camera...

i'm still waiting for EE to not F-up my esim delivery so i can't yet comment on how it works on the 6 pro but on my old phone, (galaxy s20 fe 5g) there is an seperate menu called sim manager that gives you the option to chose wich sim to use for data calls and text and there is a toggle to use the other sim if one sim has no data connection.
