[MOD] CM9/ICS 4.0.4 Blue icons

Updated my previous thread.
For those how want to change the system and some gapps icons on CM9/ICS 4.0.4, I changed them to ICS blue:

Edit: I toke out the G+, G Galery and the G Music, they were FC a lot... I you want to update de icons of the the G+ e G Music apps (with bue icons), here is a link to the apk, must unistall them first using titatium backup or other similar way: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/32615210/Google Play Music 4.1.513.apk and http://dl.dropbox.com/u/32615210/Google Plus 2.4.1.271037.apk.

Sure...CM9=AOKP... system base.

Very nice OP, but I tried to flash only the music app (cause I hate that new gold icon) deleting all the other apps in "/apps" and the flash failed so I'm asking if you can make a package with only the music app or link me to a guide to learn how to do it myself

Had the icons here form an previous pack that I made... don´t know the source now... ti passed a long time ago...
The CMW pack is fixed, no FC now.

If you want only the Music Apk, unistall the previous one with titanium backup or android toolbox optimizer, or deleting it with rootexplorer form data/app... And install the apk that is in the last bit of the 1st post.
Sorry about the FC, it´s fixed now, all aps that are flashable run, and for G+ and GMusic thats the way to go.

You can try, but the base of the system apps is from Android Open Source Project 4.0.4...
Make a nandroid backup, flash... if it doesn´t work... restore it...

i m on hydrog3n10/4 some app r work; camera, messaging, calendar, email, phone, people
employed; play store, gallery, g+, music(cm)
can ya fix it those icons ?

It wont work coz Sony uses its own unique method of signing those themes.. Hence we need root to make them work.. Big companies like KnowItMobile get approved by Sony officially i.e they get signed by Sony.. So their themes work without root..

My Z1 compact have rooted and superuser mod, then put the file on system/app, but the icon not changed in my phone? any other suggestion dude?

me too, my Sony Xperia ZR 4.4.2 root, deodex, superuser mod , patch to Android but I'm trying install as nomal app or put the apk in system apps , nothing changed except background wallpaper & screen lock wallpaper

Install the apk and then push it to System/Apps with Permissions - r-w-r-r ... Reboot..!!

Its working fine for me, try again by removing then redownload the apk from thread then install it as normal apk, AND DONT MOVE TO SYSTEM OR ANYWHERE ELSE MANUALLY!!

First off i'd like to thank you for the amazing themes! i'm using the dark blue since i installed lollipop and i don't plan on changing to any other theme! so thanks for that!

So it can be done. But is a bug. navi buttons operate in almost all the app but as you enter the album returned to the stock. This is a bug that can not be circumvented without modifying SystemUI.apk
I do Themes for all. and I do not really want to change the current versions.
try to find a program that changes the buttons, I know some people do that

Edit: Thanks to your advice i managed to modify my navbar by editing the systemui, got my navbar working flawlessly without any bugs and using your theme, thank you very much

New Colors rolling on Playstore

I'm now on 23.1.A.1.28 Z2 firmware and for the first time trying your theme (black cyan), something is not working as it should. The quick settings stay grey instead of being black.

No need to reboot after applay Theme.

I've tried to reboot, even wiped cache & dalvik after simple reboot.
I'm on French customized. 28.

If you change those colors you need Root and mod SystemUi

The thing is I didn't tried on deodex rom. Worked on odex rom. But you can give it a try. And for not flashing every file u can just do this
1.extract the zip
2.delete the files you don't want in system folder
3. Select the two folder and compress it in zip.
4.then Flash
Or u can replace them in system apps too. But I'm not sure of that. Cause in lollipop many times I got bootloop while doing that

Install it fresh, don't update from previous Pixel Launcher. I've not yet tested in AEX ROM, but it's working great on rest of the ROMs. I'm currently running Bootleggers.

AOSPExtended ROM has its own Pixel Launcher that cannot be removed/disabled. Therefore, I cannot install from fresh either.

You have to install another launcher to be able to switch and uninstall it ...
Nova launcher for example then you go in the settings applications you click on pixel launcher and there you click to set nova by default ... and there you can remove pixel :highfive:

I made a backup of it and then uninstalled in order to check this one.
As our friend told you in the last post, be sure to have at least another launcher installed, or a file explorer already opened, otherwise you'll have to manage it all from lockscreen's settings (on status bar) or install from ADB.
However, in this launcher you'll loose some features like changing app icons and other things AEX Pixel Launcher is already able to.
They aren't the same project, but are based on a common launcher (probably changing signature, while keeping the same label). That's the possible reason why you can't keep installed both of them.

it is working however the icons are not changing. icons are that square ugly sometimes smaller... any fix.
icons are not changing from the settings menu.
