Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has figured out how to alter what is shown in case window. It shows unread text messages but I really only use what's app so would prefer to see that. Thanks, Hebs.
When i open cover, it shows me always telephone, not homescreen. How can i change that?

I think you need to try either factory reset or Eragon ROM v4 just released today.

Try installing the eragon rom, this fixed the light sensor issue for me.

I never had this problem, which ROM version are you running?
I switched to Eragon ROM caused by some bugs in the Stock ROM.
There is a short page with Infos for P8000 Users in german managed by jegi0605:

Perhaps you can try a different launcher first?
Good Idea. Use Nova. Try another...

My current clock is as shown. I have tried jegi0605's app and the clocks look great......but I would really like to keep my digital clock and change the notification aspects. The missed calls icon/feature is useful but I rarely use messenger so I would like to change that icon/feature to WhatsApp unread messages count - or perhaps integrate the icons into jegi0605's clock?
Dear all, when I started for the first time the Nexus 5X I was impressed by the good quality of the camera and the really nice pictures that I did with it.
After installation of cyanogenmod I 'm really disappointed to lost the possibility to use the original camera.
I tried to get the apk provided by bsaidmalta in another thread, but this one crashes every time you start it.
I guess this is because I use Android 6.0.1.
It will be great if some one may give me the way to get back this camera apk working with cyanogenmod, or another camera apk (I do not have google account, and use F-droid) able to take good pictures.
Install this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3279714, it works like a charm

Many Thanks, I try it soon
Let's start looking for a working gcam or maybe even devs can gather here to play with gcam on this phone.
I have a lease with T-Mobile and will only be in this phone for a month but thought, hey why not look for a working gcam before I go back to the S9+. The low light on the G7 is terrible compared to the S9+. But maybe gcam will help.
I'll be in the lookout for a working one. Post on the thread of you find one!
Looks like there is a simular thread already up.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g7-thinq/help/google-camera-lg-g7-t3801781
Devs can't gather there!!! Lol jk
Tried many GCam apks from different devs yesterday, unfortunately no one worked. Still looking for a working apk too.

I'd rather see a V30 ThinQ Camera Port. I miss having the ability to switch between the Narrow and Wide angle lens when recording video. The V35 comes with the same G7 software so it's the same issues. it's missing all the V30 camera functions and extra modes which sucks so bad imo!
Portrait mode on this phone is way better than the GCam portrait mode.
any camera apps that might help prevent some of the highlight blowout and general lighting issues with this camera?
So... I tried tons of version, but I wasn't able to find one working properly, or HDR+ doesn't work or the cam crashes and it's impossible to use the app.
I followed a bit OP6 GCam thread, where @Arnova8G2 and @cstark27 are trying to making a working version for OP6 and for SD845 in general. I read that in that thread they only support that phone, but maybe if we tag them and ask nicely for some help they will help us (and obviously we will have to help them with logs/infos etc.).

So, as @cstark27 suggested to me, I took a logcat of the app crash. The app is latest @Arnova8G2 GCam for OP6 (GCam_5.3.015-Pixel3Mod-Arnova8G2-v4Beta4.apk), and it crashes immediately after opening it. Hope it can help you, @Arnova8G2, let me know if you need something else. Thank you for your time, your work and all the efforts you put in making GCam working in so many devices.

EDIT: some more details. Last working version by you or by cstark27 is this: https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/OP6v0.3_MGC_5.1.018_FINAL_3.4A.apk , but it has strong issues with tints.
Every other version you or cstark have released after this one crashes immediately like in the log I attached. With apk made by other devs (such as with latest from BSG: https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/MGC_3.2.045_MiMAX2_2.apk) app isn't crashing, but camera is usable (and it seems that everything is working in this case) only in non-HDR configurations: when you choose an HDR config, you can encounter two kind of issue
- the preview is completely black, and you can't take any pic;
- the preview freezes continuously, and refreshes only every 4/5 seconds and just for a while (moreover, even when you're able to take pic in this way, it always generates corrupted files).
I hope I've been understandable, my English isn't perfect... Once again, if you need something I'll be glad to help. Have a nice weekend!
The July 22nd version for other 845 devices here:- https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/themes/oneplus-6-google-camera-port-t3797544 seems to work better than any I've tried yet (although not tested Portrait yet)
One don't really need GCam port for G7 much. It's camera is on par with Pixel 2 as is, and soon there will be update for low light modes which is available for 710N already

Try A Better Camera with Supersensor mode enabled. I'm interested in results

That's really odd, for me it crashes as soon as I try to open it. Which G7 variant do you have?

Yup, my fault. Was trying specific versions for OP6, then just tried https://drive.google.com/file/d/19cdbZ_TlhhynmLdZterd1zxdBN4hLSVD/view?usp=drivesdk (the one you were talking about) and seems to work pretty fine.
I will test more in-depth though. Thank you @Arnova8G2 and @cstark27!

Wide angle test version: https://drive.google.com/file/d/14Eht4rXLfGUcNHmjUAJPc3_I_83tCDHa/view?usp=drivesdk
Install, open settings of app then back to camera and Force close. You may also try Pixel ZSL config in the BSG settings. It seemed more reliable on my OnePlus 6.

I'm not able to install it, everytime the phone says "app not installed". Maybe it's something dumb, but I can't go over this.

I think I forgot to change a name so it's probably conflicting. Try to uninstall the other version for now, just to test.

Was thinking about trying it. I can confirm it works and it seems to work even pretty well, more or less as the normal lens does: colors seem ok, preview in front camera freezes with every configurations with HDR+ (same as what happened with rear camera in previous versions), portrait mode doesn't work nor with back nor woth front camera and smartburst mode makes camera crashing irredeemably until a fresh installation. This short list refers both to standard version and to wide version.
Probably I'm missing something, I hadn't the opportunity to test in-depth.
I will update and give more feedback while using them. Thank very much for your work, great job!

Fixed the install interference. Uninstall any Google Camera you have. Try this one and try the front camera. You should be able to install the version quoted above for the standard lens, alongside this wide version. https://drive.google.com/open?id=14Eht4rXLfGUcNHmjUAJPc3_I_83tCDHa
