So, I installed philz recovery on my htc desire 816g. And decided to flash this rom-

The recovery showed that there is an error in the file. I had completely wiped my stock rom and had forgot to take backup. After showing that error, the recovery automatically rebooted the device without an os. It is now stuck in bootloop and it is not being detected by my laptop via adb. Please help!!

i think i f.... bricked my phone. i was tryin to install rd miui. did a fastboot flash boot boot.img, fastboot clear cache, than booted into recovery and installed the miui zip. when i restarted my phone, it wont open, it got stuck on htc logo. got back to recovery, insalled the last rom i had, but nothing. again stucked on htc logo. what can i do? help me guys
Install the boot.img for your last ROM.
Install the stock kernel(boot.img)
for any rom you install you should flash boot for that rom or you will stuck at htc logo.
i have completely messed up my HTC One M9. My HTC has got cynagen mod 13 recovery and no os i tried to install roms and a stock rom through adb but it keeps on failing and whenever I install a new recovery like twrp it fails to load and my htc is just stuck on the booting screen. I have tried adb, cynagen recovery, twrp recovery (didn't turn on), custom roms,stock rom, adb sideload and it always fails i need help guys.
Download the RUU for your device from htcs website then boot to download mode. This will wipe everything and get you back to stock.
I wipe reset the phone and after that it just got stuck at boot logo. I've tried many methods to revise it but couldn't so I'm hoping someone here can help. I've tried to flash many different CWM recoveries and after each flash, it says flash OK but It wouldn't boot to CWM recovery. It just got stuck at logo. Then I flash back the stock recovery and it got back the stock recovery. I couldn't copy any file to the phone. When I plug in the phone to PC, it only sees the CD drive of the phone with driver setup. How do I revise this phone? Thanks

same issue at my end.
Was trying to update the supersu binary by installing the updated zip in recovery. On reboot it was stuck in a boot loop. First off nothing else worked, then fastboot worked and then 10 mins later twrp recovery started working. I tried to restore a backed up image but still got boot loop. Then tried to flash a rom I had on sdcard - still boot loopy. Tried to go the miflash tool root but couldn't get it to find the phone despite it appearing in explorer. Copied stock miui zip onto sc card from pc and installed but still same problem. Standard dalvik/cache wipe before and after each install. Now I'm struggling to get recovery up.
Help - haven't managed to totally brick something despite many years of tinkering. :/
PS. I can still get fastboot up. Now when I try to get recovery up the screen goes black and I have to reboot.
