Confusion about Project Treble - Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Questions & Answers

Redmi note 5 Pro supports project treble but it have only one partition and therefore is included in A-only devices. Due to this reason, it does not support seamless updates.
Then what is use of project treble support to redmi note 5 Pro? How will it work for the specific device?

Treble isn't for seamless. Treble allows custom rom developers and OEMs to develop much faster as drivers and such are all stored in the vendor partition and GSIs (Generic System Images) can easily reference to these.

Project Treble for MIUI with OREO?

Redmi Note 5 Pro as the first device got official support for Project Treble along with the upgrade to Oreo 8.1. Do you think that the other devices that will be updated to Oreo will also get support? Mi5 will receive OREO, tests are underway. I hope that Mi5s too. It is possible that with the introduction of Project Treble. This would extend the life of the device and accelerate the updating of the android.

Redmi Note 5 AI latest miui version. Mine is different
Why?
Different interface in the app, but they both say the same. Only an A-partition, so only partly treble support.

Suggest Android 11 ROM supporting VoWifi and encryption

Hi all,
I am looking to try out Android 11 ROMs for my 5t which should support encryption and VoWifi.
I live in an area where network is quite patchy so VoWifi is a MUSt for me and secondly I need a daily driver so that my office apps can run too which mandate encryption policy.
Some quick pointers would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance
Have you tried latest crdroid?
crDroid.net - Download crDroid for supported devices
official crDroid ROM website
crdroid.net
Flash with flamegapps. Working fine for me with encryption & vowifi (which I use of & on but not often)

Question Android Version Mismatch With Kernel Version

I reflashed my S22 recently, but realized that the Android Version (13) does not match with Kernel Version (Android 12-9).
My S22 is Snapdragon variant, from Singapore. (not sure if it because I flashed incorrect firmware)
Mainly is because I encounter that Samsung Pay Transit card no longer work while screen is off.
Could this be an issue, and is it recommended that I reflash the latest firmware again?

The kernel version should not affect any functionality.
The S22 uses android common kernels(GKI) which is why it seems wrong/out-of-date.
Per the Android OS developer website, android12-5.10 is a supported kernel for use with Android 13.

GPU
Wifi
Buletooth
not done:

battery

Congratulations, you may want to post some images for others to try.
