Since the full screen gesture is not yet supported for AndroidOne user and also Mi A2 lite especially . it will be a waste not to utilise the full scree with notch.

HI , The only issue with the link you click on the word Tutorial for the explanation for non - rooted phones and it takes you to 24 pages of various non related methods for other android based methods....

Thx, method 2 works for me, and i found an additionally "Power OFF-Switch" on the Navbar.
For me the best and fastest method to turn off the display without the Powerbutton AND it works perfect together with the Fingerprintsensor. :highfive:

Glad to hear that its working . at the very least . this will helps us to get an immersive mode out of Mi A2 Lite .
Hopefully the Android Pie will actually supports phone with Notch.

I tried this app some time ago, and for some unknown reason I didn't like it.
But trying again yesterday I found it great

u need to root ur device first for getting started

after rooting uh have to install XPOSED FRAMEWORK after that all uh have to install is "XBLAST" tools now uh can simply change or modify ur status baar notification etc simple way

i donot want lose my guaranty

bro rooting does violets ur guarantee but u can UN ROOT ur device for getting the guarantee back :good:
and yes many are facing this error due to :-
1. u have not downloaded from official nokia website! (u've downloaded and flashed the rooted version of software
2.the files were missing from the updates

just recover from the backup u've earlier created and den just by using wifi ,do software update from there n let the system download 14mb+ file and then install

Without root, the options for changing the status bar are very few. You can use any 3rd party app only.
However, with root, you can access alot of other things. As the dev above told you, you can unroot your phone at any given time to get your guarantee back.
My advice? Root your device and do as bunty786 told you. When you want to get your guarantee back, you simply PM me and I'll tell you how to do that step by step.

Data Toggle requires moving to System/App, if you're on 5.0+ .

I'm really sorry for the delay, but the update is becoming bigger and bigger. ( in more awesome way)
Update contains the following :
Battery Info toggle.
Power Toggle (Power Off, Reboot, Soft Reboot, Reboot To Main Recovery, Reboot to CWM, Reboot to TWRP, Reboot to Philz, Reboot to Bootloader, Reboot to Fastboot).
Connection Mode Toggle ( MTP / MISC ) .
USB Debugging .
Brightness .
Re-Arrange feature ( Yaaay ) .
Fixed the slowness you may face when opening the Small App.
First time opening will ask you for root permissions, if you accepted / denied some toggles may not be there .
If the app isn't in system/app with "QuickToggles/QuickToggles.apk" path or any similar path, Some toggles may not be there too ( it's like this to not make the app buggy or drive you nuts when you open it ) .
When ?
I'm having a problem on saving re-arranged toggles position when restarting the small app ( no yaaay ), gonna solve it and upload the update .
Let me know if you got any Toggles suggestions, btw .. How about a "profile" toggle?

Its OS Version isn't supported, You can install a CM11/CM12 Custom ROM, then install Sony Small Apps patch and you will have the small apps .

Also, I'm getting reports about NullPointerException but the report doesn't say what/where it's happening, So if you please send a comment with the report to describe the issue .

I'm running CM12.1 on my ray. I tried installing from attachment, it says app not installed. Playstore says device isn't compatible.

I was excited when Sony started 6.0.1 update but the white search bar in the new Xperia launcher was a con according to me. I loved the transparent menu. And now i figured a way to remove Search Bar from launcher.
The best way to remove search bar is to replace your launcher with customized one .
Follow the below steps.
Step 1 ) Download Xperia Home Alternative ( Customized )

@heriskh go to settings>apps> on top right menu (three dots next to settings) show system find pixel app and grant all permissions thats it. It should be working now.

@akaSStalkALEX this posst is for how to enable google assistant not the launcher. And for that also you need to have custom recovery installed and its for androind 7.0+.
Heres apk you can install dont need root just google page on left is not working it needs to be installed as system app to be working.

I granted all the permissions already and its still not working. I am using xperia z2 existenz 5.0 deodexed
after opening the menu the background is white in colour .. that's pretty annoying , will it be possible for me to change it to black , or may be transparent ??
Works like a charm on my Z3 existenz 5.6.5 no problem at all

How come it only has 4 icons in dock and not 5. Grid size is also 4x5
I revert back to leaked Launcher3 coz have 5 apps on the dock
simple solution for who want 5 apps on te dock is edit the display density to 280 dpi
unrooted device: adb shell wm density 280
Plz add 4x5 drawer app and hide app options
Everything working fine on my Z5.

Reduce your device's dpi to a lower dpi than the current one.

Is it possible under the current version Open Beta 12 to see the notifications on the lockscreen without their contents? For example at Whatsapp which person has written but not the content.

It's just set to "hide sensitive notifications content" inside the notifications settings and press the gear on the top.
You can find it in Notification. It gives you per-app control.
Thanx for your answers . I don't have the Option " hide sensitive notifications Content " I look in Apps and Permissions and "Whatsapp" gives me only 5 Variants for Notifications.
