i have just installed the masik rom for the first time but i could not type my mi account password when it asks for it because the keyboard is in russian so anyone have any idea about how can i type it

As as I tested, better battery life, less awake, smoother and stable. I'm looking forward to the the next Masik based on Miui 10 8.8.x

Faced the same problem. Connected an external keyboard via OTG and then typed the password. Done.

I installed masik 2.3 and magisk. then I modified dolby atmos and I found out that every notification sound stopped. and the same for alarms and the ringtones, all these stopped. and some of them worked partially after removing the dolby.

Maybe you should dirty flash the ROM to recover the notification sounds. Then you can try other mods like viper4android. How is the overall feeling and performance of masik 2.3?

No big changes between masik 2.3 ans 2.2 but the camera where they removed AI option, and the heat of the device got lower somehow.

I tried to install xposed module via magisk. My mobile wasnt starting. So i uninstalled and reinstalled magisk via twrp and all ok

You can't have xposed on miui 10, at least for whyred. It gives bootloop.

well i never measure since i charge it very often, i use my phone mainly for music, and miui produce the best sound quality with piston2 or 3 of course with viperfx+viperxhifi, other sound mod is just not good for my ears

I ve changed roms (os) on my redmi 1s for more than 20 times. i didnt get this bug on miui and cm12.1
But on cm11 i got this bug. In miui disable that security app which will close the music player when u lock ur phone.

Thanks for your help but I prefer not to risk more. I had a serious problem a few days ago with a very serious bootlop and I do not want to suffer again. I'd rather wait for a Dolby Atmos sure 100% without scares

Ok I will try when I will be back on stock ROM and will let you know the working Dolby atmos..
But On oB8 it was working great..I hv used Dolby on op5t for more than 15 days and was awesome :laugh:

Indeed, but I have fixed that by removing the system app 'Security'. This app controls the permissions and thats the reason that notifications do not come.
After deleting this system app. Im getting every notification again?
I have dowloaded another security app from playstore called Malware Bytes. Its for security and anti virus. Everything is working great now.

I have tried many custom roms. I actually wanted to go back stock but failed on that.
Just a tip if you remove the "Security" app, make a couple of reboots. And you will not able to access permissions page thru Setting. But I can a sure you, if a app needs permission for notification it will ask you for it and you can grant it. Works flawless.
