Hey! So today i received my Pixel XL today. So far i'm pretty happy ^^ but a thing that bothers me when i got it was the charge-brick. I have seen some videos on YouTube showing that u get a white brick with a black top (on the Quite-black Pixel, the one i have) But when got mine it was a rosegold one with a blue circle light on top when its plugged in. So what's up with that? Is it normal that i received that one or should i have received the white one? I bought this phone from a "electrical store" that sells all kinds of electronics

The one you received is not an official charger. The official OEM charger is the white one with the black top that you were describing.

Well i bought it on a retail store so. They even had the Nexus 6P too when it was like 1-2 years old, but not anymore ofc cause of the Pixel i would imagine

Who ever is the reseller for those devices is defiantly swapping out the genuine chargers with some counterfeit ones, The wacky color and LED gives it away non of that is present on the genuine one

Good idea, but i wanna keep it low-cost, and i dont like cases that make the phone even bigger, I like it the way i planned

They didnt ship my order yet (UGH) but it will be soon, one item was out of stock and is in stock again, so lets hope.

my current version has hboot that is still not unlocked and pink and purple hue. i might as well take the risk.
i am hoping for the lower hboot and no camera issue, wish me luck.

Good luck! Last Blue one I got from VZW still had 4.2.2 and exploitable bootloader. But a nice dead pixel on the screen and jagged edges and huge ass gaps.

I have the blue BB version so they have replacements for them as well. The lower right hand corner has a big ass gap and you can feel the jagged edge when you run your finger along it. Also the screen and bottom grill has a big ass gap you can stand a playing card up in it trololol.

Use this http://219.80.249.25/IMEIQuery/IMEIQuery.aspx?ct=zh-CN and you can see your build date. The Blue HTC One's I got from Verizon were built on 9/25/13. Month later than the one I got from Best Buy. Seems the blue ones are phones set aside by the manufacturer for warranty exchanges I think.
Left one is from Verizon right is Best Buy. Bit yellowish on the screen from Verizon but people are saying that will go away as it can be attributed to the adhesive. There seems to be no difference in games and videos for coloration.

Yeah I went to sc and asked want a new white back and paid then INR 183/- approx 3$.
I have the black version but I'm using the red spigen case which makes it looks pretty similar. I really love the looks of it.

But I never saw red one in these stores

Yeah the Connect app is how you customize the watchfaces (changing colors of the second hand).

There's still hope - screen replacements!
Heard the Pixel 6 Pro is repairable. However, you have to enroll the fingerprint scanner which is easy with Google's tool.
True Google quoted about 240 to repair 189.99 plus vat I'm just using a HTC u11+ atm
You have two numbers in the bottom of your screenshot you might want to blur those out.
Sorry to see your pixel die, yes screen replacement is possible but to be honest, you can be refurbs for like £300 last time i checked.
probably cheaper on marketplace, so a replacement sounds sadly more economical. (as replacements also carries the risk of being done improperly/with substandard parts/ etc. etc.

Thank you IV edited the picture even though those were my dad's number they are in public domain as there his business numbers ye true Google quoted 189 then vat tax in top it's 243 close to that I wouldn't just go to after market I did check one of the partners and screen was like 249 from them ismash so it's cheaper though Google IV upgraded to the pixel 7 pro now got that coming Tuesday using a HTC u11+ for now also have a Sammy a40 from 18 and a HTC A9 to use in the meantime

Rip, try dev options to set other display cutout so phone avoids using as much of that part of the screen for now

Thank you IV edited the picture even though those were my dad's number they are in public domain as there his business numbers ye true Google quoted 189 then vat tax in top it's 243 close to that I wouldn't just go to after market I did check one of the partners and screen was like 249 from them ismash so it's cheaper though Google IV upgraded to the pixel 7 pro now got that coming Tuesday using a HTC u11+ for now also have a Sammy a40 from 18 and a HTC A9 to use in the meantime

Ye not long after posting the phone completely died I did change the cut out but died I think like 2 to 3 hours after

I have a Lumia 650, a34 or iPhone 8 if something were to happen to my 6pro. Probably look at getting another pixel from eBay if needed.
