Does Redmi note 8 have a treble (android 11 preview) rom? If so, please give the link. I've searched here and didn't find anything.

Updating tru OTA, unlocked bootloader.

I have a question about whether is it possible to update via OTA on miui 12.0.0.4 global on Redmi note 8 pro with bootloader unlocked. Will I be able to receive future updates and install without any problems? Upon checking my device's recovery, I have miui stock recovery version 3.0.

We recently reported about the MIUI 12 rollout for this particular popular smartphone, but it is only officially available to those who signed up for the Mi Pilot scheme. The warning, which was posted on the Arabic-language section of the Mi community forums, has been very blunt in advising non-Mi Pilot Redmi Note 8 Pro owners to resist the temptation of installing the MIUI 12 beta update.

Can I flash MIUI 12 rom on my Indian Note 8 pro model?

Hello members,
Can somebody conform me that its possible or safe to flash the official MIUI 12 rom available in XDA on the Indian variant Note 8 pro? Because the rom has mentioned as begonia which is a global variant firmware. I need to clarify so that things don't turn bad.

yes , as long as it's not beta and it's stable official and has fastboot rom. don't try to flash beta on mtk devices xiaomi already warned rn 8 pro users about it , even if it's stable beta , it's better to wait also xiaomi warned about messing with rn8 pro firmware.

But, you can install china beta rom over twrp, but its only english lang and of course china lang.
I hope so to end of August will come update for nonbeta users to

You can download a copy of your firmware and extract a copy of your build.prop from the firmware.

Google search for:
"Stock firmware for (your specific model number)"
That should find it if it is available, if it doesnt find anything then it probably isn't available for download.

Question Safety root for MIUI 13 ?

hello all, i'm looking for any safety method for root my Redmi Note 8 2021 at MIUI 13 android 12 without brick or encrypt files, I searched through several places and saw that they use it in different versions (miui 12.5 or less or using redmi note 8 normal)
I appreciate if someone can help me
And yes, i already have bootloader unlocked btw

13 can also be rooted with Magisk.
