Hello,
So i bought a brand new honor 10 device and I'm very fond of it.
As I began customizing the device to suit my needs and estetics I have encountered a little tiny but annoying AF problem
I have changed my theme to Pixel with substranium, andromeda and theme app.
I do not like the asymetric screen so I've hid the notch. It looks great and in every single app it works like a charm, but there is one place where it doesn't and I'm out of ideas how to deal with it.
Screenshot in the attachment.
Thanks in advance for help and cheers,

Okay, i'm sorry but its crap
just one language, you have to register and really crappy graphics
Thanks for sharing. Someone's clearly gone to a lot effort here - though it seems a shame to hide Android under a Windows skin!
Very interesting. Definitely a lot of work put into this. This is deinitely NOT sh*t as stated above. It does have a few issues most importantly rotation FCs.
If it allowed for moving the non maximized windows this would be extremely cool. Still playing, but probably not quite polished enough or full home replacement... BUT really close and really cool!.

Pretty true.
Id suggest not to play with system strings. It can be verry risky. Nice attempt tho. Need graphics look a bit too animated.
Thank you very much for all comment. At this time I have went back to Zeam Launcher already.
Ok it is fine
just for the fun

Hey guys!
i am having this black tinting on top of my screen, its bugging me alot on wallpapers,
is this the software fault of the hardware. i just got my op3 last week.
i am posting the screenshot.
You can't be serious!! That's definitely software. It's not even an issue. try some launcher settings or new launchers to get rid of that shadow. FYI, If it's a hardware, it won't appear on your screenshot.

Can't really make out. But if its in the screenshot..then it's software. If it's hardware you will have to click a photograph with another camera for it to be visible
Seems like your screen got cracked after a drop. Can you make another screenshot so we can confirm the cracks as well?
great! just was confirming, thanks

Yeah but Andromeda is an add-on to make substratum work. I have to stay plugged into my comp for it to work though. Once I set theme I'm good to go though.

Well I guess having to plug in to set the theme isnt so bad...
I ran into this problem yesterday and all I did was just ran the Andromeda script two times in a row and waited about 10 seconds and it was fine. Both Substratum and Andromeda have been updated since then so it may have just been a bug. The substratum app works great although there are some themes that apparently still require root to use (status bar changes like moving the clock to center). Over all im very happy with the results. Using Sai's Oreo black/teal theme and love it. Big thanks to those who made this possible
Yeah, it's still on the XDA Portal front page.
Is this just for unrooted? Substratum works fine rooted

yeah, this is for unrooted devices.
Yeah been using it since release, works like a dream for me. Don't have to stay plugged in myself either, only a reboot requires a re-run of the andromeda desktop client.
I started using it today but having the same issue with it only working while plugged to the PC. I tried it at least 5-6 times and ran it back to back, still goes to not authorized once I unplugged. But I like the theme so far and everything seems ok for now after I rebooted.

I've been trying it out.
Which black theme hasn't the fewest unintended UI issues? Black themes are nice, but it bugs me when I get white on white text, or my Keep note colors are messed up. I haven't yet tried Swift Black as everyone seems to love it, but I want one that just works. I don't have a ton of time for experimentation.
I'm also not interested in changing the look too much outside of coloring, like Substratum DAN does with all it's fonts and ugly (imo) color themes.
Swift black is the best black theme I found so far. Pitch black seems to be actively worked on but Google now home had black on black issue. Only issue with Swift black was inbox shows a white background once opening an email but it might not be the app's fault.

That's themed using Compound theme in the Play Store from Daniel Schott.
Do they have it working for Chromebooks? Where I can plug my Pixel XL to my Chromebook?

I went ahead and bit the bullet on Swift Black, and it's fantastic. Worth every penny. Really well thought out and few text coloration bugs

Just try wiping the data of the play store app, should solve those sort of issues with it.

No that doesn't fix it. I guess others have the same problem. There's a lot of us
So now that Substratum is working with Android 10 what themes are you guys using? I've tried Spectrum and Swift Black, but they still seem to have some quirks. To be expected at this stage of the game but I was wondering if any of you have found others that work better.
See attached screenshot, swift black is not compatible with Android 10 framework but a lot of the 3rd party apps are. I use it to fill in the gaps from Ethereal theme. Outline X is an extension to Ethereal.

Like mentioned above.. Swift black works well for all apps, but it hasn't been updated to theme the system UI.
Pitch Black just updated recently and supports Android 10 framework!! so i got that going again! my favorite theme.
Now just waiting for Sprite to get updated for Android 10.

Hi,
I don't use it as much as I used to on previous Android versions, but if you want a black theme with regular updates, try "Domination" from @davidwilson83 ?
Q stock is supported. But if errors occur, David usually answer emails pretty fast by the way.

Hey,
Glad to help.
I'm quite happy with this theme. My only concern was that it colors the settings icon in a single color. And Boom, Q came out and settings are black! Problem solved! ?
Cheers...

Try Swift Installer instead of Swift Black with Substratum Lite. Works perfectly fine on Android 10.
