Hello guys I have a question,
I want to buy the miband 1S (with heart rate monitor) and I'm particularly interested in running Mode that continuously measures the heartbeat.
I heard that you can activate this mode only if you own a smartphone xiaomi.
Since I have a Samsung device is available the modified app that allows all devices to use this feature?
let me know, thanks.
Hello. I have a s6 and the running mode seem to run. I didn't make a true run for the moment but the application find the gps and give the hearth rate.
I try to find a way to use the mi band as hearth rate monitor in runtastic but I didn't found for the moment. If someone can help...

i had sucessfully connect my mi band 1s(HRM) on a huawei honor 3x phone, with working continously measure heartbeat, i believe i have the same interest like you do, looking for a cheap continous HRM wirst band.
here is the apps i had test for continous heartbeat monitoring:
-runtastic pro(fail to connect)
-rubtastic mountain bike pro(fail to connect)
-runkeeper(fail too...)
the only working apps is Endomondo.
@kentdream
so you can confirm it works with endomondo?
How it works? I mean does it show heart rate in endomondo statistics?
I was using 1.8.111 mi fit app with no success .

I can't publish the link (new user of this forum) but just write "runkeeper mi band pulse" on Google
Hello All,
I just got a Mi band 1s ( HRM) from GearBeast, but i cannot detect it on the bluetooth scan from my xperia Z1compact.
The box and the band look legit ... so I was wondering if i am doing something wrong here.
And with the APP from "Mi Fit" seems to work (connected i don't know how)... which is very strange ( it finds my band by vibrating it, or i get the notification.... ) so it is weird....

I'm on RR v6.1.0 [8.1.0 Oreo] and using Google Camera v5.1.x
Just wanna know, is there any other new port available?
Thanks.
One more thing, Do we have any Xiaomi Camera port excluding the Mi A1 port.
:good:
Can anyone port the stock MIUI camera with dual camera support and potrait mode for the front camera. All the other apps I tried on my Redmi note 5 Pro running AOSP Extended are either unusable or really bad. So if anyone can port the stock camera app from MIUI it would be really great.
Peace
Once the Mi A2 Launches I will be porting it into a magisk module.
Since the A2 should use the same camera app the stock app that the RN5 uses, however the A2 will use stock android so the camera will not depend on miui functions/apps.

Thanks man really appreciate it. The MI A2 and A2 lite launched today and MI A2 lite has the same camera configuration as the Redmi Note 5 Pro (12mp+5mp) but it has a 5mp front camera

Yep just waiting on Xiaomi to post the stock rom files.
Just found this mod for Pocophone that allows to use fingerprint reader as shutter on Gcam mods (miui camera has that built in).
Tried it on my Mi Mix 2S and works flawlessly. Tested it with MGC_6.1.021_MI8_V2e.apk from B-S-G, on MIUI 10.2.2.0 (PDGMIXM) and works ok.
It doesnt seems to interfere with finger print unlocking nor fingerprint authorization on apps.
Here the link https://c.mi.com/thread-1777529-1-0.html and all credit are to the owner of the thread of course.
I stumbled upon the module yesterday and was wondering if it was working, but decided to hold off for a while and look if anyone had tried it before i am going to take a look,
Are there more people who've tried it for themselves? Want to know if the module is worth my time...
Does anyone know if there exists a port of the Redmi Camera for AOSP-based ROMs, or how difficult would be to create one? Cause I want to be able to take portraits.
I have tried installing Redmi Camera trough APKmirror but it didn't install, I have tried a lot of cameras but none of them worked; Google Camera had a lot o problems, like it didn't let me turn off HDR so photos took a long time to save, portraits would crash the app if I tried to open them before they finished processing, etc.
I really like AOSPExtended but the camera is a big no-no for me.
Pd. Srry for bad English [emoji37]

I saw miui camera ports from other phones. I don’t know about stability, but I can share it in mega.nz
Try using ANX camera.
There's no MIUI Camera port, but you can use ANX Camera, which is made like MIUI Camera
