Some of the LineageOS Firmware has this option but, you'll have to post your question within the Official LineageOS thread that's specific to your device for any support and guidance with this.
Good Luck!

This is not correct...
The member asked about a Non 3rd Party option and that's what you had provided but, there's a handful of other 3rd Party options that are available that wouldn't even require having XPosed (which is what Modules are developed to be used with).
A little searching would provide some other, Non XPosed 3rd Party options, that could work as well.

Hello, experts!
I need testers, review etc. for my freeware Android App “LS Calling Cards (Phone Cards)”.
The App allows you to easily call with pre-configure calling cards.
I added and continue to add some features that I, unfortunately, have not been able to find in other programs of this type.
Thank you in advance!
I hope that this program will be also useful for you!
I can test it. Send me a pm if u want it

My stock Moto G (2015) had the capability to select short or long DTMF tones. Maybe I am just missing it in Settings, but I can't find it in Lineage anywhere. I need this because I have an Interactive Voice Response system that is not recognizing my key-presses and just hangs up on me; other IVR systems work fine. I have to use my friends Samsung stock Android to make selections during a call in the meantime. Someone elsewhere suggested long pressing keys, but that didn't work either.

I already did that. I wasn't sure who would be responsible for adding such a feature or telling me where it is located, the main Lineage folks or the developer of my hardware, so I posted here as well.
It sounds like the DTMF tone length is exposed or hidden based on the contents of android_frameworks_base. Source: http://www.droidforums.net/threads/dtmf-tone-length.154484/#post-1600209http://
Short of building LineageOS myself, is there a fix for this problem?

See if you can locate it by the following...
Open your Dialer -> Settings -> Sounds and vibration -> Dialpad tone length (which is the DTMF options for Normal & Long tones).
Some devices have slightly different names/labels for them but, that's where you should be able to locate them.
Good Luck!

Sadly there is no such option or anything similar. I know the Stock ROM for my phone (G900V) does have it. Is it the case that for some devices, LineageOS exposes this option, while for others it does not?
As I mentioned above, it looks like exposing or hiding this option is in android_frameworks_base. Is there any way to request that this option be added back in to LineageOS?
Other than that, I guess I would just have to download other ROMs until I happened to find one that has that option exposed?

Take a look at the following thread and see if any of what's being mentioned will work for you too.

Thanks, I had tried the dialing code, it doesn't work on my phone. Calling the carrier was also ineffective.
I've reverted to Stock ROM to get that "DTMF duration" feature back. It's a real shame, I love LineageOS, but at the end of the day if I can't make phone calls it's not usable for me.
Is there anything that can be done to encourage the return of this menu option in LineageOS?

Unfortunately they have already stated that they don't do device and feature requests.
I'm sure that someone (Unofficially) is probably looking into developing some type of way in adding this feature.
Where there's enough of a Will and a Demand for something there's somebody who looks to make it happen.

Hello,
I'm proudly using Lineage 14.1 for a long time on my Honor 5X, but after all this time I'm forcing the problem with auto answer.
I'm trying to use this phone only as a SIP client (that option is built in and working so great), but I'd love to use Auto Call Answer option, which I'm not able to find.
Can anyone help me to locate this option (if there is any)?
Thank you very much.

Hi,
As of the last two LineageOS 14.1 updates (January 17th and 10th), I have a new problem when using the messaging app 'Signal'. Prior to the updates, video calling used to work flawlessly. Now, I can call a contact, talk to them, but the instant I press the 'video' button to enable my camera to start video chatting, the phone (Samsung S7 herolte) restarts. No warning, no error, it just restarts.
Not sure where to begin figuring out this problem. I have used logcat to get what I hope is the most useful info. This is the file up until the moment my phone crashes:
t50JLZP2t4 on vomitb.in (sorry the logcat was too long to include in this post and I can't seem to link directly yet as I'm a new user - not sure what the better way to do this is...)
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, I'd be very grateful. Many thanks to you all!
Cheers!

Thanks Ibuprophen, I have just posted the question there! Thanks for the help!
I need to record calls for my job.
In my Note 8, italian CSC (which was recently stolen during a trip...sigh) i had installed an indian firmware after changing CSC thanks to XDA members and the clear instructions posted in the relative forum (https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...ording-wip-t3905737/post79009745#post79009745).
It's there a similar process for Note 10 and Note 10+? Someone can please post the instructions to do that?
I'm waiting to buy it because i've not still find the way to record calls (blame on **** Google)....
Or there is some other valid solutions?
Thanks in advance

The process is the same, you just need to use the correct combination file for your device.
Before you do that though, you may want to try using a 3rd party callrecorder app, since they now seem to work with the Note 10/+ to varying degrees.
See this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-10+/help/call-recorder-app-t3960278
I use 'BoldBeast' on my Note 10 plus 5G and it works perfectly, some people report good results with 'ACR' but I found that the other party volume was lower compared to when using 'BoldBeast'.
The main thing is not to download from the 'Play Store', for 'ACR' download from the 'Galaxy Store' and download 'BoldBeast' from it's developers site.
Thanks!
I will try before 3d party applications...
just an answer: this applications recognize the recorded telephone numbers too? or the recorded contacts?
otherwise it would not be easy to quickly find a recording among the various archives (because I read that Google has also blocked the ability to recognize numbers and contacts for third-party applications)
I need to install a good spam filter too in my dialer, so waiting for suggestions about that too. (in indian firmware there was one by default in Note 8.... it's there in Note 10 too? in european firmware too?)
Thanks in advance

'BoldBeast' recognises numbers, the only drawback is that auto record is only available on the paid app, otherwise you just press the record button.
Also, no call recorder, native or 3rd party is able to record calls made over wifi.
Spam filter is a native feature in the Note 10/+ Exynos dialer.
---------- Post added at 11:39 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:02 AM ----------
Forgot to add, 'BoldBeast' recognises contacts too, so the answer is that it recognises both numbers and contacts.
Call recorder by skvalex is the best, in my opinion, or simply the built-in Samsung automatic call recorder, which you may enable in the stock phone app.
