My old battery has broken, it has swallen and it lasted only 10 minutes
I bought a new one and everything is fine now.
My question is why it has broken? because i kept the phone in charge all night(a lot of nights)? or because i flashed too much roms?
Is bad to keep the smartphone in charge all night?

Yes it's..
charging in a lot of time will make the battery over power..
and it will lose the Ampere power. I've experienced in my laptop's battery..
flashing too much ROMs is not the problem.. i guess..

100% agreed: flashing too much ROMs has nothing to do with battery.
unless you flash a ROM which was not meant for your device
Battery
Flashing should do nothing.
Overcharging was possible, lets say, till 5 years ago. Actual Notebooks and Mobiles (as the 5660) should automatically discharge when full till 98 % or so, at least not overcharged.
I suspect a defect from factory in your case. Maybe damaged when dropped to the floor.
Regards
K

Hello,
I have a LG G3 D855, first it was totally stock, and the battery life of it was amazing! An hour after i left my home it still had 100/99%. But then i found out there was Cyanogenmod for the LG so i put that on my phone. The battery life decreased a little bit i think......it didn't last a full day, that's for sure. Having that for a while i switched to MIUI 7 and there was the battery life just awful!! After that it was so awful that my phone switch on and off the whole time....but i discovered that is was my battery, that is was broken. So i ordered a new one. On the day i got the new battery, i switched to Cloudy ROM 2.5. I thought that and my new battery helped my phone to last a day. But it didn't! After doing some research i flashed the kernel Chupachup......but my battery can't last even 1 hour without losing 10%
Can someone please help me! Cuz i now need to bring my charger everywhere i go!
Yeah same problem with me...battery is draining really quickly and i only installed cloudy yesterday..
Well after having a new battery you always have to calibrate it by going from 100 percent to letting your phone die completely before the battery actually gets normal/better. Then it will give you a more accurate reading. See if that works. Give it a couple days.

I don't think you're suppose to let it completely drain like that. Draining a Li-ion battery is the same like shorting the life span of it. I suggest you try flashing Gabriel's Kernel and use Bullet's settings. It my help a little. If you want a good battery life and a smooth performance, try flashing F-AOSP. Definitely worth a shot.

Alright thanks i'll go look in to it
My Lg G3's battery was never that good but now it is horrible.
I'm running Fulmics ROM 4.2 at the moment but i've used others as well.
I use Greenify to improve it but i still have a maximun of 2-3 hours screentime.
There's not an app that's really draining my battery.
Is my battery just broken? Any help?
I reach five and more hours without any problem, so i think you should replace your battery

Guys, i need your advice.
I got a G3 ( d855p latinoamerica version) as a payment for a debt.
As far as i have readed this device in particular has a lot of heating issues, dead screens and damaged SOC´s.
My device has its battery damaged, i can only use it for about 3 hours. but it doesnt have any other noticeable issue (the screen its ok and i havent gotten any reboot, yet it heats a lot)
Is it worth the time (and money) buying another OEM battery, getting a 3rd party 6000 mah battery, or let it die?
Thanks in Advance for your answers.
Maybe battery just need a calibration: Battery Calibration - root or just flushing a stock rom to reset some software drain.

I've replaced mine about 2 years into usage, due to some heating, but mainly bootloop problems, and it works ok now. Zero bootloops.
However, while I had about 4-4.5h on-screen time on KitKat, I rarely pass the 3h mark now on Marshmallow.

The battery stats dont show anything weird. Ill go back to Kit Kat and test the battery again.
My Phone is draining -1799 mA of battery.
Does anyone have knowledge on diagnosing the fault?
This happens in any flashed ROM, even on stock

idk what's the cause but that's a huge battery drain. Did you tried apps like greenify ? They freeze apps that may drain your battery. If this doesn't change your battery life, well it's time to change your battery!

Thanks for the reply. Yes I tried many apps, even removed system apps and wakelocks. Funny thing is, the battery discharge is much lower when phone is idling ( around -301mA)
