[request] TWRP for ZD551KL (Zenfone Selfie)

I would ask the Developers and Members of this Forum, the Custom TWRP Recovery for Zenfone Selfie ZD551KL.
Since this apparatus already has unlocked Bootloader and Root.
Who can help ??
I would be grateful for your help !!

this zip contains information necessary for the TWRP be compiled, I extracted the ZD551KL kernel source code available on the ASUS website.

I do not know if this can help
But I copied Several TWRP to ZE551KL and ZE550KL (Laser)
Both install, but none of them works because lock or seje, freezes the screen.
The problem will be finding some Developer Forum in which interest in doing that.
I believe a TWRP ready, we could rather be modified.
Let's hope that someone can help

Happened the same with CypherOS 3.6. I returned to 3.5.1

You should try a new boot.img that a developer made
Google Drive
I installed it with CypherOS 3.6 and the battery % is working fine

do you have issues with the SD card icon stays in the notification area? I can not get it to go away.

any help for porting miui8 i used the mini kernel fo android 6 with the miui8 for m8 and it works i finally see the mi logo but i got a bootloop

I have flashed the same boot.img but my htc sucks in Bootloop. I don't know what to do now...Do u have any suggestion how to flash that new_boot.img. I have flashed via CMD in bootloader mode. I use HTC Desire Eye Euroepan Version.. Thank you

Don't know what to say mate. I installed it via TWRP... Why don't you try that way?

Which Nougat version are you trying to flashing? 7.1.2?

I have AT&T ul_ca, can I still use this? and what's the difference between ul_ca and tuhl?

Is fixed now..thank you..Problem was boot.img ..I got new one from one telegram group for version 7.1.2

These are different versions.
Ul_ca is made for Canadian networks.
Tuhl is for Hong Kong/Taiwan networks.
And yes you can use it. The things you'll need are
1) A NN Rom
2) Boot.img
3) Ul-tuhl#14.1

which are the most stable roms for yu yureka that can do all the functions reliably

want to root yureka and install some stable rom, reliable and power efficient so that i can hand over my device to a relative as I bought a new one. Links to files and rooting procedure are appreaciated..thanks

basically stock roms are stable and bugs free..
but looking for custom rom i will suggest u to flash slimrom
i think it is the best one , good battery , cant find any bugs, and based on Android N

First of all tell me whether your phone is rooted or not and TWRP recovery is installed or not??

If your phone is not rooted and TWRP recovery is not installed then follow these steps:
1. Root your phone
2.then install TWRP recovery
For complete guide click on this and do read the description of the video and follow the respective link from description of video::
For any query just comment on video

VoLTE not available anymore ..!

Hello folks, this is my first post in XDA. So please forgive me if the thread is wrong.
I have recently unlocked the bootloader of my zuk Z2 plus.. (yay..!) and have been trying some new roms,
I have used AICP and AOSP AEX till now..(AEX 4.5 currently ). These are Roms are great but the only problem i faced is that the VoLTE is not working in any of the custom roms .:crying:
even though the ROMS claim to support the feature, i'm having no luck...!
Note - i had my VoLTE turned on and perfectly working when i installed the first Custom ROM. And i have performed both Clean and dirty flash.
I am unable to post any links for the screenshots since this is my first post..
Please suggest me a solution ..

Revert back to Stock rom!
I encountered the same problem and reverted back to stock rom.. There was a issue with baseband and it can be fixed in this way.. Now it's working fine in custom ROM too !!

I thought I was the only one...it stopped working at the time of this post creation exactly...

You can try flashing it again.. If you made backup of stock ROM from TWRP then restoring that will be better.

Yes root is possible. Check out partcyborgs rom or jrkruse roms.

If your flashing the root ROM it will fail, it states that in the thread. Read all the steps in the ROM post ad they are very specific

I just rooted my 8+ thanks to Rootjunky.com from one of his videos on youtube, I'm still on Verizon and I didn't have to flash any ROM, just some files and boom.

The PartCyborg rom comes with Xposed pre-installed. It is working fine for me, but I am not using too many modules. Good reports on Partcyborg's ROM thread though.
Yes, you can unroot and flash back to stock.

Partcyborg rom?? That rom will work on the Verizon s8+? What's the cons of this rom..

Follow the instructions in the first post of the thread. Follow them verbatim. Read carefully before you start.
Use the BQL1 downloads in the second post of the thread.
This is what I did and it worked fine. I flashed both in COMSY ODIN. I did not use the Flashfire method, but I have used it before and it also works. If you do use Flashfire for the AP file (First file) be sure to flash the bootloader (second file) in COMSY ODIN..

I recommend that you use the downloads in the second post, not the third. The bootloop edition is an older version. The latest works better. The latest that ends with BQL1 is compatible with your phone because both are based on bootloader version 2.
If you want to have a backup of your stock firmware you can download the BRB1 firmware from updato or from samsung. I find updato to provide much faster downloads, but sometimes it is a bit strange finding the firmware you want. You can usually search by phone and service provider.

Thanks I did download the AP_BQL1 CYBORG ROM part 1
And BL_cyborgromBQL1 part 2.
Im having issues with my USB port. I posted it in the partcyborg rom forum if you wanna take a look because I may need some help. If you can and have the time.
That's all I need to flash? I have Odin downloaded and on standby just waiting to figure out my USB thing.
