It should be with some higher edge above the screen...not flat As screen.

I'm currently using this case: Ultra Thin TPU Case
Supertight fit, perfect cutouts, smooth material, no fingerprints or smudges on the case. Recommend.

Has anyone tested out the case and screen protector combo above? Nice price, but how good is the screen protector and also how does the case feel?
Anyone tested these?
Nobody had any experiences with this brand?
Ask again? Lol
The case is nice. Still testing... Note isn't much thicker but screen protector is a piece of ****. Tiny bit too big for the screen (bubbles on the edges and around the screen) and there is no hole for start/home button!!!
flatter orecta
Hi,
I own this LGND case from Incipio,
Very good build quality but a bit thick but still ok for my pant's pockets.
Hope it helps.
For me it's nice but too expensive?
Hey fellas,
Got my hands on the new SGP Ultra Bumper Lumi Series case for the Galaxy S3. If you're familiar with the Neo hybrid series case, this is a variation of that model - essentially using up the 'bumper' portion of the neo hybrid. The case is made out of a tough TPU and plastic combination which suits it well, it offers a tight and rigid fit that is easy to take on and off. The ports and cut-outs are perfect, as usual with SGP cases. The case offers a slim and streamlined design which I like. As far as bumper cases go, this has set the standard for the rest - it's great!

very good review dude :good:
you said that the front doesn't offer any drop protection. Doesn't the case have a slight raised lip to it? Another qs i had was for the screen protector. Is it smooth to the touch ?

It does have slight lips so even if you lay screen down it shouldn't cause any damages, unless you lay on uneven surface. As far as screen protector, they come with ultra crystal which gives very smooth glass feel. It has hardness of 4H unlike SGP nano series (2h) so it doesn't easily get scratched either. Only downside is coverage is short due to the curved nature of S3. Comes short about 3mm all around.
On the side note, this case (latest products from sgp) has shape edges which I didn't like. It was very uncomfortable against my ear when I'm on the phone. Not quite sure if it's designed that way to make it non slippery but I didn't like it. So I took a sand paper and made it smooth all around. Now it feels so much better for me.

Apologies for the confusion, since the SGP Glas screenshield I have installed is thicker than most, it protrudes above the lip - but yes, there is a very slight lip to it. The screen protector is very similar to the naked glass, so it is very smooth.
I'm trying to find a screen protector & case combo that wouldn't give me that "raised lip" you get from most cases. Does anyone have a good recommendations? Thank you!

I've never seen a case that doesn't have some sort of lip around the front. I'm not sure how else a case would stay on if it didn't wrap around the front a little bit. Some are smaller than others. I have a glass screen protector and have tried two cases for the Z3c. The Cruzerlite Bugdroid has a fairly pronounced lip, which was slightly annoying. The Ringke has a much smaller lip, which is barely noticeable IMO.
Hi im looking to decide between the Spigen Neo Hybrid and Spigen rugged armor. I have read many reviews but none of them seems legit, so any user who have any of these cases please confirm this for me:
SPIGEN NEO HYBRID:
1. Does the sides of the plastic bumper tuns yellow after a while of use like a month or two? and if it does looses its color can i buy the bumper separately?
2. Does it provide better protection on drops as compared to the rugged armor?
SPIGEN RUGGED ARMOR:
1. Is the case too slippery?
2. How is the drop protection on this case?
I'm looking for protection over looks so please help me make a valid choice, and if you think that both the cases sucks feel free to suggest me the one you prefer.
Thanks in advance.
Hi, I have the Spigen Rugged Armor, this case is good looking if you don't mind that the OnePlus logo is hidden with this case. This case also have a good grip and good drop protection.
I once dropped my 3T while using this case with the screen facing down the concrete. Fortunately, this case protected my screen from shatter. I recommended you get this case if you spend majority of your work outside office. Better safe than sorry.
I bought the Rugged Armor and I have to say I'm really impressed. It's thin, feels great and definitely isn't too slippery. The carbon fiber looks good too. The only issue is I'm not sure how much drop protection it would provide because like I say it is very thin. There's a lip over the screen but I can imagine the phone becoming disfigured underneath if it was dropped from an appreciable height. I'm usually quite careful though so I'm trying not to worry about that
Thanks for the reply guys I was slightly inclined towards the rugged armor my self, it looks frekin awesome. I'll go for it then.
Currently using the Spigen rugged armour as I was afraid of finger prints with the clear variant. Not as slippery as I expected and gives all the protection you need, saved my phone from a couple of drops and it is scratch free
I'm actually using both. I initially only had the rugged armor and then bought the Neo hybrid. I found with a glass screen protector the Rugged armor doesn't play well with it. With just a plastic screen protector the Neo hybrid looks really nice. I love em both though
I have one and it's not really a good "feel" for me. It's a great case, just not to my liking. I am rocking this one now: OnePlus 3T Case, OnePlus 3 Case, Nillkin Synthetic Fiber Premium Bumper Case Cover [Compatible with Magnetic Car Holder] for OnePlus 3T / 3 - Black. It's a lot like the OEM and fits great. With that and the LiquidSkin protector, I really like the slimness and the feel.
Been using the rugged armor for about a month.
- Not slippery
- Good protection
- Not too thick
- I think the CF is stupid. I want it plain.
9/10 would buy again.

Have had the OP3T with that case for 2 months now
1. No they don't. I just have one little scratch on the corner revealing a small white line (barely visible)
2. No idea since I haven't dropped the phone a single time. I can just say that the bumper makes the case kind of more slippery actually. Previously I rocked Spigen Ultra Hybrid on Nexus 5/Nexus6/Galaxy S6 and it was much more grippy. I felt much safer while for example on a bus, now I aim to hold it with two hands since I don't feel the grip this well. The Neo's advantage over Ultra Hybrid though, is the fact that the whole product is relatively soft and flexible so that it doesn't damage the device at all as UH used to with its back made of hard solid plastic.
9/10 very decent, non-bull**** and SOLID case anyway. Totally recommend it, the notices above are just the matter of my fussiness
Hi to all
I have two temperate glass, Nillkin and Akcoo. My question is which one is better for protecting when phone fall?
1. Nillkin is placed by the edges of glass and and there remains a small space between the phone display and the protective glass.
2. Akcoo it adheres to the full width of the display on the phone.
So which one is better and is safe when phone fall?
I use Nilkin hard case and it is almost like a skin on your phone with zero protection. The in hand feel and look is amazing though.
I would suggest Spigen thin fit(slightly better edge protection) instead of Nilkin if you drop your phone rarely.
No idea about Akcoo.
