Hi,
I bought a new Nokia 6 2018 TA-1054 from China. I ordered it with global firmware, the seller told to me that they will send me global version but I received Chinese one.
Can I change the firmware to global and how?

The best thing is return it to seller, if is possible.
You can unlock bootloader, but it is a paid service and then probably flash GSI fw, there are no factory images for Nokia 6.1, so you can't flash the original fw.
i am using Nokia 6 TA 1054. My device cant connect mobile data...any solution

You can unlock it for free !
When you are on settings, then "about your phone", you tap on the last line for seven times (build number) and then, you can return on develloper mode and unlock your bootloader

That option does not unlock the bootloader, it only allows you to do it.

Yes, your bootloader is ulocked. Bootloop after unlocking is something normal because data partition is wiped.

Is it safe to lock it with partition of the previous 4.3 firmware?
It is unlocked for a 100%?

your bootloader is already unlocked, flashing ftf won't change anything until you flash the relock file, and there's no half unlock

i realy try to do that but i cant there is a trick to unlock bootloader but i cant under stand any thing form it
that trick they put in there forum if any one under stand it it will be good help to us to install cm12

Well I came to my local tech store and ask them to unlock my bootloader because its hard for me to understand . After that everything is easy.I sucessfully flash the twrp recovery on my phone using an app called Rashr.And finally install the Cm12 and gapp zip file.But there is a few bug though

May be a hardware problem like battery failure .

No idea how to do it on mac. Borrow a window machine and flash yput device specific ruu.
U can extract the rom.zip from ruu (hardly take 2-3 min) and then flash it via fastboot.(sd card method)

Does anybody know about when Android p 9.0 will hit nokia 6.1 ? According to indian express news it was set to launch via ota from August ,i didn't get one , rumors are suggesting in china there is a update received by ota in public. Dies anybody have any clear ideas

For the time being we are stuck with Google's trusted face feature only on the global variant. Because EUIPO, has rejected HMD’s “Face Unlock” trademark that the company filed on 16th April this year.

The bootloader won't unlock I did everything to unlock the bootloader I was brick so I have to use the assistant rescue to save my phone don't try it to unlock the bootloader just giving a heads up.

There have been several people that have unlocked their bootloader's so far. Some even have root with magisk by patching their boot.img files. It's nothing new

Welp sucks to suck I guess lol. You should know by now that Verizon never allows bootloader unlocking.
I was saying this when I try to unlock the bootloader it brick on me lucky I use the software they had.

What browser did you use when input the could you got when you were in adb fastboot? Chrome/brave told me I could not unlock my bootloader. Same code in Firefox and bootloader unlocking was good to go.
I try chrome first it didn't work then I use Firefox still won't work which brand u got what carrier.

Verizon is my carrier but I bought the unlocked international version for us so Verizon didn't get a say in the bootloader. If you bought yours from Verizon you are likely stuck locked.
